Non existent Customer Service

I have their CPAP DreamMapper machine which has had endless problems with the app to connect to it to get reports.
Email them and they do not respond.
Disgusting that such a large business has a total disregard for customers and ignores any request for assistance.
Unfortunately my provider switched me 18 months ago to their machine having had another manufacturers AirSense 10 for 16 years without a single issue. There was a shortage at the time. I wish I had never switched.

Worst service in years. Bots that never work - no phone number as usual

Its quite possibly the worst customer service I had this year. Unable to get a phone number. Phone was cut off three times, waited 40 minutes to be answered. Wrong dept on second time because options do not match - cut off again.
Had to contact AO who rang them to ring me....TV on wall, brand new and they would not help without serial number which was on the back not visible. Philips not in the slightest bit bothered, attitude on the phone - I should have had the attitude - £350 product and was told to update it!!! It was a day old! AO where brilliant - returned due to Philips bad service - rather pay double and get a person on the phone rather than a robot that keeps saying Hello then nothing. Four hours and still no channels on brand new TV - Apple for the new one - at least you get five star service and a number that is answered. Refusing all bot using companies

Horrible experience with Philips

Horrible experience with Philips! I ordered a product, but when I went to pick it up from the store, it was missing. I contacted customer service expecting a quick resolution—either a replacement or a refund—but instead, they told me to wait 11 business days just for them to decide what to do. That’s nearly two weeks just to think about it, not even to resolve it!

I need my product, and they clearly don’t care. All I want now is my money back so I can order from somewhere else, but even that seems to be a struggle for them. Absolutely unacceptable customer service—avoid at all costs!

Bought a Sonicare Flosser

Bought a Sonicare Flosser, failed within 3 months. Warranty process failed to log job, customer left waiting for confirmation, chased customer services, told it was my fault even though there was no way to access any data submitted or update warranty from my side and all data needed was already on the system. Told to return unit, before replacement which meant more time without a working product Eventually returned to retailer for full refund who were brilliant and bought a brand with more quality. Customer service at Philips very poor, not helpful, don't investigate, typical outsourced, no autonomy to escalate, often cheap 3rd party service that so many short sighted companies now adopt for the bottom line purposes. Upshot, no more Philips products for me.

Pretty good experience

I have bought Philips products for 7 years oral hygiene toothbrush handles and toothbrush heads

My review is about a Toothbrush handle, dealing with a mechanical fault - That's it
Thought I might add a few other points / pointers!

Found buying from eBay: Got to be careful
Amazon: Got to be careful
Amazon Philips Store : Good price
Boots etc all OK original
Philips direct: Good prices when your given an offer

Buyer beware as they say! for toothbrush handles and toothbrush heads - Do your research

Bought Oral B before buying Philips but found the plastic handles degraded overtime, (got sticky) and found the Philips brushes better (they do cost a lot more)

Overall Philips think toothbrush and handles and heads are better than the competitors. I tend to use A3 tried all of them. You do pay more for their toothbrush heads - The questions are they worth paying double - I think so - That's up to you to decide

I sometime do get frustrated with their customer service however over all I think the customer service is pretty good (Customer Service is not in the UK - like most large suppliers companies using VoIP - So nothing new! - the quality of the phone call could be better - that's VoIP for you! )

Over all I would say for me the service i received has been very good - quick pick up and help from customer service

I am actually maybe going for a couple of Philip curved Monitors 27" QHD of course - That is my choice - but they do have very good reviews - lost track of the review here!

There are negative reviews on Philips:-

I think overall good to very positive - But its your experience in the end

Purchased a Philips toothbrush 3 months…

Purchased a Philips toothbrush 3 months ago. It has a problem that is known by Philips. The only way they can help is if I send the toothbrush back and go without a toothbrush for 10 days. Very poor quality and very poor customer service. I won't be using them again.

Obstinate Philips customer services

I bought a shiny new 43PUS8807 in January 2023 thinking how fantastic it'll be. Has mostly been good except one glaring issue. Settings cannot be accessed from any Freeview based apps, itvx, iPlayer, pop, etc.

When the button is pressed you are abruptly put back on the home screen meaning HDR settings cannot be changed from there.

Philips were made aware of this issue around June 2023 and you end up with the usual turn it off and on, reinstall. They were adamant it is normal to not be able to access settings from there even though every other app allows access. A fair bit of back and forth happened and they close cases when asked about it refusing to even attempt to consider there is an issue. Time goes on where I'm reminded that HDR content on any of those apps is unwatchable and how I can't adjust sound settings when needed.

More recently I asked Freeview about it and they have said that this is not normal and it is behaving like a compatibility issue which would be sorted on Philips side.

I Was under the impression that dealing directly with Philips would be the right move as they should have all the knowledge and power to sort an issue but no.

They have tried to tell me that an issue with settings not opening in iPlayer is different to settings not opening in all Freeview based apps. I regret saying specifically in 2023 as that's now being used against me, claiming you're outside warranty with a new issue.

They have dragged this outside warranty by saying this is normal so they they can get away with doing nothing. I'm amazed this long has past to not have an outcome from a company I assumed was reputable.

Disappointing Service and Communication from Philips

I sent my Philips Airfryer 5000 Series XXL Connected (HD9285/91) for warranty repair due to safety concerns with the pan and basket. I was informed the process would take 7-10 business days, which seemed lengthy but acceptable. However, instead of repairing my unit, Philips sent a different model—Philips Airfryer 3000 Series XXL (NA342/09)—without any prior communication. This replacement lacks the smart connectivity features of my original model, making it unsuitable.

Attempts to resolve this issue via WhatsApp support went unanswered. After contacting the Repair Center, they acknowledged the mistake and arranged for the incorrect unit to be collected. I now face an additional delay of one or more weeks, all due to Philips' errors.

This experience has been highly frustrating, highlighting significant lapses in Philips' operational processes, quality assurance, and customer communication. I hope Philips addresses these issues promptly to prevent similar inconveniences for other customers.

Don't order direct from Philips

My experience has been similar to others who have written reviews about ordering direct from Philips (aka Versuni, Amsterdam). Coffee machine was meant to arrive in 3 to 4 working days but yet to show up (now 2 weeks). Used their WhatsApp customer service channel and was sent a stock explanation - we're experiencing huge demand so there are delays in shipping orders - and I was simply advised to be patient. If you want a Philips product I recommend you don't shop direct with them. My experience also makes me question whether their after sales support, if needed, would be any good.
Update: almost two months since ordering, I am still chasing a refund for a coffee machine where Philips cancelled the order for an undisclosed reason. I have had to raise the issue with my credit card provider. I will avoid Philips products.

Replacement Philips monitor

I had a replacement Philips monitor delivered under warranty and when it arrived it had no screws to attach the monitor to the stand!! Rachel in customer support advised that I should have kept the screws from the faulty monitor before returning it! Nobody ever informed me of this. I now have a monitor that I cannot use and have to wait for them to receive the faulty monitor so that they can take the screws out and send them to me. Absolutely absurd, and they are telling me that its my fault as screws are classed as "accessories" as if I should know. Please don't buy a Philips monitor the aftercare is appalling.

Phillips £500 coffee machine stopped…

Phillips £500 coffee machine stopped working, within 2 year warranty. Contacted them and was asked to send it back. Packaged up, quite heavy too, and sent back to be serviced. Was returned quickly, wasn’t told what had been done to it. Tried it out and water was coming out from the front across kitchen worktop. Doubt a service had been completed at all. They wanted me to send it back again but no way was I doing that, such a bother to get nothing sorted out. I asked for a refund or a replacement. Answer was no. Asked for a copy of their warranty, no reply. Coffee machine heading to the dump

Expensive - failed after less than a year

Bought an expensive toothbrush approx £150. Fantastic to begin with, but one day after less than a year of use it does not turn on. Thinking it could not possibly be broken at the extortionate tag price and such little time I bought a new charger, to see if it would work and still no luck. Said it had two year warranty, put in the toothbrush details onto the website, for it to claim it has no warranty on the specific toothbrush I bought

If I could put minus 1 star I would

If I could put minus 1 star I would. Bought their top of the range iron. Sent in its factory box only, with flimsy non-sealed flap closure with no other packaging or protective materials. Fell out in transit, arrived in a poor state, unsurprisingly. Absolutely zero customer service, appalling experience. Avoid buying directly like the plague.

If I could give 0 stars

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I ordered a Philips air fryer for $89 along with a blender that I didn’t really need but bought since it was on sale. The blender arrived in two days, but the air fryer never did. After countless calls, I was repeatedly told to contact the shipping company—meanwhile, Philips’ customer service was not only unhelpful but also rude.

After two weeks, I found out on my own that the shipment was canceled—no one from Philips informed me. I then spent weeks making endless calls, emails, and messages trying to get my refund. Every time, I was told they’d handle it, but nothing happened. They offered me a 15% voucher, which was meaningless because by the time I finally got my refund (after a whole month), the air fryer had doubled in price. Even with the voucher, I had to pay twice as much.

On top of that, I was repeatedly promised callbacks that never happened. No one took responsibility, no one tried to solve my issue, and the entire experience was a nightmare. And to top it off, I’m now stuck with a blender I didn’t even need—one that can’t even blend an onion.

Philips has completely lost my trust. never again.

HOPELESS SERVICE. AVOID DIRECT ORDERING.

Ordered Lumea IPL direct because I thought service would be better. They get double profit from direct orders. Four changed delivery dates later I still don’t have it but they’ve taken my money! No answer to my email after three changes. After 4th change I called only to have a bored, disinterested person be completely unhelpful. Told me there has been a customs delay because it’s coming from Netherlands which they neglect to inform at time of order! He said I’d had an email from Philips but I did not. 4 days I’ve had to stay home!
