Another great experience
This is the second time we've used Purlfrost film to frost our landing window and the third time overall. We recently had the window replaced and although buying a frosted window was obviously an option and one we went with, in our downstairs toilet - we preferred to go with the temporary option of purlfrost film for the Landing windows. It's completely frosted, we got it cut to size, it lets plenty of light in (I think it's 90% or more) and best of all, it still feels like you have a connection to outside even though you have total privacy. The window we have that came frosted (we wanted total privacy also so it's level 5) you can't see through it at all - so you can't see any colours from outside and it's almost like a light box rather than a window (we're also completely happy with this for the toilet) . For us, Purlfrost is a better option for the Landing windows and one we'd use again. Although it can be removed, it won't come off unless you use lots of soapy water on it so it is a really effective solution and a fraction of the cost of buying a frosted window. Easy to put up. I would say get a spray bottle of soapy water and ideally have someone with you to hold the corners down as you peel and spray the lining. And use the tool that comes with it to smooth out excess water. It's worked a treat every time we've used it.
