Rathwood are currently trading despite being in receivership that has resulted in me loosing €175 for an undelivered order of logs and many others are in the same boat. How do they have the cheek to continue trading and how and who are allowing this. Please avoid this undeserving company.

Open a dispute with the bank you paid with, and give them all the details. Might help you get your money back.
I did that, and took 4 months. Got money back but they had the cheek to try and dispute it.

Everyone, please read the statement released yesterday from the CCPC regarding Rathwood - I am unable to include the link here.

Any customers affected by undelivered items/refunds should have been contacted by the Examiner, but I was one of those customers that wasn't so was unaware of what was happening. Rathwood customer service didn't provide any helpful advice either, just plenty of empty promises for months.

UPDATE: People who have ordered before the 24th of April & have not received their order are not believed to receive their order or full refund now. Please apply for a charge back through your bank as soon as possible!

I really regret that I didn't check the reviews before. I ordered chair and waited long. They assure me is that because is coming from UK that's why I need to wait longer and today I got an email that said:"As you may be aware, Rathwood is currently undergoing an examinership process. Unfortunately, the payment made for your order through Revolut was never received by Rathwood from the payment provider. As a result, we have not been in a position to fulfil your order or issue a refund directly."
Basically no money and no product, shocking...

Do not purchase from Rathwood. Paid for an item and informed there is no refunds and they will not be fulfilling the order

STAY CLEAR !!!!!!!! Do not use this company , bought garden furniture online , heard nothing for weeks then I rang them , customer service is in the Philippines, they gave me no info on my order so I cancelled , they told me that my refund would be in my revolut in 5-10 working days , still nothing , an absolute Sham , Google the company before thinking of buying anything !!!!

This company has literally stolen from thousands of customers. Took orders never supplied what was ordered, held off repayment with false promises and lies. Now in examinership. Unlikely any of us customers will ever see our money now. Absolutely scam merchant. I ordered timber in May 2025 on the wait and save feature. I’ve been fobbed off on numerous phone calls since December 2025 when I finally cancelled. This company should be banned from trading and jailed for theft.

Do not purchase anything from this company. Bought products that never arrived and am still waiting for a refund 3 months later.

If I could do 0 stars I would. Still no refund from December. Terrible customer service

I placed and paid for an item 6 days before Rathwood entered examinership in April 2026. At the time, the item was advertised as available. I followed up multiple times requesting confirmation that stock would be allocated to my order.

Despite this, I was later informed that the item was no longer available with no restock date, and that my order could not be fulfilled, amended, or refunded due to examinership.

What I found particularly concerning is that in the days leading up to examinership, Rathwood continued to promote sales on their website, including incentives for delayed delivery. Since entering examinership, they have also continued to sell and dispatch stock to new customers.

This left me in a position where:
- My fully paid order was not fulfilled
- Stock appears to have been sold after my purchase
- No alternative solution was offered

I requested a reassignment to an alternative in-stock item of equal value, which was refused. I ultimately had to initiate a chargeback, after which my order was cancelled within in minutes of Rathwoods noting this.

Very disappointing experience. I appreciate that examinership creates challenges, but continuing to sell stock while not fulfilling existing paid orders raises serious concerns about fairness for customers.

Placed my order on the 14th of may , during the online purchase I received a phone call from rathwood wondering did I want to continue with the purchase and if so they’d send me a payment link , I received the link and it was €30 more expensive. I should have been alerted that this was a scam.
My order was to be delivered between the 17th and 28th of may , I’ve phoned and emailed Rathwood several time and I just get a generic response they’ve gone into examinership, my order is on hold . What do I do now?

If is possible to give no stars. Placed order last year promised refunds on several occasions never received money back. Avoid at all costs

Really disappointed Jean never followed up on any emails re my order that never came 3 weeks later!! Nor my promised refund on shipping... simply unacceptable!! Shocking customer service!!

Fill you with false promises on a guaranteed 100% refund within 14 days & still nothing...
Yes I was guaranteed my refund by Anna & she gave me her word even rang me on day 13 to confirm bank details to process refund & still nothing...
Same Anna tells me today that she was unaware what was happening & said she was sorry for what happened...
It's in the hands of my bank now & legal team...
Never again will I buy anything from them...

Absolutely disgraceful!!! Still waiting for mu money back. I ordered in September 2025, by October mu furniture wasn't available and I've been ask to choose something else. I requested money back and still waiting. I've been contacted by Trustpilot 3 times via email. No help whatsoever!!!! We have May 2026 and im still waiting for my own money!!! Feeling like crying 😢

Just an update, still no refund, I am here again warning anyone intending to buy from Rathwood online. The catalogue of items does not exist, or only partially exists. You order at your own risk, it is highly likely that you will not get the item, and be told said item is out of stock, or damaged etc, they will promise a refund, and you won't get it without a battle. Please folks save yourself the stress, and your money, buy elsewhere. They owe me 110 euro, not a fortune no, but I don't earn much, so to me it is a lot of money, plus why should it be in their pockets, and not mine. I have gone past the chargeback time now, so I don't hold much hope, so anyone within 120 days from purchase try the chargeback as soon as possible.

Don't trust , they tuck the order and the money and will not deliver, the calm high court action on the future of the company has frozen everything, by the shop and online sales are still open, be warned
