My engineer was excellent , explanatory and provided very helpful information. Not a foot wrong. It would have been 5*s if I’d received a call telling me who was coming and when - as promised when I... See more

After raising a formal complaint, the company maintained that a £156 charge was justified for a visit lasting approximately 25 minutes. According to the engineer's own report, no repairs, dismantling or alterations were undertaken. I queried what specific diagnostic procedures were performed to reach the conclusion that the thermostatic cartridge had failed, but this was never directly answered. I also requested details of an ADR provider after reviewing the company's terms and conditions, but was informed that no such provider details were available. Customers can make their own assessment as to whether this represents value for money.

They booked my indoor window Aircon glass cutting which was explained twice to them. on the day they did not contact me - I had to call them 3 times and finally they said they could not do the job. This is poor as they wasted my full morning, did not inform me - I had to chase them. They charged me £144 advance. no refund still after 16 days. offered 10% off ! what about my time. they would have charged me to cancel. big company with no failure process or interest if they cancel last minute without a valid reason. Very disappointing attitude. have to now dispute the payment with my credit card company . more time waste for me . Today they again said some internal issue so no refund for another 5 days. why should I have to chase them. Please be careful if you give deposits and they dont show up. you will probably have to claim refund from your credit card company or wait a month .

You have to hand it to Pimlico - they are good. Very fast and efficient. Just pretend the bill is happening to someone else! Actually I don’t even know if they cost more - bills for everything seem to be twice what they were 5 minutes ago.

Plumber was over an hour late.
did not bring the right tools.
did not do the job.
had to call an engineer afterwards as recommended by the plumber. the engineer confirmed that the plumber should have easily fixed the issue.
Complained to customer service. They called back, were rude, patronising, and flat our wrong. Said that I would never use Pimlico plumbers again. She did not care.
Do not use this company. Much better ones out there.

Basically, a brilliant company, despite being more expensive than most. They are professional, efficient and act immediately in an emergency.

I used this company to repair a damaged balcony door closer. An engineer attended and carried out a temporary repair, and a permanent replacement was recommended separately and quoted as an additional cost.
The repair initially restored basic function but failed after approximately two months, leaving the door difficult to use again.
There is a clear disagreement regarding what was communicated during the visit about the expected durability and limitations of the temporary repair versus what is stated in the written report, which was issued after the work was completed.
I also experienced missed arranged follow-up visits where the engineer did not attend without notice.
When I raised concerns, the company maintained that the repair was temporary and not guaranteed, and that any permanent solution would be chargeable.
Overall, I am disappointed with both the durability of the repair and how the issue was handled afterwards, and I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Daniel was on time, polite, got stuck into the issues and gave some good advice and ideas on solutions.

All customer service representatives were very helpful on the phone when booking and scheduling the appointment. The actual technician that was sent, though, did not fix the problem with our bathroom extractor fan; refused to listen when I tried to explain the issue to him; and simply insisted that everything was fine. He left without doing anything to the device and without addressing my concerns. I feel he was not actually qualified to address HVAC issues (despite my request for such an expert when making the booking).

I have used Pimlico Plumbers twice before and each time was billed for two to three hours and I was very happy with the work. However, this time, I was caught by surprise by a final cost of about £1,500 for what to me looked like a routine job. The work involved replacing a leaking push-fit soil stack branch and was discussed in advance as approximately a half-day job. The final invoice was for 8 hours and parts were much more expensive than I was expecting.
I would strongly recommend reading the terms and conditions in the confirmation email carefully before agreeing to work. Also, be aware that all time from arrival to departure is potentially chargeable. In my case that included two 45 minute parts trips and a 30 minutes rain break.
A few things I wish I had been clearer about in advance:
• Time spent sourcing parts is chargeable, including multiple trips if required.
• Administrative time at the end of the job is included in the overall billable duration.
• Records of the position of the van can delineate chargeable time, hence work starts as soon as the van arrives
• Parts may be more expensive than retail prices from suppliers online.

Pimlico Plumbers excelled themselves on this last visit. From the initial phone call, where my request was understood immediately, to getting an extremely competent plumber on site within a very short time, I have only praise for every aspect of the service. I highly commend the outstanding individuals I was fortunate enough to deal with.

Contracted pimlico to do work on wardrobes and pleased with results. Ryan Saad - very professional, nor rushing through the project, paying attention to detail. Very reliable and highly recommended.

Dale is just a phone call away. He is professional and always excellent at what he does for us. Wouldn’t want anyone else; he has stood by us no matter what we need.

Gary fixed my leaking kitchen tap which was seized up with limescale. Arrived well within time allocation. So pleased not to see the constant drip. Thank you

Despite a fee being charged to even receive a quote, the roofer arrived without appropriate materials as though he didnt know what to expect. The initial work carried out on the problem area was never going to solve the issue and in addition was botched, unsightly and amateurish.
After my complaint to Pimlico he did return and make improvements using more appropriate materials, but the whole approach to the work was unprofessional.
The cost of the work was very expensive, but I hoped by paying a Pimlico premium I would receive a professional service but can see no benefit in having done so.

Easy way to organise the time engineer can come over. Always polite and informative..my go to house issues. Not the cheapest but comes with guarantee which is worth paying tiny bit extra for.

An electrical socket had blown on my ground floor. I was worried about my fridge freezer would start thawing as I had no idea how long the electricity had gone. I called Pimlico Plumbers around 18:30 and was promised that an electrician would arrive by 20:00. The engineer arrived at 19:45. Anel who was so friendly and reassuring, instantly set to work. He checked every socket on the ground floor and even the garden. Surprise, surprise. It was the socket in the garden that had blown. He also noted that there were a couple of sockets in my kitchen which would need replacing. I have no hesitation in booking him for the job.
