Excellent! Fantastic price for really good grade Mapex seat, and fast delivery. Very well packaged. Nice one guys!
After contacting several retailers in my search for a set of electronic drums, I eventually had the pleasure of speaking with Kevin at Rattle and Drum Music, Derby.
In contrast to all the other retailers I had approached, Kevin patiently and thoroughly answered all my questions in an extremely sincere and enthusiastic manner, providing an honest, balanced and professional viewpoint from somebody who has been in the industry for many years. This led me to placing an order for a GEWA G5 electronic kit, which was delivered within a very short period of time.
Through absolutely no fault of Rattle and Drum Music, there were a couple of minor issues with the kit following delivery, which were expeditiously resolved by Kevin through liaison with the manufacturer, GEWA.
His level of customer service before, during and after purchase has been exceptional - in my experience, an extremely rare phenomenon these days!
My thanks go out to Kevin for all his advice and assistance throughout my drum kit purchase, and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending both him and Rattle and Drum Music to any prospective purchaser.
rang up the store in need of a last minute drum head, the staff were really helpful they found it and pretty much posted it straight away. can’t fault them at all! a lovely bunch of people, thank you :))
Martin and the team at Rattle & Drum have been simply amazing helping me with replacing a cymbal. Through absolutely no fault of their own, the well wrapped and protected cymbal arrived damaged by the courier company. (These things happen.) On contacting Martin he immediately righted the situation and speedily organised a replacement and swap.
The cymbal arrived today and I am so very pleased with my purchase and would not hesitate to order from Rattle & Drum again! Thank you!
Superb return service and quality advice on alternatives. Very knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended
This is the first and last time i bought something from this company.
Worst service ever.
I bought a Drum Head about 10 days ago and still not received the item or any information about the progress.
Never buying for here again !!!!
Absolutely brilliant service, lovely helpful staff. I ordered a bass guitar and it came checked and well set up. It was also delivered when I requested. Perfect service. Many thanks
Nice to see a company that supplies what you need and really care about the service they provide, nice one lads 👍
*****Excellent Service*****Fast Dispatch*****Great Prices*****Recommended*****. I ordered on Thursday and received my items within 48 hours by standard free delivery (orders over £50). I previously ordered the same items over 2 months ago from another supplier with stock who turned out to be based overseas. I am still waiting for a refund as the items were never received. Please read my other reviews for your own guidance before ordering music items online.
If there was ever a company who cared more about its customers over anything else, it’s this one. Covid Hit, turns out I’ve got more time to play my drums. Amazon is awful for drums bits, but these guys, are absolutely amazing. The service they provide is amazing. If I ordered something, there’s a good chance I’d get it same day, as they’d just drop it off themselves. It saves them having to post it, it saves me having to wait to a few days for it to be delivered. Sticks and skins, roll on 5:30pm. Advice on new stands with my budget? Taken in, ordered and dropped off my 5:30pm.
You could not ask for a better group of people, working in a store they’re all so passionate about
Took my son to try out a new bass guitar for his 18th Birthday and although we ended up buying one (it was the only one locally that we could get in time for the big day) I have to say the experience was poor.
Upon entering the store there was just one person in there behind the counter, we received no welcome and found our own way to the bass guitar section. My son found the guitar he was interested in and took it off the display and went to the counter to enquire if he could give it a try to which he received the response -“are you serious about buying it?” which seemed a little terse and unnecessary. He said he was and the assistant went on stating that if he wasn’t serious then he couldn’t try it because it would become shop soiled and second hand!
Anyway he was allowed a few minutes to try it and the guy came back to ask if he wanted it -against my better judgement we decided yes we did despite the poor attitude and service and all of a sudden the assistant’s demeanour changed and nothing was to much trouble - did we need a bag?, did we need a strap? etc
To be fair he did throw in a basic carry bag for it but £25 for a guitar strap?
My advice would be:
If you are a customer there know exactly what you want before entering and don’t expect a demo unless you’re ready to buy
If you are the owner of this business try building a little bit of rapport with your customers and you might find they spend a little more with you.
I personally will not be going back there purely because of the lack of friendly service
