I would like to mention my experience…

I would like to mention my experience with this company and you can make up your own minds
Bought two RX I remote trolleys in February 2023. One for my nephew who is disabled with cerepal palsy. Within 60 days my nephews trolley was replaced due to electrical issues as it = just set off on its own, this was caught on the clubs CCTV. He was in the clubhouses and the trolley set off on its own.
Within months mine did exactly the same and was returned to Powakaddy who stated they would repair it, after a few weeks the trolley was on its way back to them with the same fault. Since then the trolley has set off on its own and ended up in a brook and luckily did not fall in the water as was supported by a branch.
Yet again I have had to send the trolley back to them due to electrical issues.
I have lost confidence in this product, what would happen if the trolley took off and caused damage to a third party. Don’t think Powakaddy would pay as they wouldn’t even cover trolley hire when mine was being repaired.I have requested a replacement as the faults have occurred whilst under warranty and awaiting a decision before I decide on my next course of action.

The reply shows the trolley has been returned on two occasions of which they have not resolved the issue.
Jury out on the third attempt.

Having investigated we can see that the trolley has been inspected on three occasions regarding the issue of it setting off on its own. This was most recently done last week when your trolley was with us for repair. We have yet to find software issue experienced by your nephew.

Rotary power dial on 4 year old FX3 suddenly missing ( no idea how or where but very surprised).
PK sent new part free of charge immediately.

I was in the market for an electric…

I was in the market for an electric trolley. After much research and deliberation, Powakaddy came out on top for my needs. Any questions I had were answered with ease by both sales and technical advice.

I ended up buying the CT10 which I have to say is a decent, sturdy bit of kit, easy to fold down and put up.

The 3.5 portrait screen makes looking at the holes easier and gives me a clear picture of where I'm hitting, ok, it hasn't improved my game but is that really Powakaddys fault!!? You can lead a horse to water and all that! :)

Something to note, to get the full hole view on this trolley you need to update the courses you play at via the app in the Advanced Hole View tab, it doesn't come preloaded, but as there are 40,000 courses I really would not expect Powakaddy to be able to do that as the storage would need to be imense and that cost would need to be passed on, so 5 minutes downloading my courses is perfect.

All in all a great bit of kit and a great company to deal with.

Excellent Customer Service

My FX5 trolley developed a fault where the rhs rear wheel kept coming off. This was due to the securing chamfer in the connecting mechanism wearing away. I took pictures and sent these to PowakKaddy , with a description. Within 24hrs they had contacted me and despatched a complete new wheel, which I received less than a week after it became defective. Well Done All.

Bought FW7s trolley a few years ago I…

Bought FW7s trolley a few years ago I have had nothing but trouble with Screen misting up and becoming U/S.
Had 3 new handles and several new circuit boards fitted at my expense and still the problems reoccurred
Understand now that Powakaddy have discontinued this Model
Poor quality made in China
DO NOT BUY this trolley

Powakaddy products really bad

Powakaddy products really bad, shabby components been used, to the point one of the reps suggested a person should never use ur trolley out of the fairway, got the rt1 for 1750 and all I'll say is what a ripp off for the quality of product. Pictures and videos to come about shabby parts and software crashes. I have spent a lot of money over the last 35 years playing golf and have never felt so ripped off more than this. Eventually after months PK are sending a replacement part i have to fit and pay for the import charges, if you value warranties and a quality product powakaddy is one to steer clear of.

Excellent Customer Service

Last Tuesday I contacted Powakaddy to see if I could purchase a replacement brake unit for my Micra push cart trolley, having scoured the internet, ebay etc, without luck.
Not only did they send me a unit completely free of charge, but it was courier delivered, and arrived less than 24 hours after my initial enquiry!
What an Excellent service, cannot praise the company high enough.

highly recommend the Powakaddy organisation

Hi,
I bought as Powakaddy CT8 golf buggy about 18 months ago for use in NSW, Australia. It is perfect for the job that it does – it’s an electric golf buggy with built in GPS, light weight, stable, easy to setup, etc.
I have had two problems with the unit and both were fixed very promptly by a fantastic warranty and support service.
We were on the road for one of the events, where the battery/motor developed a problem and wouldn’t “drive” the unit. I worked with the local Drummond golf shop to diagnose the problem, they contacted Powakaddy and parts were shipped overnight to country Victoria.
The next event was a degraded on/off button. Again, Powakaddy shipped parts to me overnight-, and the parts switched over very easily.
It is always good to read positive product reviews but reviews of post sales support are very supportive of one’s purchasing decision.
I highly recommend the Powakaddy organisation for the post-sales support.

Excellent Service 10/10

The help I received when reporting my fault with my CT8 powakaddy was really impressive from start to finish. The agent was curteous and helpful and guided me through the process of what they would do and the timeframe in which it would happen. The collection, repair, and return were extremely prompt. The fantastic service exceeded all my expectations. Well done Powakaddy and thank you 10/10 - David Huw James, Bridgend, South Wales.

I have a 4 year old FX3

I have a 4 year old FX3. Two months ago, the display just stopped working, completely blank. Contacted local repair guy. He was very helpful but diagnosed that I would need a new handle unit. Cost £120. Paid up.
Three weeks ago the whole electronic system packed up including the new display. No display and no power
to the wheels.
Contacted the same repair guy. He was in the area so called at my home. Diagnosed the electrics control unit had packed up and showed me where it had burnt out. Fitted a new control unit different model and tested. Now working.
Checked battery and found no issues with i
Cost £90 plus vat.
So ive now spent £200 on repairing a trolley that cost £500 and has been very lightly used.
I wont be buying any more Powakaddy electric trolleys.
I got really good service from the repair shop and his price was very reasonable considering what he did. My complaint is the fact that that these parts failed after a reasonably short time and light usage. The fact that the replacement control unit was a upgraded version tells me that the original one was a substandard one.

My powakaddy battery exploded while being charged last week luckily I was there otherwise my apartment would have been completely destroyed I contacted powakaddy head office but will not take any responsibility for it so I would be very careful when charging these batteries I will be seeking legal advice on this matter

Exceptional customer service!

I cannot praise this team more highly. My trolley control button failed (either 0 or 9!) and James of the tech team sorted not only that but checked the whole trolley over replacing several parts that were not working to his exacting standards (scratch on screen, noisy transport). I dropped it off at 15.00 on Monday and James rang me at 10.00 on Tuesday to collect. My sincere thanks to him and the tech team and admiration for customer service of the highest order.

Cracked screen CT Pk seemed to be crack in screen protector!

I got a crack in the screen the third time i used the new CT8-GPS. I have no idea how it happend. I had to order a completely new handle with integrated screen (€370,00!) and got it installed. The cracked screen i took home. Found out later that the GPS on the new part was not working and they had to order a new one. The next handle worked ok this time. After some time i found out that the cracked screen was not cracked but it was in fact a screen protector which was installed in the factory! Found out that all CT8 and CT6 screens have a screen protectors installed! That is excellent of course but there was no need for a new handle in the first place. Not even the distributor was aware of this so most customers are probably also not aware. Probably the damage on your screen might not be that expensive after all.

Powakaddy FX5 = POOR

VERY DISAPPOINTING.
Bought the Powakaddy FX5 trolley at the end of 2020 for £699.99. The battery life is good but that's where the good things end. Any slight incline and the trolley falls over backwards,
even with a heavy tour bag. THEN IN MAY 2024 I WAS CAUGHT IN A SHOWER SND THE TROLLEY GOT WET. THE SCREEN SHOWED SIGNS THAT IT WASN'T WATER TIGHT AND THEN THE SCREEN FLICKERED & WENT OFF TO NEVER COME ON AGAIN. TROLLEY STILL WORKS BUT CANNOT SEE ANY FEEDBACK (BATTERY LIFE, SPEED SETTING ETC.) & CANNOT USE AUTO DISTANCE FEATURE. CONTACTED POWAKADDY & TOLD IT WAS WEAR AND TEAR.
VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
BUY MOTACADDY, IT WILL LAST MORE THAN 3 1/2 YEARS.

I had a problem with my battery (it would not turn off) PK arranged at no cost for a courier to collect the battery,tested it and then emailed me to inform me that it was faulty,it was still under warentee so they have forwarded me a replacement all within 7 working days.Fantastic service and I was kept updated all through the process.

Great customer service

I called customer service regarding my Thermamitts not working. Some discussion pointed me in the direction of a missing extension cable which had been lost (apparently this cable has an inbuilt component to enable the mitts to function). The gentleman immediately said he’d (this time) send out a replacement cable. Excellent service!

My Powakaddy Electric Trolley stopped working. I was worried it was out of Warranty. Thankfully, it wasn’t and Powakaddy Customer Support responded superbly. I could not have asked for a better service. A large Box was delivered; I loaded the trolley and it was then picked up and returned within 10 days.
