Rubbish Customer Service

We've bought dozens of Ravensburger jigsaw puzzles as they are good quality but recently a brand new puzzle had a piece missing. It's standard practice for jigsaw manufacturers to replace defective puzzles like this, and indeed we have had a replacement from another manufacturer, Otter House. We contacted Ravensburger who had us jumping through hoops to provide them with information, then they declined to help us because we had purchased the puzzle more than six month ago. Their customer service is just rubbish so we won't be buying any more of their puzzles and recommend Otter House instead. Their puzzles are just as well made, they provide good customer service, and the boxes take up much less space.

"Completed" Puzzle

I have recently completed a Tranquil Harbour Jigsaw to find I am missing a piece. Apparently The company does not replace individual pieces and so I have wasted my time and money on a supposedly " premium quality " product
I have almost always bought from this company and Gibson's in the past but now it seems you cannot rely on even the better companies
With the last 3 puzzles purchased 2 have had I piece missing ( The other one was not from the two companions mentioned above)
At 84 I will not add to this companies profits and instead will use online puzzles which are Free!

Misleading 'influencer' game contents

Sadly they seem to prioritise the content creator/influencers when promoting their games making it look like you get extras for ordering direct.

New Horrified game was shown being unboxed prior to release with extras which when received in the UK was not included.

Disappointing first customer experience going direct which was very surprising given the company reputation.

Revieved a very poor response to my query which was unapologetic regarding my points and condescending with a screen grab of the product info totally disregarding my comments which made us feel stupid.

A simple 'Sorry we gave that impression and will ask content creators to explain this is not what a retail package would receive' would have been courteous and polite response.

I welcome any further comments from Ravensburger in this.

2 replacements free of charge!

Got gifted a set (new) and there was a piece missing a Gravitrax set. Replaced no problem free of charge in the post.
We then got gifted several used sets by a friend and it had parts broken. Emailed on the off chance that we could pay for a new piece. All sent in the post free of charge! Fantastic to offer this as it was all due to be put in the bin, so it had been saved from landfill. My son is super happy with his massive gravitrax bundle now!

Rapuzel Castle Collection

Bought a Ravensburger puzzle, part of the Castle Collection. Completed the puzzle to find one piece missing. Contacted Ravensburger and they were not helpful. I see other people on Trustpilot have had the same experience. Most disappointing.

Poor response from Ravensburger/Brio…

Poor response from Ravensburger/Brio regarding my grandson’s Christmas present a Brio RC Travel Train 33510.
When trying to get it going forward, sometimes the headlights flash on and off and there is no forward motion, but the train always works first time when putting in reverse.
I have tried 6 types of new batteries in it, but get the same result, nothing.
I have probably spent more on batteries to test the train, than its initial purchase price.
All battery contacts are clean.
Ravensburger advised it was the batteries I was using.
Then went on to tell me all the other things I was doing wrong with the remote control.
When did customer service representatives learn to stop READING emails fully. I asked for the problem to be escalated to a department that actually knows the product.
Strangely not heard from Ravensburger again.

Had a Ravensburger 1000 piece bought…

Had a Ravensburger 1000 piece bought for Christmas. On finishing the puzzle one piece was missing. Have done many of there puzzles without a problem. Did contact Ravensburger but don’t recommend that it’s really hard work took about three days of complying with all there question then had to send a cut out of puzzle number was told I would get a replacement puzzle two weeks on received nothing and no contact.

Missing pieces

Bought a 1000 piece jigsaw - the greatest book shop. 13 missing pieces and 4 duplicate pieces! So disappointing!!

Great support

The family has enjoyed Ravensburger jigsaws for years. Best quality puzzles out there.

We started on the 3D models recently but ran into a problem and contacted customer support.

They were responsive and helpful and even supplied a small replacement part for free.
