Rip off

Rip off, they charged me £500 for one wheel bearing and one tyre. Rang another garage and they said it would be 350/400 tops and even that's a high price.
Avoid.

Both daughters at university in Leeds

Both daughters at university in Leeds , once again at short notice phoned Jason. He squeezed my daughters Peugeot 107 in as exhaust was blowing. Diagnosed / back box replaced and the thing I really liked - topped up engine oil etc. both daughters have had MOT,s and repairs here - very happy.

Cost us £3,000 to scrap the engine

In June 2021 we sent our Classic Mini to Princess Garage to work on the engine and gearbox as it was running incorrectly, this work cost £2,800.00. Less than 1000 miles later we have had the gearbox rebuilt again at a different garage at a cost of £730.00. After the gearbox was rebuilt the mechanic noticed there was low oil pressure in the engine. We have subsequently had the entire engine removed, fully dismantled and forensically examined by another Classic Mini mechanic who informed us that virtually the entire engine now needs replacing. This work is going to cost another £5,000.00 to £6,000.00.
So we spent £2,800.00 with Princess Garage to repair the engine and gearbox of our classic Mini - less then 1000 miles later the engine is now scrap and needs replacing.
Everything above is factual and we have a video report of the state of the engine as it was taken out.

I'll let you make your own minds up.

We had a bad experience at this garage

We had a bad experience at this garage. I gave my car for mot and service .

MOT wasn’t pass so they did service only without informing us and charging a lot of money and advice to scrap my car which is working fine . Poor service , did nothing and charge a lot also treated very funny as they know they are in fault.
Never go again ......poor staff

Excellent business

As a student and fairly new to the area finding a reliable local garage isn't the easiest task.
My exhaust went so no way I could drive my car home to fix it, so after a google I found Princess Garage, local, always have business (I walk past most mornings) and good reviews. I rang up and the squeezed me in, all the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the price quoted was more than reasonable. Wouldn't hesitate to go back should I need work doing to my car whilst in Leeds!
