Using PureSleep has definitely reduced the snoring issue. However, I still wake up to an empty bed about 25% of the time, as my snoring drives her to another bedroom. It’s not perfect, but until the... See more

Some degree of soreness is normal during the first three or four full nights of use, as you become acclimated to using PureSleep. However if it didn't fit your mouth, there was probably a problem when you fitted it to your mouth and that could cause pain beyond the normal soreness. You may therefore address both problems by repeating the fitting process to make a deeper impression. If that doesn't work, try contacting our customer support department and they can swap your current PureSleep for a new one -- completely free -- so you can repeat the fitting process.

PureSleep opens the upper airway by holding the jaw forward of its normal position. It does so by adhering to the teeth and holding the lower arch a bit further forward than usual, relative to the upper arch. In the process, a modest amount of pressure is applied to teeth, and as your teeth, gums and jaw acclimate to this pressure, most people experience some soreness.

If you’ve ever had braces, it feels exactly like the soreness you experienced every time the orthodontist tightened them. This makes sense because, like PureSleep, your braces were applying new pressure to your teeth, and like braces, this soreness quickly subsides. After three or four full nights of using PureSleep, this soreness should completely subside.

If this soreness during the acclimation process interferes with your ability to sleep, just remove it and repeat the process the next night. In this way, it will take longer than two or three nights to get acclimated, but each night, you'll be able to sleep longer through the night, and in no time at all, you'll be sleeping through the entire night without any soreness at all.

Once you finish acclimating to PureSleep, you can literally forget that you're wearing it. If this does not happen, return your PureSleep for a refund.

Great product!

My husband has been using the Pure Sleep mouth guard for over a year. It’s been a blessing!! I don’t have to leave the room at night, I am sleeping better, no more nudging him at night to stop his snoring, And he is sleeping better!! We will be using this mouth guard for the rest of our lives. Thank you.

For the last few years I’ve always received two mouthpieces in my order. This last order only had one mouthpiece included. I will probably not order again because I didn’t get the second piece

A while ago, we discontinued our "buy one get one" offer. Instead, we email our customers with special promotional offers, allowing them to buy additional PureSleep devices at discounted prices. If you opted out from receiving emails from us, then you may still call our customer support department to place orders and they can still give you the same discount that we offer all repeat customers. Thank you very much for your business!

I've been using PureSleep since 2011

I've been using PureSleep since 2011 (9 years.) It works well for about 4 months then I need a new one. I use dental wax to cover the opening in the front of the guard as it causes me to breath through my mouth and dries out my throat. I wish PureSleep would offer the discount of buy one get one, more often.

I am utterly effing amazed at this product. I felt groggy and guilty EVERY morning, because of my snoring. My love tells me that I no longer snore at night.
It started working the first night I used it. There was no discomfort, no getting it broken in, nothing but sleep.
FANTASTIC damn product.
Please take the illiteracy of the one star reviews in to consideration. Do what you need to, in order to get the fit right, then enjoy the sleep.
GREAT damn job, lads!!

Agreat alternative to wearing a CPAP

This product is a great alternative to using a CPAP machine (which I could not tolerate). There are some medical restrictions, but if none of these apply to you, then closely follow the product's set up instructions. If you don't it will be uncomfortable. However, on my second attempt (several years later) I did and those who know say that my loud snoring is gone. I can now sleep 5-6 hours in a row without waking up and feel refreshed each new day. There is still a getting used to with each wearing, generally a 15 minute "settling-in" period as my teeth and jaw adjust to a "fixed" position. After this, I fall asleep and when I awake, I often don't notice I'm still wearing the device.
