Very disappointed with this firm. There seems to be alit if remote working and people not being in the office. Communication is dire

Peace of mind knowing that the Qlaw Conveyancing team were pulling out all the stops, looking after my best interest for my purchase.

To put it bluntly.
QUANTICKS ARE UNPROFESSIONAL The lady dealing with our M&D’s estate went on maternal leave. My brother sent them flowers to say good luck. They sent an e-mail to acknowledge and say thank you. We were shocked and disappointed that our M&D's estate was charged £27.50+VAT for that thank you. They later reimbursed the estate, but we had to ask them to do so. DO NOT USE THEM.
QUANTICKS OVERCHARGE They charged my parent’s estate 1% +VAT for being executors of the will. They also charge for each phone call/e-mail they send and receive. There are 8 beneficiaries. Do the maths. They are milking the estate. Their preferred accountant has charged the estate of £800+VAT to complete a simple IHT calculation. It beggars belief. DO NOT USE THEM.
QUANTICKS ARE VERY VERY SLOW
Mum died over 4 years ago from Covid. It’s a cash estate. They have provided the slowest service you can imagine. DO NOT USE THEM.
QUANTICKS ARE POOR COMMUNICATORS
They did not communicate with us on a regular basis. They blamed other agencies HMRC and their accountants etc. They never admit/accept any blame/liability/responsibility for their tardy service. DO NOT USE THEM
QUANTICKS ARE INCOMPETENT
When my Mum was in a home, we sold the home to pay for her fees. They delayed the sale by not registering the Land. The original request to register land was completed by them using an old internal e-mail. This email was not in use anymore. I only found this out when I chased Land Registry to find out why Quanticks were waiting for a response. Land Registry sent numerous responses. Land Registry sent Quanticks several e-mails, but Quanticks failed to respond. Quanticks blamed Land Registry for their tardy service. DO NOT USE THEM.

When my Mum died, QLAW cashed all Mum's ISA and bank accounts and bonds etc. ALL earning interest within the first week. All these accounts were earning interest at £50k per year. Mum's estate lost a significant amount of interest payments by closing these accounts early. They could have closed these accounts nearer the date of distribution of funds, but they did not. They are complete idiots.In my opinion, they did not act in my parents' best interests. DO NOT USE QLAW

I contacted Clare as she came highly recommended.
Within the same day, she replied to my email. I had sent her an outline of my case and in her reply she had clearly read and understood my situation. Due to her current workload (and my imminent deadline) she was not able to assist me herself, however, she immediately passed me on to someone who was available to help.
I was so impressed with how she responded to my case, and in her long reply back to me, I could feel the empathy and willingness to support me as much as she could.
I have had a poor experience of solicitors in the past, however, Clare has shown me that there are professional firms who care about their customers.

Great experience for the second time with QLaw and Stephanie and team. Seeing other conveyancers, including others in the chain, they really are very organised and attentive.

Do NOT send your hard drive to Pits global data recovery service. Over the phone they told me it would cost from £250 to £800 to recover the data from my dysfunctional hard drive. I had to send £50 consultation fee which also covered the cost of delivery. Two days later they emailed me telling me it would now cost £8,899 a substantial difference, when I told them I couldn't afford to pay that amount they blatantly lied, using false information, trying to make me pay, using bullying tactics. I eventually got my hard drive back in a much worse state then when I sent it. they had broken the case and didn't bother to put it back together, it is also making a bad clicking sound which never happened before, they are not to be trusted. Please research this company carefully, I discovered they offer people discounts if you write a favourable review, scroll down and you will see other disgruntled clients. They are really not to be trusted. Since I posted the review I am now being threatened by the company. I have emails to prove it. I did some more research myself and to my horror I found many customers had experienced the same issues I had. (Yelp) customers on this platform had been scammed and bullied the same way they scammed and harassed me. I have documented evidence of their illegal activity if anyone needs irrefutable, conclusive evidence to prove my experience with pits global data service is trustworthy please contact me.

Stephanie was absolutely exceptional in every regard but in particular communication. It was so reassuring to be able to contact our solicitors so easily. Stephanie provided an excellent service throughout our house purchase and sale of previous property which had numerous complications from other parts of the chain. Every step of the way Stephanie went above and beyond to assist the rest of the chain and myself throughout including providing clear explanations of what was happening at each stage.
