Life-Threatening Negligence and Gas Leak. First Repair Fails Immediately!
I am filing a formal complaint against Portaal for gross negligence. This weekend, the chronically poor service and communication reached an absolutely dangerous low.
On Sunday, November 23, I discovered a life-threatening gas leak in my apartment in Soest. Due to severe dizziness and choking symptoms, I immediately evacuated the property and called Portaal's emergency line.
Shocking Emergency Response:
I was forced to wait for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours for a technician.
The technician could communicate in neither Dutch nor English, making communication about the severity of the situation impossible.
He confirmed the gas leak, replaced a metal ring, and guaranteed the problem was "one hundred percent" resolved.
This assurance proved to be false. Within hours, that same night, the gas leak recurred with a much higher intensity, putting my life in direct danger. Portaal's negligence in sending a competent, communicating professional has exposed me to severe health risks. The situation is NOT yet resolved.
