I’ve used Procter & Gamble products for…

I’ve used Procter & Gamble products for a long time, but my recent experiences have been disappointing. Some products don’t seem as effective as they used to be, and prices have gone up without a noticeable improvement in quality.

While the brand still has a wide range of options, consistency feels off compared to before. It’s not terrible, but it’s also not meeting the standard I expected.

P&G HYPE versus LIVED EXPERIENCE

PROCTER & GAMBLE - Fairy Snow Non Bio "Powder" has changed greatly over the years & in my opinion, NOT for the better. Despite the HYPE on the adverts, it is a much more substandard product than it used to be. More than once I have had clothing stained by Fairy Snow's odd bits of purple; like someone has put indelible pencil shavings into the powder mix. What is that supposed to be? "Fast dissolving" Fairy Snow Powder is not & the powder is much coarser & goes LUMPY in the box very quickly. No, it is not stored in the damp.
I have it stored alongside an ancient box of DREFT which is dry, beautifully fine & dissolves easily & quickly & is over 20years old - THAT is a quality product.

Proctor & Gamble Fairy Liquid

Always used this until this week, when the latest bottle appears to be no less than 50% water and it will produce hardly any froth at all, no matter how much you squirt onto the washing up. I bet the Boyo's at Proctor & Gamble don't use this watered down junk.

This is really Greedonomics carried to the extreme. When you are foisting a product onto the public at a premium, top brand price that is now vastly inferior to the the supermarkets own, budget brand.....Be prepared for a sudden slump in sales!

Fairy Dream Team Bundle (via…

Fairy Dream Team Bundle (via SuperSavvyMe)

Finally! A product that seems to be psoriasis friendly! Delivery driver loved the scent as he dropped off a sizeable box.
15 laundry pods, 490ml of outdoorable fabric conditioner, a full size tube of scent boosters & ten sample sachets of conditioner & vouchers to share with friends & family.

I washed clothing, bedding and towels for my family member with psoriasis primarily to see any reaction to Fairy. (We did a small patch test 24 hours before to check for signs of a reaction - nothing).

HURRAH!! The scent is amazing. Fresh and not too overpowering or chemical like other brands.

The pods, softener and scent boosters all compliment each other and leave clothes lovely and clean. The towels feel fluffier than before (I was worried about possible residue being left after using all three products together - I needn’t have worried).

SUCCESS! After several laundry washes, my family member commented on how much softer the clothes, bedding and towels felt. Because Fairy is non bio, it prides itself on being gentle and suitable for sensitive skin. I can certainly attest to that! There appear to be less psoriatic flare ups and some even appear to have settled down, which is fantastic!

Using Fairy on some tired looking cream slippers (other detergents didn’t revive them), they came up much brighter and look almost like new!

I’m definitely going to keep using Fairy not only for their sensitive skin, but for the whole family too! #FairyFreshness

Dealt with my return well.

My Oral B toothbrush had packed up within the two year guarantee and I wanted to return it. It took 10 minutes to sort it out on the phone with a promise of an email with the return label etc which did not arrive. They did follow up a couple of days later before I had chance to chase it and it was sorted out. The brush was returned to them and replaced within a week, which was impressive. Overall very happy.

Coupons more touble than it is worth

Firstly this has got to be one of the worst sites I have used and I've only used it twice.
First time after great difficulty I managed to print the coupons.
On presenting them at Morrisons they were all refused at the check out and customer service struggled giving me the monetary value as they could not get them to scan.
This time as of today the site won't let me print off the coupons stating an error and try later. The coupons are showing printed !!!!
Costs more in time and effort than what the coupons are worth.

Disgusting Consumer Relations Staff, intentionally rude and deliberately obstructive

I had cause to ring Gillette a product by Proctor and Gamble, to complain about a product that I had purchased. I spoke to a representative called Nic in the Consumer Relations Department.

As so many operatives fail to spell my name correctly I spelt it out for her so there would be no error. Mail also goes astray due to local postal circumstances and I stated the correct address that was to be used.

I was to receive a communication from P&G which I just could not believe that was sent to me from a supposed professional company. The operative had deliberately spelt my name incorrectly. She had also deliberately ignored the postal instructions and did the exact opposite as to what was required. Deliberately spiteful and quite disgusting possibly playing/showing off with her colleagues only she can confirm this why else would she do it?

I contacted the office and requested the supervisor to contact me. The supervisor called Cheryl duly rang and I discussed the matter with her. The impression I received was that she was fully aware of what had transpired and she attempted to cover up the matter saying a previous mailing address was used.

What an absolute load of rubbish. They were told of the correct address so they made matters worse by deliberately using one that they knowingly knew was incorrect. No one takes kindly being deliberately insulted and ignored and deliberately altering personal data is totally unprofessional and illegal.

I took the matter further and contacted the head office. I received a call from Fiona in customer relations which actually confirmed my earlier suspicions. The information she had received in writing from the staff in question was apparently false and contradicted what I had said. I take umbrage at being called a liar as much as my Family name being adulterated.

Fiona was not at all interested in me as a customer whatsoever and was more interested in protecting the staff who had upset one of their customers which she made quite clear in the conversation, no customer service at all.

She stated she would listen to the conversations in question. I find this quite amazing as surely if someone is doing an investigation they listen to all calls getting all the proper story rather than getting notes which were not entirely honest and proper and had she listened to the phone conversations she would have realised she was given written information that was not correct.

Of course I am receiving a written apology from this member of staff. Of course I am not as this person is not at all concerned with customer relations whatsoever. One thing I can confirm is if there is a bad egg in a department I have dealings with I seem to get them.
