While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

LIARS

LIARS. SHADY company and they lie through their teeth. I asked very basic questions that they were unable to answer because no one would get back to me. I sent multiple emails with follow ups and filled out website form. Was patient over a period of at least over a month might have been a couple months or more. Finally, they got back to me when I sent out a NEW email entitled “Is This A Scam Company? There is Zero Customer service.” Apparently that alarmed them enough to actually reply, smugly, assuring me they were a real company (smiley face and all) and not a scam and blah blah blah (no phone number or info though and none of my questions answered!) and they said they replied to me 3 days ago, which they LIED about because I thoroughly searched my inbox, spam folder, and trash folder (which I never empty), and no trace of them or anything them-ish even. So I responded saying I didn’t find any email from them and asked if they could send their response to me in this conversation because I still haven’t had a single question answered, but zero reply. Followed up, waited a week, followed up, waited 2 weeks, etc. This IS a SCAM COMPANY as far as customer service goes. Probably some China company. Well, I just bought a glass soap dispenser for the same or cheaper price from Pottery Barn and it’s amazing. Stop giving your business to shady companies that refuse to offer customer service. This world only gets creepier if we allow it. If the company has no customer service, I will not trust their product because of common sense alone. I have no idea where it’s coming from. I have no idea what went into the materials, etc.

Foaming soap dispenser stopped working after 2.5 months

One of the foaming soap tops stopped working about two weeks after their 60-day warranty. Attempts to reach the company were ignored for several weeks. When I finally heard back, they accused me of "not providing "any explanation, photos, or videos," even though I had provided a clear explanation in my first email.

Update: I was sent the following message from Rail19's customer service representative, claiming that I had not provided a "receipt" or "explanation," both of which I had done in my first email to them, which was ignored:

"You asked how to get a replacement pump in your first message. We responded.

Then you claimed that it should be free. If you walked into Target (our competition) with nothing in your hands, no receipt, no product, no explanation, and asked for a free replacement, what do you think their answer would be?

Somehow you think we're different than any other business, and will just ship you free things with no evidence of the claim? Why do you think that? Are you trying to take advantage of us? What do you suppose we are supposed to do with that message?

Yes, we invite you to go to our competitors with conversations and claims like these.

Good luck."
