This company is great. They are always on the end of the phone. I've asked so many dumb questions as I am new to this but they were all answered with clear and precise tact. I had dealings with Mark, Vicki and Paul and i am grateful for all of their help. They were only let down by the third parties they used, i.e. Royal Mail who took 5 days to deliver a 48hr tracked item, the number plate manufacturer who took 4 days to deliver the plates and forgot to include the fixing kit i paid for and the DVLA who after 5 days have still failed to deliver the new V5. All of the problems were beyond the control of private number plates, its just a pity they are being let down. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone.

After searching the web for a suitable plate for my daughter, I came across this site and they were a pleasure to deal with paul was very helpful and patient with me as it was my first time looking at a Plate, once I paid for it, all the paperwork was done for me and had the new plate in the car for my daughter within a week thank you very much to Paul and I’ll not hesitate to use again.

This company acts illegally. They will sell you a plate that they or the seller of the the so called plate have no ‘legal right’ to sell.

They then settle the finance agreement (which they receive commission off of) after telling you they can’t sell you the plate as they never done any due diligence that they legally could sell the number plate, the seller wanted to sell.

Refuse to speak to me on the phone, lied about contacting the seller and can’t get hold of them. Take days and days to finally refund you your deposit and then think that everything is fine. After settling a finance agreement in my name for a product I never received.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Save yourself the time and money and the hassle with dealing with such a back street, fraudulent firm with no customer service skills. Legal advice has been sought out after such a terrible experience and fraudulent activity.

I cannot praise this company high enough, their attention to detail and communication was second to none, having purchased a private plate previously from elsewhere and getting good service I didn’t think this could be beaten… i was wrong it could and was… the little things, checks and queries with an absolute can do attitude and desire to put the customer at the top of the list particularly in distance sales was a breath of fresh air. Thank you for making the whole process particularly dealing with the government bureaucracy of the DVLA so I didn’t have to a breeze… in the theme of Spinal Tap you go up to Eleven!!

I've just bought two private regs plates through private-number-plates.co.uk, and I was kept informed all the way through the process and regularly updated.
