Worst service management ever seen

Worst service management ever seen. Unprofessional and dishonest. They blame you for everything in order to retain your money. The facilities are badly maimtamaid and no one to ask for help. They make clear they don't care. Once you paid, you forget about them. It is a dirty exploitation of immigrants. They don't answer phones neither emails after getting your money. Wherever you see MODORAMO, run away!

Company who only cares about one thing...MONEY

Don't rent here. It's a company who only cares about getting as much money as possible from people.

I Had a room with a lot of mold in my bathroom, broken shower head with very poor waterpressure, disgusting cupboard in the shared kitchen. All of this took almost a month to be fixed and in the fixing my toilet got broken. There is also just one plug in the room in a place were the desk could not be. I'm a student and I need to be at my desk with laptop a lot, I told them but they didn't want to put an extra plug for me.

They never let me know when they would come and I got disturbed and woken up 4 times, for them to come and 'fix' it, which they couldn't just plan to do in one day to disturb me as less as possible.

I asked them for some kind of compensation, but they were not willing to do this, so I still payed 600 euro for a room not being in order for almost a month! They even dared to tell me that they only had 24hrs after the previous tenant left so they didn't have time, which could've been a valid excuse if they would've communicated with me that they would resolve these problems later, but of course they didn't and waited for me to complain about it.

When you owe them money they expect you to do it immediately, but when you ask them things they don't care when to reply and they only reply on what they want to, so don't even bother putting your time in writing a decent email with all your concerns in it.

I also rented with them in the first semester. I had a very simple small room there for 600 euro and it had bedbugs (adress: Rua Sampaio e Pina 58, defintely would not recommend renting a room there), I had to take all my stuff out of my room for 3 times for them to disinfect my room and I had nowhere to take my stuff and they never helped me with it, even though I asked. Also it was a building with 16 rooms, with only one kitchen and some rooms had couples, can you imagine?? Rooms without windows and one room was so small to only fit a single bed for 450 euro (no windows also of course), it's worse then a prison. Their staff knocking on my door in the morning to give me a extra matrasscover without notice and entering my room without me knowing when they would come.

So I definitely DO NOT recommend this company at all!!

Paulo is a literal scam artist

Paulo is a literal scam artist, it is better to be homeless than to live in quarto e quartos. You will never see your deposition again. Water was shut off for more than 24 hours and electricity for more than 72 hours. DONT RENT FROM THESE GUYS

Péssima experiência

Péssima experiência, não recomendo para ninguém. Quartos minúsculos, as fotos enganam, era um apartamento T3 e foi transformado em um T7. A energia elétrica caía a todo momento, não era possível nem ligar o fogão e maquina de lavar ao mesmo tempo. Ameaçam a todo momento com multas por qualquer motivo. Não devolvem o seu caução, inventam motivos para dizer que precisa de reformas no quarto onde você estava. Se tiver mofo mesmo não sendo a culpa do morador você vão ter que pagar a reforma. Os quartos de solteiro não têm janela. Fujam do quartos e quartos, tem opções melhores e com valor justo.
Bad experience, I don't recommend it to anyone. Tiny rooms, the photos are deceiving, it was a T3 apartment and was transformed into a T7. The electricity went out all the time, it was not even possible to turn on the stove and washing machine at the same time. They constantly threaten with fines for any reason. They don't return your deposit, they invent reasons to say that the room where you were staying needs renovations. If there is mold, even if it is not the resident's fault, you will have to pay for the renovation. Single rooms do not have a window. Avoid rooms and rooms, there are better options at fair value.

Positive experience with QeQ - Lisbon - Rue da Guine' property

I have arranged to lease accommodations at Rue da Guine' NoXX. The lease was arranged through another leasing website, there was some lack of communication through that company, but once I was able to speak with Paulo directly we quickly cleared everything up. It was a great help that Paulo is very fluent in English. Paulo even arranged for us to check-in early for a very reasonable daily charge. An employee, "Bruno" (he spoke limited English but DeepL made communication okay), met us at the building for check-in and was quite patient as we reviewed details of the lease contract (an English translation was provided). He then carefully showed us how detailed we needed to be in documenting the condition of the room and it's furnishings prior to moving in (we emailed QeQ 69 photos showing the condition of the room). The room is small but in better condition than we expected. The entire property (with the exception of the refrigerator that was over-stuffed - but that's a residents issue) seemed to be in good condition.
The entire property was reasonably clean and was just as it was represented in the advertisement. So far my experience with QeQ has been positive. We have a 1 year lease and I will plan to update this review to keep it current and useful.

Trust me, they are scammers

Total scam, never returned my deposit.
Harsh treatment at place, no one speaks english.
If you are going to book, trust me trust me, you will regret it.
Scammed me 500 GBP, they dont care, they dont answer you, they just scam you.

I am a student from Germany and came to Lisbon for six months. I booked a room from Quarto e Quartos through Uniplanes and regretted it very much. Quarto e Quartos is absolutely disrespectful and starts threatening you if you want to move out. They pay absolutely no attention to setting up student flatshares, instead randomly throwing people together into purely functional flatshares. There isn't even a communal bin in the kitchen. I couldn't enter the bathroom in my apartment without cleaning products. The bathrooms were disgustingly dirty and toilet paper was not allowed to be thrown into the toilet because the toilet was sometimes blocked for weeks. The toilet paper was collected in a small garbage can, the bin liner was emptied once a week. I didn't get my deposit of €600 back either. Really... If you're doing a semester abroad, rent an Airbnb for the first month and look for an apartment locally. It saves a lot of time and nerves

I have had the worst experience in Lisbon because of this company. The first day I arrived my room was not cleaned. I had to pay the whole month for only staying 6 days, after I paid they threatened to call the police and throw me out. The owner is super aggressive and only cares about money. During my stay the apartment was always disgusting and they did not reply to our email when we asked why the cleaning lady did not come. They also do not return the deposit. Avoid at all costs.

The worst experience ever! Scam and no deposit

The worst experience ever! They cut the electricity and water some days just to kick only one of the tenants that did not wanted to pay! ALL people in the house paid on time but were equally punished. All my stuff in the fridge got wasted. Is so absurd, they are a mafia ruled by the dishonest of Paulo manager! Also, cockroaches all over the place. And they don't do anything about it. Mold everywhere and the way in which they fix it is by painting over it, so disgusting. I lost 550€ because they always keep the deposit. They will always stick to tell you to get a lawyer... and most of people would not do that because will only make them loose more money, they know how to scamm! The worst, I don't know how platforms like Spotahome, Housingeverywhere among others can have landlords like this and after all of these experiences they have not ban them already..

btw, all good reviews are fake and made up by the people that Paulo controls, they would sell their soul for a couple of €, the people of Paulo are brasilians and they scamm brasilians and inmigrants, this is more than low even for these people.

Just Scams

We had a very bad experience with this company with bedbugs warnings in the rooms, refusing to provide us with a certificate of desinfection and refusing to reimburse the money we paid in advance. These guys retained 900 € from us, and almost provoking in the their answers, feeling safe from legal action, knowing how much it costs.
Avoid treating with them.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. Rooms are poorly equipped for winter, their customer service is non-existent (they hang up on you, when you call and don't respond to emails if there is a problem), they come in at any given time and day into the apartment without prior notice. They put military rules in all corners of the house threatening to fine your with high amounts if you don't follow the rules, and are generally either aggressive or passive aggressive in all ways.

They lie and cheat where they can, especially when it comes to paying the deposit back.

They said they will return it the moment I hand over the keys, did not happen. Their office address is fake, they don't have an office there. After calling them again, they blocked my number seemingly. SCAM.

Worst company to rent with

Worst company to rent with. Owner Paulo is rude, intimidating, and racist. The company likes to make random extra charges and does not provide privacy. They come in your room without advising. Have seen the company do horrific things. Do not rent with them.

The worse experience ever

The worse experience ever. My room (info was not in the advert) was outside of the apartment. No additional locks on the door. Kitchen was old and the appliances were falling apart. The pots etc were without handles or falling apart as well. The check in and out process was non existent. I paid for late check in and had to go and pick up my keys from other address. Check out lady came 2 days before and said all is good. She told me I have to wash the sheets by myself - NOTE they are not washing them before you come, if previous tenant did not do it you have a dirty one...
The day of the move out no one came, I was supposed to leave the keys in the room. 6 days after my move out they send me an email that I left huge scratches on the wall and that they are taking all my deposit - 500 euros - to paint the room. The pictures they provided could have been taken in any room plus 6 days after move out they cannot prove that was done by me. They did not give me any bill stated that the painting the room cost so much nor gave me any proof that the painting needs to be made (it could be easily cleaned with one of the magic sponges for 1.6 euro...). They know the process in the court cost more then my deposit so they are absolutely not afraid to take it from you...

The worst landlord I ever had

The worst landlord I ever had! Be aware of fraud.
Payed way too much for a bad room in Lisbon in a shared apartment. Dirty toilets, dirty kitchen, cockroaches everywhere. Not allowed guests or visitors.
Had to pay fees and fines for stupid things. No moving earlier out possible without consequences.
Did not get my deposit back.

You are a student or an immigrant in…

You are a student or an immigrant in Lisbon. Do not live with this company. They are a mafia . They will not give you your guarantee. You will live in problems and threats. The company has no official headquarters. You will lose all your money. They are a mafia.

Our electricity and water they cut off several times. They always threaten you. They enter your rooms without permission and impose unreasonable fees. Go and sleep in the street, and would rather lose your money and health with this bad company

I RAN AWAY AFTER ONE MONTH. They dont follow contract rules. It's a criminal organisation and they never pay back deposits. To nobody!

I had room with mold and no window, ir was impossible to live where, because of the big level of humidity, and I wasn't the only one like that!
Then the man's bathroom clogged, they forced woman to pay also for repair bills. And the best part is, that they didn't allowed to dry clothes on the rack, so everyone should dry clothes in the rooms.

Don't follow the good reviews. It's also airbnb. They write them themselves. And they mainly rip of sfudents and immigrants. All the bad reviews are accurate what multiple people have experienced.

Please be aware!!

I do not recommend to rent here

I do not recommend to rent here. They will try to go around the contract in any way possible. The rent that is on the platform won’t be true and they will put ridiculous amount of bills to it. I personally lived in a room without windows and with mold infestation, common areas are always dirty, if something in the apartment is broken and you didn’t even used it once you will still have to pay for it. Please, considerate before renting because you will face these conditions and you won’t get your deposit back after.

dishonest

dishonest. I requested to book a room in lisbon starting mid october. they say they have one in amadora (different town) for the same price! only it's available from september, so even tho it's sep 12 and you're booking for oct 14, you're paying from sep 1st. dishonest, dishonest, dishonest. the drywall in the half-room has holes, hair and fingernails everywhere, the bathroom is disgusting, and PAULINE thinks I can't read the shade in her eyes! stay away!

BEDBUGS ALL OVER THE ROOM!!
I rented a room in Lisbon for some months but I had to leave the first days because my room was full of bedbugs all over the mattress, walls and even ceiling. I asked them to put some insecticide (which 'they did' but it didn't solve anything) and retire my mattress. I spent two days waiting for my new mattress, which didn't arrive so I didn't have nowhere to sleep.

Also, the direction on the contact info is false! There's nowhere to find them in person.
Still waiting to get at least my deposit back.
