Awful

Awful. Changed the recipe in the chocolates. Triangle now very sweet tasting an had an essence of strawberry. The others were just awful too and now dont taste like they used. Pack size is smaller and more expensive. Won't be buying ever again!

I last tried Quality Street in the 90s

I last tried Quality Street in the 90s, and it’s such a shame to see what it has become. This is a clear example of how greed and profit have completely ruined what was once a highly desirable chocolate box.
Now, every chocolate tastes the same, the chocolate itself is poor quality, and the wrapping looks and feels cheap.
What was once a treat has been stripped of its charm, flavour, and quality. Truly disappointing.

Never tasted such awful “chocolates “

Never tasted such awful “chocolates “ . I’m 50 and we’ve had these at Christmas all my life. They used to be delicious but I can’t even eat them. They don’t even taste like chocolate any more. What a disappointment! The green triangles were my all time favourite. They leave an awful aftertaste now and taste of nothingness

NOT. A sweet in sight....

First time in a few years that someone has bought us this so called 'sweet'. Gone are the days of the tin, flimsy plastic now, the wrapping is absolutely rubbish and actually might taste better than the actual sweet. I'll wager Americans have taken the company over, and it can only go downhill from that mistake lol. The Purple one in particular, does not have an almond, the sizes are tiny, and not one of them taste like chocolate! Palm oil.....Terrible for you, and you should not have to actually eat that crap. I'll never try one again as I actually got sick eating them...... Christmas past has been robbed....
Stay away.

Foul tasting overpriced most…

Foul tasting overpriced most unimpressive purchase this Christmas found an old tin which had 2.2kg of real chocolates in compared to the 550grms of muck you get today ! Almost impossible to stomach a real waste of money! Make them taste like they used to and bring the big tin back too! Regardless of cost !

Dog turds in paper

Dog turds in paper. Not going to bother with the nostalgia claptrap, they're just smaller, more expensive, fowler and a massive disappointment.

I have been buying Quality Street for…

I have been buying Quality Street for 40 years and prior to that had them every Christmas as a child. Never again, stunning but the contents are poor. Loads of the ones no one likes and limited of the best ones - I say limited - try two purple ones in 750g tin. Wrappers are cheap, quality poor, no taste to the coconut and all smaller in size. Not worth the purchase at all.

Quality Street are Rubish

Just tried a quality street sweet, in paper wrapping, in a cardboard box. To match the look of the product they have produced a product that is awful. Last time I will eat the product. Plan to throw them in the waste bin.

Rubbish

Tastes awful, except the coffee creams.

I’ve just opened a tin of Quality Street that I purchased a few weeks ago at John Lewis. It was using their pick and mix, which I also did last year. Both myself and my parents can’t believe how bad they taste. The green triangles have a chemical taste to them and the others are bland. I don’t mind them changing the wrappers, but Nestle have interfered with the recipe too much. Ironically, the coffee creams, which came back last year exclusively to JL and Waitrose, and are also exclusive to them this year, taste great. They weren’t part of the JL pick and mix, so you have to buy them separately in a box.

Not quite as good as they used to taste, but still a damn site better than all the others. Why oh why do foreign companies stick their noses into British companies and then ruin them?

Quality Street needs to have the word “Quality”
removed from the title.

(Lack of) Quality Street

(Lack of) Quality Street. What has Nestle done to these chocolates? They taste different and not in a good way. Greasy taste, lacking chocolate flavour, reduced size and texture of my once favourite chocolates. I will not purchase these again, in fact I wouldn’t even want these given to me free, due to the poor quality.

Nestle rubbish Qualitystreet

Nestle should change Qualitystreets name to Cheap street. Awful, I would rather pay more for quality. Not like they were in days gone by.
Unfortunately everything today is made cheaply, doesn't last and costs more in the long run.

Cheap and Nasty!

Ugly wrappers for the plebs. Sugar is cheap, so lots of sugar, palm fat is cheap, so palm/shea fat instead of cocoa butter. Salt is cheap, for flavour. I ate some, tasteless, over sweet, yuck, I felt guilty for putting such rubbish in my body, and slightly queasy. Nestle, like Mondelez, have cheapened the brands they have bought for maximum profits. Avoid, if you know what's good for you.

Upon opening the plastic box

Upon opening the plastic box. Why not use tin? I found dull boring wrappers . But nostalgia make me buy them, happy memories when I was a child. The chocolate didn't taste nice( Purple one) But not long after eating them I got a blister on the I side of my cheek. I tried again the next day and the same thing happened so now I can't eat them anymore . Whatever is the new ingredient I am allergic to it. So I won't be buying them again.
