Very expensive and very rude, based in Dublin and pretending to be local, when in reality they'll contact a local tradesman to do the job on their behalf

Called what appeared to be a local plumbing company and turned out to be this company.
Charged £264 for a 15 mins job.
Local plumber quoted me half price but as I unknowingly used this service, they charged 50% more.
Appalling and sneaky

Please be very careful with this place. I initially contacted a plumbing service called Elliot Emergency plumbers. I thought they were a local plumber. I was told it would be 180 pounds. However within the hour of booking, i decided to cancel. Then I was put through to this company which seems to be a large call centre . I was basically shouted at over the phone and forcing me to keep it or pay! I never gave any bank details so I told them I simply like to cancel. This company seems to be scam service. Basically try to get people to pay extortionate prices. Please be careful and don't book any appointments with them.

Absolutely disgusting company and people. Called out for shower not working called me saying £180 would be cost of call out, I said can you send me this on message or to my email so I can understand fully what this involves & what I am paying for. Then I will say yes go ahead or no. No message received they sent engineer without my consent told me that £180 was due and that the part was a further cost and a labour charge. Costing more than a new shower. Total rip off now I receive calls constantly harassing me telling me to pay £180 TOTAL RIPP OFF STAY CLEAR. They are a disgrace to the industry. Need striking off. STAY CLEAR .

Rang because my toilet started leaking, was told someone could come within an hour with a likely charge of £180. I agreed but then looked online to see terrible reviews and suggestions that this was too much to pay. I received a WhatsApp from the engineer and within 5 mins cancelled the booking. Since then I’ve received no less than 7 calls from different numbers complaining at me for cancelling, trying to bully me into still using them and being told that the engineer would be at my house within 10 mins … very silly of them to drive for an hour to my house after I cancelled 5 mins after booking!

I phoned this company for an electrician and I was promised that one would arrive in 30 minutes to an hour. Two hours later they told me that they had no one available and I was on my own. Absolutely appalling, and I can see from the other reviews here that a lot of people have had the same experience. Avoid at all costs!

Only use if you want to pay an extortionate price. They charge by the hour and that includes going to get parts….

My tub tap broke at 2100. I was told that help would come in 30 minutes. I called an hour later and got the news that the plumber’s van broke down. That’s convenient! If I didn’t have made the call again, I wondered if they’d follow up.
The area manager rang me and said to arrange the visit in the morning. The technician came on time and a tap being installed.
The charge was hourly plus the new parts, not what the person said over phone was £180, not everything included.

Were initially given an hr as a time, a call 30 mins later to save they’d be with us no later than 2.30pm… it’s nearly 4pm and nothing. We didn’t call a plumber for the fun - we have a leak that needs fixing and we have had to turn the water off so can’t even use the bathroom. When I chased I got lame responses. We found alternative and should work out cheaper too.

This company are scammers they charged you different things and their technicians will charge you something else .. pls don’t work with them .. I was charged £180 and made to pay £400 .. I called the company and no one is picking up ..They are fraudulent

This company quoted me 180 pounds for a electric safety certificate for my 2 bedroomed apartment. They send an independent electrician who stayed over 2 hours and charged me 620 pounds, telling me that its an hourly rate and not a set fee. I called this company back but they would not hear me out and said that they had told me it was hourly rate, which they did not. Keep away from these people!

Wish I looked at all the reviews first before booking them in. Terrible

This company sent me what I can only describe as two Cowboys on a bank holiday Monday as my hot water stopped running due to a stopcock error. I was told the fee was £264 including parts when the two Plumer got here they told me that they would try and pull the air out with the system using my own Hoover. I may add which they blew up Then telling me they would have to go and get from a different van they were gone 40 minutes then came back to tell me they haven’t got the part. Came down from my boiler 20 minutes later and said they’ve got the water running they have taken all of the inserts out of the stopcock, so the water can now not be turned off They charged me for two hours labour £538 no indication of when they would be back with the part to fix it correctly for £538. He’s only *#*# Wotk to be expected nothing so I contacted the company direct and told them I wasn’t happy. I wanted reimbursing all the job completed correctly and safely and I wanted my hoover replaced, we are now three days into waiting for the Plumer who are completely ignoring me to come and put this job right and safe the company. Just keep telling me they’ve contacted the Plumer totally shrugging or responsibilities and the fact that they told me this was a £238 fee not 538 which I paid on the day if you want my advice , well clear of this company

This company and their supposed professionals are just scamsters. They have charge me £396 to put a radiator on a wall. No repressurising the boiler and left the house without hot water and heating. I will be reporting them to trading standards.

They sent a plumber who said he would return the following week to do the work and took a card payment of £144. He never returned and when I managed to get hold of him he gave me a cock and bill story and said he would contact me in a couple of days. Never heard from him again. The "company" didn't care and when I asked for my money back they kept saying they would refer it to their management. I found a plumber myself who has done the work but that that was over £300 so could really do with a refund as I'm 63 and have to work two days before I make £144

Complete rip off. Used private mobile number under the name Alan Smith 24 hr Plumber. Work was done to a good standard, but over £500 for a simple hours work to replace a small section of copper pipe!

My disabled friend googled a plumber to get quote to fit new toilet. The company are called jack plumber h24. They railroaded him to have the job done on that day. I intervened and told them that their services no longer needed. I gave them the call out fee and they insisted they were owed 3 hours work as the job had started. I told them to leave- he tried to get in flat. Very intimidating. I called police and reported to trading standards and HMRC. Avoid at all costs.

I wanted a local electrician so I looked on the web. This company got my attention as it offered local tradesmen. I phoned and a foreign sounding gentleman answered. He told me that it would cost £180 all in. I booked an electrician who carried out the job. The electrician said that I needed a special socket and it would be another £53.70. As it turns out with this business is that the money quoted is for labour only, all materials is extra. The total cost far exceeded what I would call reasonable. How many times I contacted the company (and the phone calls were a premium rate), I didn’t get a straight answer. So please stay clear of this company. They are SCAMMERS.

They are a scam and use genuine sounding companies with bot reviews to cover up their true intent.

If you’re reading this and have arranged a plumber or something similar cancel immediately and refuse to pay a penny, they’ll try and for you to pay but don’t back down it’s all a front and you don’t have to pay anything.

The MOST horrendous company please do not go near them. We tried to get a plumber through them and I got a weird feeling from the interaction, so decided to cancel and go with someone more well known / trustworthy. They called me back after trying to cancel THREE TIMES and demanded that I pay a cancellation fee of £140, even though I was never told and this was well in advance. They said the plumber had “already been dispatched” which made no sense? They then proceeded to call my partner and demand the same thing, this time for £70. This woman was SHOUTING at us, and come across VERY intimidating and will try to pressure you, but do not fall for it if you are already at the point where you’ve contacted them. I threatened them with the police due to the level of harassment, which is why I received a message saying “ We inform you that you are not obliged to pay a call-out fee. We apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused you. Best regards”. I can imagine if you’re at the point where a plumber has been called out and in your house, it would have been much more intimidating. They made us feel as though someone was going to turn up and essentially not leave until being paid, even though we had got the problem fixed elsewhere. The worst experience I have ever had with a service, so please for your own sake avoid at all costs.
