More news

More news. Contacted Citizens Advice to ask if we could get any form of redress against Plastivan for the poor quality fencing we purchased from a local supplier. The answer was no. As the fencing was installed by a third party, any issues had to be resolved with them. We pointed out all of the remedial work etc that the installer has carried out to try and stop the expansion of the fence and that we believe their is an issue with the materials not with the installation. Alas upon sending several emails to Plastivan asking them to take another look, they washed their hands of it and said it was an installation issue. So the moral of our story is, please beware of where and from whom you are considering getting your composite materials from. Because if you purchase it through/via your installer and it goes wrong, then nobody wants to help and you could end up paying thousands of pounds like us only to end up with a product that is not fit for purpose. A total disgrace that companies like Plastivan can fleece people for so much money but when it goes horribly wrong cannot be held partly/wholly responsible and Trading Standards cannot/will not even establish if their is some kind of manufacturing issue.

600mm acoustic panels.

Thus company makes the sulcado acoustic panels and within their instructions it clearly says "install the finishing trim" (this is the 600mm wide panels) yet they don't make one... So you have to try and finish the panels off yourself. Not very good @£90 a panel
Especially when the instructions say to fit the finishing strip!!
I would say buy from a different manufacturer
