Recent stay
I stayed at the Stourbridge Town Centre Premier Inn this Wednesday. The room was clean and comfortable and above all the staff very kindly found and returned my ring to me after I had left and realised I'd left it in the room. The location is a little fiddly if you're not familiar with the area, but once you know it's easy enough.

I have repeatedly stayed at the Premier Inn situated in Bury (outside Manchester)
The rooms are as any other in the chain - reasonable value
However - the real reason I stay here is the staff - they are brilliant and a shining light - whilst all the staff are welcoming and friendly a special mention must be made regarding Joanne and Sianha - they are always bright and bubbly, welcoming and always have a friendly word with everyone whilst giving excellent customer service - they are a valuable asset and reflect positively on Premier Inn.
Long may they stay as part of the team there!!

Outstanding Service by Christina
I would like to express my sincere appreciation for Christina, who welcomed us at the Premier Inn Wimbledon London on 10 June.
After a long journey, we arrived slightly earlier than the official check-in time and was experiencing significant discomfort due to a painful heel. I was really hoping simply to rest, and Christina immediately picked up on my situation with remarkable sensitivity.
Without hesitation, she went above and beyond by contacting her housekeeping colleague to arrange a quiet room for me as quickly as possible so I could rest comfortably. Her efficiency and initiative in that moment made a real difference and eased my discomfort straight away.
Throughout the process, Christina remained both warm and friendly while also being highly professional. She took the time to clearly explain all the important details about the room, hotel facilities, parking arrangements, surrounding area, and breakfast timings, ensuring we felt fully informed and well looked after.
Her kindness, attentiveness, and calm efficiency turned what could have been a difficult start to the stay into a genuinely reassuring and positive experience. It is rare to encounter someone who combines such empathy with such professionalism so naturally.
Christina is a real credit to the team, and her excellent customer care made our stay memorable for all the right reasons. She absolutely deserves recognition for her outstanding service.
Wonderful Receptionist
My husband stayed at the Premier Inn Leicester Forest East and had a problem checking in as I had made the booking and there was some confusion.
The receptionist Sharna helped with the issue and dealt with it professionally and friendly.
She is a credit to your organisation.
Thank you Sharna
Worse premier inn
One towel in room for 2 people. Went down to the bar and ordered nachos,a. Worse watching,s I've ever had. Cold crisps chucked on a plate with a white and red dip. No melted cheese. Smallest tv iv ever seen in a public bar. Struggled to see it from our seat. Wee barman was lovely though.wimbledon premier inn.
Disappointing
n arrival staff friendly and seamless check in. On entering the room it had an awful stench the stat the temp was showing over 32 degrees window shut.
We opened the window and switched on tbe fan provided in the room (this was not a heatwave day) the room temperature did not drop below 27 degrees all night. Very uncomfortable. I went to reception to advise but they said all the air con rooms were fully booked.
The second bed Im also had some ants on it not many maybe 4-5 to which my daughter lifted the duvet and shook them off.
We generally always tend to stay in premier inns when travelling as you always know what you get and if any problems very rare but premier inn are good at resolving.
When I raised Im with guest relations they contradicted what the hotel reception staff told us that the rooms with air con were booked whereas guest relations are advising there is no air con at all at the hotel so not sure who is getting wires crossed here!
In relation to the ants I went to reception twice to ask for a hoover but no staff to be seen as such this just added to the uncomfortable night as the kids felt itchy and didn’t want to sleep.
Generally clean hotel, friendly staff, the reception isn’t easily identifiable. Potentially just a bad experience due to heat and ants which made for a bad night otherwise it would be fine i assume
Great Location
Great location within walking distance of Princess street. Stayed in the Hub at Haymarket. Quiet location. Only negatives was one of the lifts was out of order and bed had a 13.5 tog duvet in the middle of summer!! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay again .

Absolutely shocking guest relations
Absolutely shocking guest relations, NEVER, EVER WOULD I STAY IN ANY PREMIER INN AGAIN
Rats and 31,5 degrees at Premier Inn
My stay was at Basingstoke West. Room temperature 31,5 degrees. No air conditioning only a noisy fan. Didn’t sleep of course. Outside in the eating area the tables were filthy. I enjoyed my food in the company of Rats who were feeding off the rubbish left behind. Worse if all It’s apparently impossible to get into contact with Premier. So I will try the council instead as rats in a public eating area is just not on! Premier Never again, disgusting
Would leave zero stars if I could
Would leave zero stars if I could - appalling treatment of a British veteran with no compassion for disability when providing feedback on issues with room.
My partner and I stayed at the Premier Inn in Kettering and had a room for somebody with mobility issues / disability booked. The room was spacious and there was a wet room. So far so good.
The rest was just horrible with a bed that was not suitable for somebody with a spinal injury or in a wheelchair. The shower in the bathroom was broken so that water rushed out of the hosepipe and the shower head. We had booked our breakfast the night before only to be told in the morning that they had run out of food and so no breakfast was available.
Staff at reception desk were nice but only referred us to customer service to complain after the fact which we did with two emails full of "I appreciate, I appreciate, sorry sorry but after reviewing it is what it is..." That's simply not good enough as somebody else who is, like my partner, in pain and cannot sleep and therefore cannot continue their journey as planned, might now go through the same terrible experience.
A refund would have been appropriate but it seems that a British veteran with a spinal injury from line of duty is only worth being treated like a third class citizen. Appalling!
Almost always GREAT!
I really enjoy premier inns, always a good experience and you can find them pretty much anywhere!
Premier inn at Warrington East must be…
Premier inn at Warrington East must be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in …. Staff are hopeless and takes 2 people to book people in. That’s after they tell you that they can’t search a reservation by name and make you search you emails for booking reference
They then ask if you would like to book a table for dinner … I asked can I come back later and confirm… they said they really need to know now because it might get busy …. I asked what times are free …. They said anytime you want … lost for words
Oh and the cheep skates don’t put duvets on beds just one sheet and I had to go and ask where it was … they said we don’t put in the rooms but if you need one I can get you one !!
Pathetic restaurant rules
Lady nairne advertising a lunch menu. Get to hotel and not so clean man behind counter joyfully refuses food saying nothing from kitchen till after 5pm. It’s currently 15:45. Menus showing times of opening are not true and deliberately misleading or it could be an uneducated and under qualified excuse of a manager that closes a restaurant and advertises it as open. Anyways, this would never have happened at a holiday inn. Just goes to show that premier in name only.
North Shore Scarborough
We booked 2 rooms to see Billy Ocean at Scarborough Open Air Theatre. Hotel is well located, Scarborough North Shore just a 10 min walk to the theatre and 15 from the sea front for my old legs! Ground floor room was easily accessible, I personally don't like the low bed or disabled wetroom shower, but understand it supports disabled access. Check in before 3pm costs £15 extra - wish I had booked that as by the time I realised it was far too hot for me out it was 1pm and not worth the charge. But really, in this day and age, paying £185 per night single occupancy surely you could allow earlier access if the room is ready? Many people were turned away, even after 2pm! Restaurant closes after breakfast and doesn't open again til 5pm. Couldn't you offer a scone, toasted teacake, soup and roll, some type of light, easy to prep bite for those who have travelled and are hungry, instead of directing to the local Tesco? And the 5pm opening - this is hard to make work if you are going to see a show, if it opened at 4pm there's a better chance to fit in an early evening meal, take advantage of the meal deal and still have time to see the support act. We booked the restaurant for 5pm. Big shout out to Chef Jay. He was under immense pressure working alone, trying to get good quality food out in record time and working in the terrible heat of the kitchen during this heatwave. What a nice guy. Customers went directly to him to chase up desserts as the server was difficult to pin down, not on his game, half clearing tables and missing service calls which added to Chefs pressure. Yet amid all of this Jay remained happy, polite and positive. It won't be long until he's gone if the business doesn't recognise the bottle neck of a 5pm opening time during high season, and the stressful environment being operated. Would I stay again? Yes. It's such a good location for the theatre. But lack of room access, lack of afternoon food availability, and pressure of eating before the show, which a lot of guests were attending, would have made this so much more better value for money.
Camborne cheaper than Penzance
Camborne was cheaper than Penzance, so we stayed there. Room was OK, clean and functional, but the window didn't open, and Air Con was very inefficient and noisy. Result? A pretty bad night's sleep on the Friday, but better on the Saturday. But the canteen / restaurant? Zero marks. It was quite evident that Senior Management had not hired enough staff, and so they were rushed off their feet. Some oik quite unnecessarily took a staff member to task, and created a lot of bad feeling. The bacon, eggs, plates and spoons took an age to arrive, and the tables were very sticky after wiping down. I do not blame the staff for all this - they were working their socks off - but the greed, carelessness and stupidity of Senior Management indicate just how far Premier Inns have slipped in their standards. We will NOT be using them again.
I have stayed at the premier inn
I have stayed at the premier inn , Great park , rubery in several occasions and would like to say how wonderful the staff have been. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are always so cheerful and welcoming . On arrival we were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived . The staff cleaning and replenishing rooms were amazing . It is clean tidy and the staff make your stay just that little more enjoyable .
Thank you , we will most definitely be coming back.
A great Premier Inn
Stratford London is the best Premier Inn that my husband and I have booked and we have stayed in many! We had tickets for the ABBA voyage show. This hotel is within walking distance of the arena and next door to a wonderful shopping and restaurant complex. For additional comfort, we reserved a premier plus room and were not disappointed. The extras that are included are great and worth the small extra cost. The aircon was most welcome as we were on the 10th floor. The hotel is kept very clean throughout and all the staff are very efficient and friendly. We feel that we must give a special mention to Jennifer who works at this hotel. She went above and beyond to make guests comfortable and helped us several times during our stay. She is a real credit to the hotel. We shall definitely stay here again during to the great location. We highly recommend this hotel.
Not the worst but not the best
Stayed in many Premier Inns in the UK over the years & found little fault. Worst was Manchester Heaton Park we stayed during a heatwave & the air con wasn't working - gave us a fan to blow the hot air around the room. 2am & it was 29 degrees! Complained citing their 'good night's sleep guarantee' to be told that hotel had no air con therefore the guarantee was void so no refund! There was absolutely air con they just won't switch it on...
Other than this I've always found them reasonable with mainly convenient locations, quiet nights (even in London City Centre in one of their Hub hotels) & okay prices. Separately we purchased firm pillows plus a thin & thick duvet from their website - the best ever! Bought during a sale as would not pay full price.
