Absolute joke
Absolute joke. Wanted £25 to post an item to a UK address from the UK or £15 to collect it! Absolute scam. Stansted airport should be ashamed of themselves being linked to this company as simply haven’t done their due diligence.
I know a money grab when I see 1
I know a money grab when I see 1.
Took my perfume, I paid, for some reason the transaction never when through, £40 and now theyre saying my item is gone
They charge £5 for safe keeping for up…
They charge £5 for safe keeping for up to two days and £25 for 30 days. Beyond that it is confiscated.
Horribly expensive service that catches people unawares of the silly weight restrictions unnecessarily imposed by London airports on passengers. Other countries have dispensed with these restrictions. Post and Fly then benefits enormously from the left behind and uncollected items. In my case I lost a sealed cream tub that cost me £12.50. Left there for me to collect in three weeks will cost me £20. Why the hell is this? Safe keeping a cream tub will cost me so much? It is a bad service and the less people use it the better
IT JUST GOT BETTER BUT They thought it was my job to sort out their problems!!
UPDATE - 20/10/25 - My goodness, I actually got my lost item back through the post so I've uprated my review to four stars! See below for the rest of the story and why the review started off as 'No Stars'...
UPDATE - 14/10/25 THINGS ARE GETTING BETTER! Went to their website this morning and my package that was missing the other day at Stansted has 'magically' now appeared on their system!
Problem now is that I'm not at Stansted, but have paid to have the item delivered to me at home, and paid an excess insurance for non delivery just in case the system is mistaken.
How the missing item suddenly turned up in the system several days late I'll leave to your imagination - if it's pro-active management on site then thanks!
I'll bump my stars to 4 or 5 if the item arrives at my home with no further issues.....
THIS REVIEW STARTED HERE - 13/10/25
'Jury's out' for the moment, but suspect they'll return with a 'Guilty as Charged' verdict soon - here's why.....
I stupidly went through security at Stansted on Thursday 9th Oct with a Victorinox Multitool in my bag (I'd been camping the week before and had forgotten it was in there).
The security agent helpfully bagged it in a 'Post & Fly' bag and gave me the numbered tear-off strip to redeem at the Post & Fly desk on my return to Stansted two days later (the desk is less than 100Metres from the security section in the same terminal!). What a GOOD IDEA!
When I arrived to pick up the item with my numbered slip the assistant (a courteous young lady) could find no entry in their systems for the number on the slip, and nothing in their storerooms matching my item.
Then the even worse news was that they apparently expected me to contact security at Stansted (try doing that then!!) to ask them where it went!!!!!
After 20 minutes discussing the topic of 'responsibilities' the assistant summoned her supervisor who told me all I could do was "contact security" (Aaaaaaaargh!).
I suggested forcefully that their business model meant they had a business relationship with security at Stansted and that it was, without doubt, their responsibility to chase up items (their 'stock-in-trade) that had gone missing in what is part of their own business process. In essence, the moment the item is put in one of their bags it becomes their responsibility to track, collect and return it when requested. There should be a part of their process that monitors which numbered bags have been issued to security, and audits which have been used and entered to their system and which ones remains unused at security. This way they can tell if items have 'gone missing'. It is patently NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY to contact their 'supplier' (in this case, Stansted Airport security).
I saw the Item being bagged and put by security in a box in a cupboard for collection by Post & Fly later. Post & Fly claim, with no justification, that they must have never have received it from security, yet refuse to follow it up with security despite my being able to identify precisely which security desk took it from me and bagged it.
The suspicious amongst us would suspect that it has been stolen rather than lost, at which stage I would have expected Post & Fly to be anxious to talk to Security and review their own processes as each time this happens, if it was never handed over by security, Post and Fly lose revenue and get bad press like this. For whatever reason and at whatever stage it failed to get entered to the Post & Fly system, it is in their interest to investigate who seems to think that the items entrusted to their safe keeping (which is what their service amounts to) can be 'lifted' at will as if from some God given smörgåsbord provided by hapless travellers. (it might pay them to ask themselves at which part of the process all goods go through a single part of the handling process (i.e. - probably retrieval and entry to their own systems) and are thus more 'vulnerable...
To demonstrate how important this is to them, the ticket with my number on it was returned to me along with a manager's scribbled illegible email address (to get rid of me) so I can waste another hour in half-duplex email communications, and to give you an idea of how much is going to be done following my visit to the desk they didn't even ask for my contact details (!!!) so even if they were to look and find my item (ha!) they can't contact me to tell me they have it!
Any guesses as to what happens next?
Cannot believe I got back my items…
Cannot believe I got back my items today damaged. I bought 2 water guns that wernt allowed on my travel picked them up today to find out. One of them has been intentionally damaged by the staff who handled my product. There's no way of getting in contact apart from going to the airport.

Very pleased with the service I received. Was quoted a price and although not happy having to pay to receive the jam I had confiscated at the airport, the service worked perfectly. I was told the time I would receive it and it arrived securely and well wrapped and on time. Very pleased.
I was astonished to learn that shipping…
I was astonished to learn that shipping a small bottle of ink (only 110 mL) from Stansted Airport to Manchester would cost me £24. This is absolutely ludicrous. The Stansted airport leadership as well as the company decision makers should be ashamed of themselves to charge as exorbitantly and unreasonably as this. I would say this is robbery.
Besides, it is similarly unreasonable and unfair to limit the shipment to certain countries and not cover the majority of countries outside Europe! I was told by the security staff at Stansted that they are happy to ship it to my home country in the Middle East. Well, when I arrived, I found out that my country is not on the list. This is flagrant deception. What a terrible, unethical customer service!
Daylight robbery
It's no surprise that my most expensive item was poached from the shipment. They charge an arm and a leg for a policy that they have intentionally set, I will never fly with Ryan Air again. It will be my first and last time.
Do not bother to use this service just…
Do not bother to use this service just a complete waste of money.
They delivered the wrong item and could not be bothered to rectify and blamed others (which are part of the same group as themselves)
Total waste of money and very poor service.
Been waiting 14 days for parcel to get…
Been waiting 14 days for parcel to get logged in no success phoned them twice they said they would look for parcel no success again then was told to contact lost property why should I they are the ones who have lost parcel an utter disgrace. of a company I’m beginning to think they are waiting for the 30 days to elapse and then they can forget about parcel.
My item was never registered
My item was never registered, might as well have been taken away by security. How sad that without their service people would jsut accept they would not get their item back, but because they give you the expectation that you can their service is terrible.
BEWARE USING POST & FLY
BEWARE: POST & FLY at airport is VERY EXPENSIVE & POOR SERVICE if you use them to send your items abroad ! No tracking info available beyond UK. Took 8 days for the item to arrive in Italy and then sat there for a further 10 days before someone got in touch that they needed some more personal information.
Then they make up a value for the items, even if they are your used private property. The italian courier (DHL Express) advised me that there was another £58.72 in duty to pay for items that originally cost me £65 plus £57.50 to send. Could only pay driver IN CASH; who has 72 cents in cash these days .... ADVICE: unless the items are valuable or essential BIN THEM at the airport of have them SEND TO UK address.
unscrupulous service
unscrupulous service. Profiting from seized items at airports and then charging high prices taking advantage of imposed rules by the government. How do you call this Banking?
I’m so disgusted by this people and the airport actually using this service. What a clear sign of corruption.
