Been going to potters for many years…

Been going to potters for many years now, I love mark brewer and his team but I must admit I prefer five lakes and the hotel rooms,if you have not tried them yet give them a go,we are going again in July

Family 40th birthday weekend

All the staff to numerous to mention were happy in their work and happy to help with anything needed.
The various activities we participated in were well organised.
The 9 hole pitch and put was greatly improved a few greens still need slight attention.
The evening entertainment was good as always and it was good to be allowed to dance in the main theatre after the show.
One slight negative was the decrease in available table tennis tables perhaps a few could be placed outside under a shelter ?

Friendly staff and value for money

Firstly the staff can’t do enough for you and are very helpful. Also they are very hardworking and always cleaning.
We are actually new to Potters having previously frequented another adult only holiday venue. We’ve both decided that Potters is far superior. We’ve even joint the Friends Club and the offers are value for money but the cancellation offers are even better.
I’m pleased to say “Potters you’re stuck with us now”.

Went to potters at Hopton on sea at Easter for three nights with my wife, son ,and granddaughter. What a fantastic time we had. The staff in the restaurant and bars are some of the best I have been served by. The program is full and always something to do. The shows are some of the best I have seen. Keep up the great work to everyone that makes Potters Great

What a fantastic weekend at this all inclusive resort. Staff are amazing nothing is too much trouble. Soo many activities and fun quizzes all say long, we had trouble fitting it all in. The food was plentiful and delicious. Best night sleep on holiday, on very comfortable beds. The evening theatre company shows in the evenings were totally awesome ,as good as in the West end.! Potters has to be the very best holiday…

Potters has to be the very best holiday resort in the UK. The locations are great but the staff are the jewels in the crown. The staff are magnificent and I mean every member we had contact with. Reception staff are the most helpful and friendly lot I have very interacted with. Have we ever had an issue to resolve and the answer is yes. However on the twice I had reason to ask for a solution it was provided instantly. Never have I encountered instant positive solutions than at Potters. The restaurant staff are simply more than you could ask for. They are amazing. Friendly, chatty, helpful and willing to ensure your experience is positive. Bar staff also friendly and helpful. Some of the younger members could use some experience but all in all they will develop over time. Now the entertainment is way above anything you are likely to have experienced anywhere in UK or overseas and the only way to prove that is to experience it for yourself. The evening shows are worthy of any London or New York experience they are simply the best you can find. Daytime activities are great and if you like quizzes and singing you will be in Potters heaven. Nearly forgot the food which is superb as is the selection. Do I have any advice and my answer is yes, bring some elastic waist clothing. Have fun.

our favourite holiday destination

Even though we live quite close to Potters Five lakes we love going there, because its all inclusive you only need money if you play bingo, there are so many activities during the day too, the theatre shows are west End standard, its just like being on cruise

Our 4 th time at Potters

Our 4 th time at Potters . Hopton-on-Sea.
What an amazing place .
We always visit on the family breaks ,although no children with us ,it’s wonderful watching the youngsters helping with the entertainment.
Nighttime entertainment in the theatre is definitely
West end standard.
The fact that it is all inclusive makes the stay even
better .
Such a wide variety of tasty food on the menu ,all
beautifully cooked and presented .
We had a superb ,efficient and fun waitress called Mel.
We all had great banter with her ,she was so good considering there was 10 of us .
We stayed in a premium room in the hotel .
The room was spotless ,spacious and the bed very comfortable .
It would be impossible to be bored at
Potters as there is so much going on in the main entertainment area and in the grounds .
Roll on next year when we will all meet up again ,and visit this amazing place .

Fabulous stay at Hopton with just a couple of small negatives

We were at Hopton over the easter holidays, just my husband and me (he’s retired, but I work in a school). I know we could have gone to FL, but we both prefer Hopton. First time there since 2022 and had a great week all round.

The food was exceptional. David was our waiter all week and he was great, so helpful and friendly. We stayed in a hotel deluxe room which was fabulous and I had the best night sleep in those beds.

On the second day we were in the steam room at the Palms. Bearing in mind that you could hardly see each other in there, we were chatting away to a couple of blokes, talking generally about Potters and what was on offer there. Making an assumption, I said “so you two are just in here escaping the kids for a while”. “No” they said “we work here – part of the entertainment team”. I’m then peering through the steam and it’s only Jack and James, (I recognised Jack, but not James). Anyway, lovely guys, thanks for letting me put my foot in it!

The evening entertainment was spectacular, apart from the visiting artists “Duchess”. We didn’t like them, “screeching” was how I described it (and I heard that comment from someone else as well). Lots of people walked out unfortunately (us included). However, if we hadn’t done that we would not then have met the wonderful Kath in the Garden Bar. She has been coming to Hopton for 60 years, since she was 10 years old. It was so interesting to chat with her, she was full of interesting information and anecdotes.

The weather was great all week which helped a lot, especially with all of the outdoor activities. We did loads, and I channelled my inner child, going on the inflatable assault course and also doing the bungee trampoline. We did some great walks in the sunshine along the sea front, discovered our competitive side in the air rifles and found out that shuffleboard is strangely addictive.

A great week all round, all of the staff there are so friendly and helpful – they really make your holiday.

The only tiny negative is that Potters really need to get rid of the shower curtains in the bathroom! - they are horrible and you spend the whole time trying to avoid them!

Wonderful family experience

Our whole family: ourselves, our children and their partners and all our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed our Easter stay at Potters Hopton-on-Sea. They catered for all our many interests: ages ranging from 17-72, that’s some going!!

The bungalows were extremely comfortable and very well maintained as were all the facilities. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, they were simply amazing and a big part of Potters’ success.

We’ll definitely be returning!

A real tonic!

We totally switched off from everything, and just embraced the beautiful resort and fantastic team of staff. Just what we needed, and it was a real treat to be so well looked after. We’ve joined the Friends Club and have already rebooked. Well done Potters. You are doing a grand job! Thank you for everything.

Absolutely Brilliant Holiday

We have been a few times now to Potters, we just love it. The accommodation is very comfortable, even in the basic rooms there is everything you need. All inclusive buffet style meals and drinks good selection of drinks are available. The entertainment is absolutely brilliant. During the day there is so much to choose from, actually choosing what your going to do is the hardest bit! There is so much choice. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. I even got a lift from my car to the reception whilst booking in, nothing is any trouble.

A very nice relaxing break at Potters Five Lakes Resort

We had a very nice relaxing break enjoying the atmosphere that Potters Five Lakes Resort has to offer 24/7
Always friendly and helpful staff, great food and superb entertainment as usual.
Activities to choose from always keep you busy and entertained if you wish to take part or just watch.
We will look to go back again later in the year for our 6th visit, not a lot compared to many of the other guests that we have spoken too.
Don’t take our word for it, give is a go and remember it’s All- Inclusive too.

Excellent resort from start to finish

We've just got home from our 1st time at Potters Hopton on Sea and are sad to be home. We just had tooo much fun. Loved it from start to finish.
So for any newbies our potives are:
Activies, just so many to enjoy you'll need longer or a return to do it all.
Food the choices every night are good you will always find something you enjoy 4 meals.
Drinks great from fab coffee, milkshakes to alcohol.
Entertainment all day and night fabulous the shows at night are like going to a west end show.
Rooms, I can only state on the hotel room we stayed in which we could have held our own disco in it was huge. Well cleaned and comfy.
Staff amazing always happy to help from our cleaner Claire to our waiter during meals Kym. Ethan, Leah who even remembered our drink orders and many more who unfortunately we can't remember all there names but each fabulous at there job.
Hairdresser top notch.
Negatives. Were our room was, was a bit of a walk. My husband is in a wheelchair for long walks and there was quite a few slopes to get up to the main part of the entertainment and resturant. As he's on the bigger size it was a bit of a struggle but nothing that couldn't be achieved and well worth the effort.
The shower has quite a lip to get over so ask for a room for a disabled person. None of this was the Potters fault but ours we thought it looked okay.
I saw people complain the food wasn't hot enough we found it was fine maybe not boiling hot like home but acceptable. Again personally we didn't like the table lay out. We were near the self service which was great but we had to disturb people when arriving and leaving due to the wheelchair. On the plus all the quests where brilliant opening doors and waiting till we were sorted. It helped to make it feel lease intrusive.
The Negatives were more our fault for thinking we'd be fine so just ask.
The staff are amazing and will help to see you get what you need. We found this out when we booked for our 2nd visit in August which will be to Five Lakes.
Now before anyone kicks off we have spent time in 5 plus star hotels aboard with up to 7 resturants etc this holiday even without the sun out did those holidays.

Fabulous in every way.…

We go several times a year to either sites and thoroughly enjoy every visit. From all the staff, the activities, the quizzes, the fantastic meals 4 times a day, West End quality shows every night and of course all the free drinks as well we cannot fault it. Definitely a 5* holiday.

Next Potters break 8 days time.

My wife and I have had yet another stay at Potters. We appreciated the evening show updates and the all inclusive food , drink and activities. We took part in the bowls week with ex-world champion Andy Thomson which we thoroughly enjoyed.
We have booked up again just 8 days time. We are both looking forward to it ,our 12th break at Potters.
My wife and I have also introduced Potters to 6 friends, 4 of which made a return visit just a month later .
