We went on a family holiday with PGL. Stayed in a magical listed castle in Northumberland. Excellent value, brilliant staff and soooooo much fun! Also very good at managing dietary needs

Lincolnshire camp stand out
Stayed at the Lincolnshire camp as a family . The staff were so genuine , friendly and safety conscious we felt in great hands. The variety of activities was perfect for teenagers and adults , the food pretty decent especially the breakfast and fresh salads , accommodation is basic but had a good shower and kettle so all you need . We met likeminded people and had real family fun can’t wait to return.
One feedback point - names of staff need to be highlighted on tops so we can name stand out ones as so many
Kyle I wouldn’t of done zip wire but for his encouragement . Bar staff super friendly Jaime , James and lovely lady . Wish could name them all so nice

A great value, fun experience
We had a really wonderful time doing 15 different activities over the 5 days. The staff were all lovely and knew the kids by name after mere hours.
It was such good value for money and for a family of 4 to do all the activities we did separately would have cost multiple thousands of pounds!
Would highly recommend!

4 fun-packed days of activities
4 fun-packed days of activities! My daughters wanted to swap an activity which was not a problem.
We would go back to PGL Caythorpe Court.

Fun for families, especially younger children
We've been on several 4 night family adventure holidays with PGL and found it a great experience (my kids ages have ranged from 9 to 14, but there were other families with much younger children). The activities are non-stop, with 4 scheduled activity sessions per day plus the option of lunchtime activities, early and later evening ones too. It's taken us a few goes to realise that we enjoy the holiday more if we take at least one session off for a rest/change of pace. The choice is great, we especially enjoyed high ropes, canoeing, zip wire and aeroball, plus plenty of climbing and abseiling type activities, giant swing, rifles and archery. In any micro breaks between activities, my son usually found a game to join in on the football pitch. Other families attending seemed friendly and the kids generally got along well.
PGL staff were great, food was decent (buffet style). Accommodation was basic but good (make sure to book a room with single bed for adult. The bunk beds can be quite cramped). Great smoothies and milkshakes available to purchase all day long and a nice gift shop open at lunchtime only.

Excellent range of activities for adults and children
Good value for money. Excellent range of activities which were fun for the whole family including adults. We got to try a lot of activities we had never done before. Love the outdoor heated pool too!

Brilliant 4-night family break!
Visited Caythorpe Court for a 4-night family stay and it was fantastic. Family ensuite rooms, accessible facilities, great catering, fabulous staff (who are absolute pros at supporting children, and adults, to challenge themselves!), and BRILLIANT activities. Exhausting but honestly one of the best breaks we've had and such a confidence-building trip away! We will definitely be back - the variety of activities was great!

Welcoming & friendly camp for kids
From welcoming to leaving my daughter has a fantastic experience.
Highlights were paddle boarding, canoeing, cookout & silent disco.
She's made friends from Norway, Italy & Newcastle that are planning to return next year together again.
Dalguise is a fantastic location for the camp with great activities and a location that is easy to get to.
Andrea, Harley, Kirsty & Diego made my daughter feel welcome for the two stays this summer (7 nights & 4 nights).

Thank you Osmington Bay
The whole PGL team from start to finish were exceptionally helpful and accommodating. Apart from a brief hiccup at the beginning which was rectified swiftly, the whole experience was reassuring. When it came to the Camp week, drop off went really smoothly. Each evening our eldest was able to call us to update us on all the fun activities they had done and this was really reassuring to hear how much fun they were having. Midweek the team called us to arrange contact with our youngest so that we could speak to him and get some updates which was really nice. At pick up it was really organised and reassuring to see the security they had in place. The staff were already cheerful and helpful, and when the boys were brought back, they had big smiles on their faces. Handover went really well, although the staff are all quite young, they were really approachable and happy to talk to us about what the boys had been up to and how they had been for the whole week. Both boys have asked if they can go again next year, which is a big thumbs up for us. Thank you, Osmington Bay PGL.

Enjoyable experience for a range of different ages
The 3 siblings, who have different personalities and interests, all enjoyed the experience and wish to return next year. They all enjoyed the activities and the food. 2 of the girls fell into different age brackets but staff accommodated them together when they were a bit anxious about sleeping in different rooms.

My son has hust returned from his 3rd year ar summer camp and he is still loving it. Teams are great, it is very easy to communicate with the centre if / when required.
My son has been fortunate enough to have attended the same week as some of the boys he met on his 1st year. It's genuinely heartwarming.
He comments on his experience in the same way I commented on mine when I attended 15 years ago.
I highly recommend this centre.

Great Experience
This was my kids first “residential experience” and they loved it. They came home full of stories and new experiences. Highly recommend and we will undoubtedly be sending our kids again in the future. The team at Merchants Hill did a great job and they enabled new experiences in a safe and professional environment.

Kids camp 2026 was a lot of fun at Dalguise, this year. My children were opportune to engage in various activities which include the burn walk, fencing, archery, survivor and much more.
The evening entertainment ranged from disco, campfire and much more over a 7 day peroid.
