Completely underwhelming chicken. Lacked basic seasoning. One word to describe would be bland. Lackluster fries. Something you can get in the frozen section of the market. Poor excuse for "texas toast... See more

Very disappointed
1st of all the coleslaw was missing with the dinner.
3 of us had sandwiches. 1 was missing the lettuce. The lettuce on the other sandwiches was almost slimy. It was not fresh or crisp.
The quality was very disappointing. This was our 1st and more than likely our last visit

I spoke to "Matthew" on March 25th @ 3:30 to place an order for a catering for our city council special meeting to be held on Thursday, March 27th and food to be ready for pickup at 4:30.
On March 27th, I sent my co-worker to pick up order at 4:30. They first said there was no "Matthew" and then somebody said there was. This person said that Matthew should not have been taking orders. The person also said they found our order on the floor and it would be ready by 5:00. My co-worker waited for the order and was never offered a drink while waiting. This was very unprofessional and very disrespectful. This was in San Marcos, Texas.
Not Real Chicken (mystery meat)
Had Raising Cane’s for the first time. The chicken tenders were absolutely disgusting. They did not even look like real chicken. I literally spit out what I had in my mouth and threw my meal in the trash. I do not know what they are serving but it’s definitely not real chicken. It’s the worst fast food meal I’ve ever had in my life. Definitely will never go back.
Canes needs quit being stingy on their sauce
I have been going to the Canes at reno and macarthur for quite awhile 96 visits on my canes card. Tonight I went and was very disappointed. I ordered a box combo and two extra chicken fingers. I ask for one more canes sauce since I ordered extra chicken and was told I would have to pay 42 cents for it. It's already a little crazy they are only giving people one sauce for 4 chicken fingers but when you've bought extra chicken fingers that's a little much to ask the customer to pay 42 cents for one more sauce. Other chicken places like chick fil do not do that. Canes already charges alot more for their combo meals so I would think that should cover the price of one sauce. If I could do zero stars for tonight's visit I would. Come on Canes lighten up on being so stingy with your sauce.

Outrageously overpriced for middle of the road food at best..... Went once, that's more than enough
First and last time eating here.
We ate in. I assume the chicken was as it was supposed to be which is OK. The FF were way undercooked. They tasted almost raw. We had to go to the counter twice to get the meal correct. Once for not enough chicken once for no coleslaw. The Coke was out -- brown water is what you got. When we told the worker that the cup that was full of this water needed to be thrown out, she shrugged and did nothing about it...left it sitting on the counter. I said I need another cup! She gave me one with no ice. I got root beer and drank it at room temperature. The dining room empty tables were dirty. It's cheap to eat, and you get what you pay for. I will not be back.

Ordered 50 pieces of chicken along with fries and toast. Got no sauce with the chicken. Was told I had to order it separately. So I had to pay an additional $20 to get sauce when I should have gotten some free with the 50 pieces of chicken that I already ordered. Totally ridiculous!

I visited the Laveen location today and I just want to show appreciation and respect to the employee who assisted me at the drive thru window. There were several people in line and there was a mix up with my order. They took full accountability and even accommodated my order. They are always nice and professional.
If you want to get treated like shit by the employees and management, go here.
Ashley has no customer service skills whatsoever. She treated me like a pile of the Cane's mascot, after he ate. The manager on duty saw the whole thing; did nothing, and let her continue to put on a show in front of other guests. When I asked to speak to a manager, who had left the front line, I was told no, Not sure if this is proper procedure, according to the Cane's operation manual, but there are 3 people who should have lost their jobs yesterday. All of this should have been captured on security camera video, unless it was erased, which wouldn't surprise me.

This was the worst delivery ever the app said 40mins and the delivery and restaurant almost took 2hours this was such a bad thing and raising canes in my area is only 15 minutes away, ridiculous service from raising canes.
DISRESPECT
Improve your hiring process by training your managers on how to treat people and conduct their interviews professionallly.
A buddy of mine was told he was hired. The manager even asked what his shirt size was. He waited for a call from HR, the manager, whomever. But Nothing. The manager NEVER called him back. My friend called the restaurant for 2 DAYS waiting to get onboarding paper work (because he was told by the manager to expect it). When he was finally was able to reach the manager, he told him that he'd already sent him the paperwork, but told him he'd "resend it". He did not. We told my friend not to call the restaurant again. It is clear that this manager was humiliating him. Instead of being a GROWN MAN and telling my buddy that the company decided not to bring him on board, this COWARD decided that ghosting my freind was the best option.
If raising canes treats their candidates like this, I can only imagine how they treat you when you actually work for them...
Raising Canes has lost our business, and our respect.

Damages to new car due to employees failing to check sweet tea gallon for leaks.
I purchased a gallon of tea in the drive-through at the Murphy Texas location. I have purchased gallons of tea from other locations many times with no problem. This time, however they hand me a gallon of tea in a bag. I headed to my wife I drive away and it starts leaking all over my wife and the seat of my brand new 2025 outback wilderness. I’m at a light so it takes a while before I can turn back in and go to the restaurant parking lot. I take the galaxy from my wife to the restaurant. Tell him what happened. The guy sit on the counter. It leaks all over the counter and he says to me, sorry. I say well I’m concerned about the seat of my brand new $50,000 car they ended up giving me another gallon of tea. I tell them again I’m concerned about my $50,000 car with sweet tea soaked into the passenger seat. They say nothing they call no manager nothing I contact corporate and I’m supposed to receive a call from them yesterday and I get no calls. I told them that I need to have the car detailed to deal with the tea problem soaked in the seat and they don’t seem to be too interested in taking care of that problem. The situation is clearly their fault and they’re basically ignoring the problem I will be taking my car to the dealer. They probably will replace a seat because of the sugar in sweet tea and I will see if I can charge them for that service or I’ll contact the Better Business Bureau and I’ll work with them since they’re not talking to me.
I have had the opportunity to have…
I have had the opportunity to have chicken fingers and all types of chicken from more than 12 restaurants and of all the restaurants for chicken the two best ever chicken experiences have been in Kansas City at a place called Stroud's. and at Joe Stone Crab in Miami, FL. These fingers from Raising canes are by far the worst chicken fingers that I've ever had in my life. The chicken has zero flavor, and while you have made millions of dollars, good for you. But, your chicken is hands down the worst ever. It's now the 2nd time I've had it and will definitely never ever return to this chain again. There is a new place opening around the corner from the Raising canes by me call Pollo Campero and for fast food chicken their chicken is amazingly better. Juicy and crispy. Once they open their new place, I will visit them, but not this place.
Huge prices for bland tasting food
Overrated. I've always heard about people talking about this place so I went ahead to check it out. The chicken tasted very bland, the sauces had little to no flavor, and the prices are AGREDGOUS. Don't fall for the hype. I expected way more.
A little rant:
Honestly, the chicken looked very juicy and crisp, but when I tasted it I barely felt anything at all. Now, I tried dipping it in sauce but it still tasted bland. Like what?? Isn't this sh*t supposed to be the best in town? The fries were also oversalted at the top of the pile and undersalted at the bottom. Golly, just get Popeyes of chick-fa-lia. Way cheaper and doesn't taste bad.

After waiting in Drive thru a long time to order ( just us two cars) the chicken tasted like semi raw meat fried in old grease. I will not be back. Not to mention expensive. But it was hot.
No Customer Service
Ordered Fries and Honey Mustard. The person delivered Cane's Sauce - which is not Honey Mustard. When I pointed this out the person got very belligerent and stated it's yellow it's Honey Mustard.
I filed a complaint last week. A lady from Texas called and stated how sorry she was and she would make sure the crew in the University City location would be coached about customer service. That either didn't happen or the crew at U City ignored her instructions.
In addition the lady from Texas stated she would send me a voucher for a free meal. That was over a week ago and no voucher and crappy customer service.
Two years later.
Two years later and this restaurant continues to prove how amazing it is! Excellent tasty tenders, fries, toast and lemonade! The customer service is spot on and it is always an unforgettable experience. The cane sauce is addicting and I just love to add it to a lot of my homemade foods on occasion. It breaks my heart to see all of the less than stellar reviews on here/I humbly apologize for any and all bad experiences you have had with Raising Canes. However, I would like to offer some strong suggestions to corporate heads, to ensure them much more continued success with this particular brand:
a. Give us a different variety of fries and substitute the salt/pepper for garlic instead.
b. Allow us to substitute the fries and coleslaw, for chicken strips at no extra cost (unless it exceeds a certain number)
c. Add a spicy variation to the tenders and chicken sandwich as well. (Allow us to choose if we want to order a spicy sandwich, extra spicy sandwich or a ghost pepper chicken sandwich)
d. Introduce a new sauce or limited time sauces.
e. Create seasonal coupons during these hard times due to inflation.
Other than that, keep up the fantastic/legendary work! Nothing beats Raising Canes in my book. Not even Citybird.
