I hired this company to steam clean and regret that they did
I hired this company to steam clean and seal my block paving and patio for £600.
Before I agreed to the work, I specifically asked about weeds. I was told with complete confidence that weeds would not grow back for at least **5 years**. The technician even phoned the office during our conversation to confirm this with his manager, and I was reassured that they had been doing this work for over 20 years.
Unfortunately, weeds started appearing again within **2 days** of the work being completed.
I also questioned whether the joints between the block paving should be re-sanded before sealing, as this is a common maintenance practice. I was told that sand is no longer used, that it causes weeds and ants, and that only the sealant was needed. That explanation left me unconvinced.
When I received the receipt, the 5-year assurance that had persuaded me to proceed was not recorded.
I appreciate that no treatment can guarantee a completely weed-free driveway forever, but that is not what I was told. I relied on a very clear and confident verbal assurance that simply did not match my experience.
This review reflects my own experience so that others can make an informed decision about this company. They are very convincing so be mindful. Knowing what i know now, i wont pay more than £50 for it
