Mouse poison £192.00.

I have a mouse problem. Having tried to solve the issue myself, without much success, I decided to inlist some expert assistance. I contacted PPC Environmental Ltd. They told me their charges were £192.00 which consisted of two visits from their representative. I really wanted to be rid of the mice and I didn't feel that poisoning them was a humane method. Much better to stop them entering my property in the first place. So, I agreed to pay PPC Environmental Ltd, £192.00 for their solution. I am on a state pension, so paying so much money was a considered decision, but I wanted rid of the mice. Their representative arrived and walked around the outside of the house, pointing out that I had taken as many precautions as he would have recommended. (For instance, covers for the air-bricks.) He then laid poison grain and pasta for the mice to eat and said he would be back in 9 days to check on the results. BIG DEAL! PPC Environmental Ltd were now going to charge me £192.00 for doing what I was already doing, that was costing me the price of proprietry mouse poison (About £2.00). I asked did they not use the tracking dust, which I had read about, which allowed someone, with the correct equipment, to trace where the mice were gaining entrance. I was told that they did not use that method. So, I am now worse off to the tune of nearly £200 quid AND I still have a mouse problem.
