Delivery is too slow

Delivery is too slow. For a company that sells daily lifestyle and fitness products 10 days is too long (for any online business in fact). The fact you have to pay £5 for delivery as well makes it worse. Since their re brand you cant use any discount codes so the products are extremely expensive. I don't understand the subscription service either. The porridge I buy has 21 servings and they will only deliver monthly meaning i'd be without it for a week (or longer if delivery continues like this). The products are great and I use these every day to maintain consistency. I've been using this brand since 2017 but something has changed recently. From looking at companies house, Protein World Ltd was wound up in Aug 2023 being taken over by Good Guru. Perhaps this is the change but doesn't seem to be a good one so far!

Followed procedure to cancel…

Followed procedure to cancel subscription via email. Completely ignored and they tried to send delivery. I had to go through my bank to cancel the subscription. Customer service non existent. Seems like a total scam

Never will buy again from PW.

I’ve been buying from PW for years. But I will not ever buy from them again. Charge £5 on all orders for postage and the delivery takes over a week. I contacted their customer services once to explain my usual powder tasted very chemical. No response received. I thought I’d give them one more go, big mistake. Over a week passed from my order so I emailed PW and asked for my order to be cancelled as it still wasn’t showing as shipped. Again, no response, tried again, no response. A day later, my order magically appears as shipped. I emailed PW again and asked why my order hadn’t been cancelled. Again - you guessed it - no response. Atrocious customer service for a loyal customer. Never again and I’d strongly recommend staying clear. I’ve since discovered far better providers with great customer service.

Terrible

Terrible. I don’t understand what has happened to this company?! Used to be great. Why the customer service is non existing. I don’t get it my order was never shipped. I tried to email, send message on facebook, on website chat- no reply ever. So my money is gone and no one will reply

I did not receive my order due to a mistake they made on the invoice which generate a additional cost which is much higher than the total cost of my order.
I've been trying to contact them for a week in vain.

Late delivery, no customer service, horrendously sweet product

Ordered previously and had no issues, re ordered 5 days ago with 1-2 day delivery. Order status is still only at the “order placed” status and no further update. No chat option available customer service doesn’t reply. Terrible service. Will await my products if they ever arrive.
From looking at other reviews this looks like a common issue and the company has gone massively down hill..

Received much later than expected, the porridge taste like pure sugar and is awful to eat. The slender blend banana arrived with a slit in the bottom of the bag where something had pictured it and product was all over the parcel box, it is so so sweet and very hard to drink due to the sweetness! waste of money. Customer service is none existent so waste of time trying to complain about the damaged item.

Very poor experience

Very poor experience on the website. Had a code for 40% off and when you subscribe monthly your get it for cheaper. I was planning monthly subscribing to save a little bit money. It said the products were out of stock. However when you chose the plan that wasn't monthly subscription which was more expensive it magicaly became in stock!! All about money money money so in the end the discount wasn't really helpful!!

Severe nausea and bad stomach everytime

I don't know what it is with this protein but everytime I drink the recommended amount it makes me have severe nausea and a bad stomach. I've swapped to a different brand and I'm no longer having these issue's. Something in the ingredients definitely doesn't agree with me. Not sure if anyone else has had this issue, but I just wanted to share mine.

Avoid this company in its current faze of debarkle!

Avoid this company in its current faze of absolute debarkle. Save your time and effort ordering through their non Apple friendly website that takes an age to get to where you want on their website because at every click you are being asked to resubmit your account details and password! Ordered my product and despite emailing three times, a week after requesting an update on delivery- was then sent an email to say we are refunding you and cancelling your order…and your money will take 10days to be back with you. That is a total of 3 weeks from order placed to still not having my money back! Customer service is non existent so good luck getting a response! Avoid and save your hard earned money and time. Too much stress…

Excellent service, fast delivery, good quality products, I have tried other protein shakes, but always come back to protein world for my favourite vanilla frappe. Nothing comes close. 😋

I've used Protein World products for a…

I've used Protein World products for a couple of years and the customer service was usually fine, other than a number of order mess-ups. However, recently they seemed to have fallen off the side of a cliff. I placed an order last week, still haven't received it and nobody is responding to my emails or web chats.
Have they gone out of business but taken my money??
Going to avoid using them in the future as they clearly are operating properly.
