Polite, quick, to-the-point. Exactly what I needed to when trying to switch my van insurance between jobs.

In insuring a new Electric Campervan conversion, I had spent literally days on the phone / online seeking quotes through various specialist broker and comparison site routes, only to find that underwriters refused because of the relatively unique van specification, or that premiums quoted were frankly eyewatering!
In the end, QLD came through with the most competitive quote, partly as a result of the persistence with underwriters of the call handler I was lucky enough to speak to. Couldn't have been more helpful or easy to deal with

They have shafted me with previous insurers on an ongoing claiming which insurers have refused to rectify having instructed cowboy builders. I will be taking legal action. Do not use this broker. Their advice, instructions and lack of accountability could potentially cost you thousands. AVOID!!!! PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE.

Quoteline provided me with a very competitive quote which I accepted. They asked for a few more details, which is quite normal, but their online portal only allows you to upload documents and not send a text reply.

I did as requested, via phone and being 13th in the queue, and was told my address wasn’t acceptable!?). Threatened with a 7 day cancellation if I didn’t reply,I told them it was my only address and it was acceptable to the DVLA, my motorcycle insurance policy and every other bill in my name. I emailed them the requested documents direct and had no further replies.

Another message asking me for my previous address which, again, you can’t just type in a reply.

A few days later I had another message comes through (threatening 7 days cancellation again!) to the portal (you have to log into the portal to see it, it doesn’t show up in the email 🤬). Now they wanted proof of no claims.

A few days later, another message, proof of company car, which I don’t have.

I’ve wasted so much time replying to questions with this company, it truly isn’t worth the money I saved moving from my previous insurer. Would never use them again,

Very helpful on telephone, however no 5 stars as still not received paper copy of the insurance documents. This was requested as customer is an elderly gentleman who has no access to internet.

Very extremely helpful very easy. I’ve had a lot of problems with insurance brokers in the past “line direct made it very easy explained everything in a way that I understood as I have dyslexia. I would very much recommend you guys to go with “line direct as they were one of the cheapest Ever found. I was always paying hundreds of pounds a month for insurance. These guys are amazing found me a very, very cheap quote.
