Disappointing Post Sale Customer Service

Our initial experience with Winstanleys Pramworld was excellent, which makes our recent after-sales experience particularly disappointing.
We purchased the Out n About Nipper Compact Front Rider Bundle in August. When the second part of the bundle arrived, we found that the front rider kit supplied appeared to be for a Nipper V5/V6, rather than the attachment for the Nipper Compact. It doesn’t fit our Compact, and the attachment is also described differently on Winstanleys’ own website.
We contacted customer service expecting this to be resolved fairly easily. Unfortunately, our experience with Kat was extremely frustrating. Despite explaining several times that the attachment did not fit our Nipper Compact, we were repeatedly told that it was compatible and that the issue was essentially “user error.”
What was most disappointing was the way our concerns were handled. Rather than investigating whether the wrong item had been supplied, we felt that we were being blamed for not knowing how to use the product. When my husband explained that repeatedly trying to make an incompatible attachment work was wasting our time and becoming very frustrating, the conversation deteriorated further. We were spoken over and ultimately threatened with the call being ended.
We weren’t asking for anything unreasonable — we simply wanted the correct attachment for the product we purchased and for our concern to be properly listened to.
It’s a real shame because we had such a positive first experience with Winstanleys. Unfortunately, after-sales service is just as important as the initial sale, particularly when purchasing expensive baby equipment.
I hope this is taken as constructive feedback and that the company reviews both the product supplied and how customer concerns are handled.

Incredibly helpful staff, who are very knowledgeable and provide you with all the information that you probably don't know you need.
We bought the Nuna Mixx, and after months of it being on storage with Winstanleys, we thought we had made a mistake. They said we could visit again, look at the Nuna again and any alternatives. Turned out we make the right choice, but having the option to change our mind made it less stressful.
