Avoid PMV at all costs!

On the day of collection, the garage contacted me (just before I set off from Huddersfield - an hour away) to say that the log book had been misplaced and as such I would have to buy a new one BEFORE I collected the car. I agreed to this and paid for the new log book straight away so that I could legally drive the car home, of which PMV said they would send me a cheque to cover this cost (which I am still yet to recieve three months later despite chasing this up).

Upon getting the car back to Huddersfield, fluid was leaking from the bonet when the car was left idle. I then had to take the car to my local garage to have the coolant header tank and cap replaced. These were broken and were causing the car to overheat, so these had to be replaced in order to make the car fit to drive.

Having had the car for three months, I went to have the back tires changed at my local garage and found out that we had been sold the car without a spare wheel. Considering PMV said that the car had been serviced and valetted before I paid for it, it is once again hugely disappointing to find that the car has been sold to me in a condition that is not fit to drive. Despite contacting the garage several times regarding these various matters, my messages have been received and not replied to.

As a newly qualified driver, this is my first car and has been a terrible and difficult first car purchase. Financially, this has cost me more that it would've to have got a newer car without these issues. I would not recommend PMV, and I definitely will not be purchasing from this garage again.

Awful experience!

My cousin bought a car from here and they over charged him. Not only that, there were actually a few problems with it too that cost a pretty penny to sort out. We asked them to fix it but they said they didn’t have time which we thought was downright disrespectful when they sold it in that state. Not to be trusted!

Stay Clear!!! Do not buy.

Bought a car and had issues a few days later, of course these cowboys went from smiles and handshakes to being hard to get hold of and unwilling to discuss anything. Sold a faulty car and of course will not take it back. Stay well clear.

Picked up a vehicle from here that was…

Picked up a vehicle from here that was falsely advertised as having heated seats and would be valeted when it did not have any heated seats and the car was obviously not valleted to any sort of satisfactory standard. The dealer also told me face to face that it would have a full valet and that the car would be serviced. The car had sticky sweets stuck to the rear seat and in the door wells, had random debris in the compartments and had dirty seats that had not been cleaned in the slightest, the boot had clumps of hay inside and was full of other debris and dog hair. As for servicing the vehicle, of which it has the dealer stamp in the service book, it had a minging air filter inside, the oil filter has not been changed and the power steering fluid is under the minimum markings. It possibly had a oil change, but it is hard to tell. I don't believe it has though. The car itself is also missing the rear middle seat belt and the buckle it clamps into. The under compartment of the boot was full of so much dirt it had literally sealed stuck down and did not release the springs to open the compartment for the spare wheel. Which luckily I did not need, which I could have as it has had the same advisory on the front tyre for its last 3 MOTs. The vehicle was also provided to me on the fuel light and was practically empty. Trying to contact the dealer over these issues has resulted in them telling me the advertisement issues were the fault of auto trader, that he did do a valet but he is a member of the service team not a professional cleaner and if I like I can claim a free valet from themselves if I am ever in that area ( 40+ miles ) again. I wouldn't buy a toy car from again never mind another vehicle.
