Bought some "Crucial" ram, but was sent their own homebrand. Kind of dodgy if you ask me, wouldn't be purchasing from them again.

First time ordering from these guys late last year after RAM prices spiked up, but theirs hadn't. They said the Crucial RAM I had ordered was out of stock but they could offer alternative Samung RAM. Said it's genuine Samsung and compatible.

Got it (delivered next day!), appeared to be Samsung - printed on the board but need magnification to read easily, installed and working great so far with GNU/Linux system. I wanted to get SSD too but their prices rose by then so I'll just have to wait it out : (

In case you're not not sure about RAM upgrade now due to the prices, try a super lightweight Linux distro like AntiX, FunOS, BesGnuLinux or Debian with a lightweight window manager like JWM or IceWM. All of them use less than 300MB idle RAM so you have more memory leftover for those bloated Electron apps.

Just bought from these guys again. Prices had spiked but they, correctly, explained there is a worldwide chip shortage and all RAM has risen in price. They had stock of what I needed and shipped it same day. Great communication guys, thanks

Ramcity advertise Crucial ram and then send generic ram made in China. This is the scam they run. Charging a premium for the cheapest ram they can source. Keith is one of the scammers.

I placed and paid for an order with RamCity over 10 days ago, and to this day, the order has not been shipped. Even worse, I’ve sent multiple emails to follow up, and they have completely ignored me. No response, no update, nothing.

It’s incredibly frustrating to pay for something and then be left in the dark with zero communication. I expected far better service, especially from a company that claims to be reliable.

I’m extremely disappointed and won’t be purchasing from RamCity again. If you value your time and money, look elsewhere.

Excellent communication and fast responses. The item that I purchased was top quality and I got a great price on it. To top it off the shipping time was extremely fast.

I ordered an item after close of business on the 6th of November. The item was in stock but was not shipped until the 15th. My email on the 9th was also not returned.
Cheap prices, but not worth the wait.

I bought an item you had 'in stock', but it took 13 days for Ram City to send give it to Aus Post. Which means, it was not in stock, or they just take that long to ship stuff. Any way you look at it, they can't be trusted.

Don’t place any faith in their shipping policy! This is their policy (and below that is my very different experience):

“ WILL MY ORDER SHIP TODAY?
For same day shipping, please place your order before 2pm on business days. If the item is in stock, we will ship it the same day and email you the tracking details later in the evening. Live stock levels are shown on every product page on our website.”

I placed my order (2 listed as ‘in stock’) at 1:17pm on a Wednesday, expecting my order to arrive by Friday. No such luck!

I called Ramcity on the following Monday, to be informed it had “just been shipped”.

After expressing my disappointment, the operator began to tell me the item was out of stock - I corrected him that there was clearly 2 marked available in the online store - at which point he indicated one had a faulty cable and one had been a ‘walk out’.

I informed him that this is different to what the shipping policy stated, and that at the very least I could have received some kind of update or notification that my order status had changed. It was for a $300 item.

Any way, he drawled ‘sorry’ at me so I must feel better about it all now.

After a promising first contact, have had to go on the chase. Rising anxiety compelled me to seek other people's experiences. Some good and some not good. Read enough to cause me concern that I may fall into the latter category, as I have still not received an acknowledgement of my order, my most basic expectation at point of sale. At this stage, disappointing. :(

Really happy with the prompt turn around during the COVID lockdown. My laptop is much happier now.

As a long term customer we have used ram city for upgrading our fleet of macbooks, imacs and mac pro's 40+ times over the last four years and had zero issues. They have a warehouse in Brisbane where we were able to pick up ram for those crazy last minute requests.

They guarantee a 100% compatibility for Apple computers so if you are running apple machines I can highly recommend them.

Since finding RamCity a few years back, I haven't used any other supplier again. These guys hands down have the best quality products and service. The product shipping is the best in the industry (trust me I've been around for many, many years). I have to rely on fast delivery to keep my customers happy and business standing up. Most times, I receive next day delivery, which is almost unheard of in my location.

The guys at RamCity are the best, they've always gone above and beyond to service our business. We frequently need upgrades and we need them fast and the guys at RamCity are usually able to deliver within the day and at very competitive rates. Website is easy to use and if it's time critical you can always call and speak with someone knowledgeable, friendly and keen to help. Highly recommended.

Ordered a product from their website to be sent to Auckland New Zealand, they send it to Denmark, despite having correct address.
Placed order on 15th June, as of 24th June item still lost.

Ram City say they can’t get hold of their warehouse manager, which turns out to be another supplier somewhere in Australia, as it transpires Ram City don’t hold the stock, but are drop shippers.
No accountability from Ram City, just blaming DHL and their warehouse manager!

Keep harping on about 10 day delivery window – from their website “This means if you order before 2pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time, Mon-Fri, excluding public holidays), we can ship your order on the same day and get it to you as soon as possible! “ – 9 Days after placing my order nothing.

Ok bought on one day delivered the next - gotta be one of the best organised online suppliers on the internet. I have installed my new ram and my computer is like new again!

We had a mishap /miss-understanding somewhere during my online chat researching SSD compatibility with my MBP. I had been sold the wrong drive. Rod Bland took everything I had said into consideration about the miss-understanding and was happy to come an agreement where we both were happy (I was happy anyway so I hope Rod really was too).

Whats worse, the new product sent out got lost in the mail after going through a mail-redirection at AusPost. RamCity didn't even hesitate to send a replacement product out (which was not a cheap item).

With just my 'word' to go on Rod listened and accepted what I was saying and didn't just blow me off and shut down the situation. I can't recommend them enough. I am now a lifetime customer even if I find a cheaper product. Service is everything!

Quick to respond to my initial query. I liked the fact that I had a 100% guarantee that the memory would work ok in my Acer laptop. Even though I was offered cheaper RAM by other companies I felt that the product offered by Ramcity was better quality. My order was delivered on time and I had no problems after instal. Will definitely buy from them again.
