I was having an extension done on my property and required 4-panel bi-fold doors with integrated internal blinds. Based on a friend’s recommendation, I contacted Price-Rite Windows (Paragon Glass Services Ltd).
The salesperson, Ravi, visited and quoted for the bi-fold doors, taking initial measurements. He specifically requested that I call him back for final measurements once the floors and walls were completed – which I did. He returned to remeasure before the doors went into production.
However, on the day of installation (done by subcontractors, not Price-Rite Windows), it became clear that the frames were too tall for the opening. The installers had to knock down a layer of bricks to make them fit, which left the internal floor higher than the door frame. I had to hire a builder at extra cost to lower the floor by 2–3 inches.
As for the internal blinds, the sliders constantly come off and don’t function as expected. When I contacted Ravi, he denied any fault, claiming the dimensions were correct and even told me the sliders need to be opened “slowly” – hardly acceptable for a new installation.
Despite repeated attempts to reach the company – including direct conversations with the owner, Mr. Chaudhry – no one took responsibility, and the issue was never resolved. It’s been over a year, and I’ve still received no solution or support.
Adding to my concerns, their website claims that they are FENSA registered, yet after checking with FENSA, I found that they are not.
At this point, I’ve given up. I strongly advise avoiding this company at all costs – they have been unprofessional, unreliable, and unwilling to fix their mistakes.
