Poor Quality and Zero Customer Service

My wife purchased an Orbit Y2 Watch Winder for me at the end of November 2023 and presented it to me on Christmas Day. There was no guarantee nor any instructions, but I figured it out from the information on their website. One of the LEDs didn't work so I contacted their customer support to be told it was out of the 14 day ()yes 14 day) guarantee period, but as a gesture of goodwill, they'd give me $50 towards the repair if I could find someone to do it - I didn't bother.

A couple of days ago, the inside cage fell off and I was unable to reassemble it because I didn't have all the washers and sleeves needed (they're tiny and had disappeared somewhere!). I again contacted Customer Support to ask if they could send me some and they replied very quickly with *Sorry, we don't sell spare parts. Thank you for understanding" - Note the poor English.

Needless to say, I will never purchase anything from this company again and I strongly recommend you don't.

Do not purchase absolute scam

Do not purchase absolute scam! These products are not Swiss made and do not come from Geneva they are cheap China copies. It works but will see how long for but looks nothing like it should. Do not waste any of your money on this / go to a shop and buy one. They changed wording on website once I queried it saying sale items can’t returned. I didn’t bother going through bank , lesson learnt to go with gut instinct. DO NOT make same mistake as I did.

Product looked good - cheap China product instead.

Product looked good - claimed to be hand made in Europe.

The product arrived broken, with less features than advertised (perpetual motor motion instead of pause-loop) and the watch holders don't fit any of my watches.

Simply a terrible product, arrived to me from China with what seems to be a $20 product. I have since found a similar looking product on Alibaba for $60 AUD. For something that cost 599 EUR, these people need to go to jail.

This company is a joke and very rude - especially Judith.

Stay away from these fraudsters.

Do not buy! Poor quality products, non responsive after purchase

Marketed as a European brand, it is very deceiving. I purchased the Astronomia X1. The poor quality shows from the packaging quality to the finishing of the accessories ie the watch holder. Do not buy from this company! No response to my email for a refund, but was very responsive when I was inquiring to make the purchase. They have a clear refund policy but obviously it is a marketing gimmick to make the sale. There are no contact details except for an email address.

I was fortunate enough to win a product…

I was fortunate enough to win a product of this company in a competition namely: an Astronomia X1 watch winder valued at 399 Euros. But after a week of use it developed faults squeaking then jumping and making a horrible grinding noise. I didn't want to embarras the person I won it off so reached out to Piguet and son hoping a reputable company might see my dilemma/position and respond positively. But no such response came, when I tried to engage with them further they ignored my emails to the point I wasn't even getting a generic reply so they possibly blocked me. I emailed them again from a different email address and got the generic reply we will contact you in 24 to 48 hours but again no contact. I then suggested to them that I may give my story and the product to a You Tube reviewer that was willing to run the piece, but I wanted to give them a final opportunity to discuss the problem with me as I didn't see me not paying for the item diminished its value in any way. This did get a response but not a very pleasant one. Their actual words were: We strongly advise you not to disrespect our brand" And "This is our final email. I did send one more email saying I wasn't intimidated by them but again didn't get the generic response so I guessed my other email address was blocked too. I should add the item was originally given free to a You Tuber to review and promote for them and they said it was a test model. Would you send anything but your best product to be reviewed and promoted on a live social media platform? This company doesn't have a contact phone number or address I could find on their Web site or indeed anywhere on the Internet. It doesn't have any name or contact details for senior management either. The only way to contact them is the one customer service email, which they choose to ignore as you can see from other reviews too. There are different ways to do business, which would you prefer to deal with?

This company is a con

This company is a con! I bought a watchwinder for £355, it arrived defective. It just won't turn on. I emailed the company several times to tell them of the problem. I sent them a video/pictures of the watch winder. They don't reply to any emails. I have been repeatedly asking them for a return label. The package arrived from China even though the company poses itself to be Swiss. Save your money and do not buy from them. I have lost £355!
