Laughably bad, went in for a simple denture with 3 pegs on it. After 6 visits over 6 weeks, as the guy was only there one day a week, I left with £375 worth of ill fitting, snaggle tooth looking piece of crap. One of the teeth is a front tooth, which is not even close to as long as my actual tooth, and overlaps my second tooth🤣🤣🤣 the plate isn't even flush to the roof of my mouth unless I use about a ton of fixodent. Over the course of them visits the denture broke twice, once in the dentists hand, so I hold out little hope that it will survive a steak.... Or a peach if I'm honest!

We attended Petre Dental surgery last week. We had amazing kindness, appreciation of my son's anxiety and superb professionalism. All the staff were brilliant. What a great practice. Thank you so much.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!?

My elderly aunt purchased dentures here in 2016 which then got lost, no problem as they were covered by the insurance..We went back to PETRE DENTAL to get a copy of the original receipt as part of the claims procedure only to be told she had paid half the price that had actually been paid!? The Dentist overheard the conversation and asked what was the matter, the receptionist shouts across the surgery to him “he’s pocketed the money again” Turns out the previous Dentist had pocketed half the cash, only inputting some of it on to the official system, due to this they couldn’t provide us with the receipt for the full amount paid.

We then requested to see her patient record which should have included a copy of the invoice, predictability they couldn’t find them saying they had been stored ‘elsewhere’ I was provided with an address and phone number which of course I rang only to find it cut off, I therefore decided to travel the 20miles to the address only to find it locked up and deserted. Managed to speak to someone on an different number I found myself but different to the one I’d been given by PETRE DENTAL only to be told by them that PETRE DENTAL had lied and the records weren’t there..To date we still haven’t been provided the patient. Not only is it illegal to refuse you access to your own patient records but it is also illegal to lose, misplace or destroy them after only 2years..When I raised these issues with the owner of PETRE DENTAL he demanded that I leave the premises threatening to call the police to have me ejected!?

Complaints made to HMRC, Care Quality Commission and The Dental Council. DON’T PAY BY CASH AND BETTER STILL DON’T PAY AT ALL - GO ELSEWHERE..
