Scam, you will not see your money back
I signed up for petplan premium, because it covers teeth cleaning. Who knew that they don't cover the first 30 days that the insurance is working. Also they don't cover vaccinations, my dog is healthy and doesn't need anything else. I sent a declaration for 417 euros from the vet, got 0 back and paid them 47 euros. I can't cancel my subscription now because they said it's a one year period and you can only cancel within the first 14 days. It's clear that these practices are against the law and are only aimed at exploiting customers and scamming them. Absolutely unlawful behavior, I will not be paying them and will hire a lawyer to take them to court and close down their trashy little fraudulent business. Save your money and it's cheaper to not have insurance at all, believe me!

Terrible customer care -Avoid Petplan!!!
I cancelled my policy online due to the hike in price, in 4 years my policy went from £28 to £47, which is disgusting (I made no claims), didn’t receive an email confirming this, no letter confirming this and no follow up from Petplan customer service. They continued to take out another payment after I had cancelled (silly me for not cancelling my direct debit) and have had two different stories from two different customer service team and will not refund me the money they took. Thieves. It seems this company is not interested in, most importantly, your pet, but customer care to the paying customer is simply non existent!!! It is very much computer says no. I am so glad I have cancelled and will never go back to this company nor will I ever recommend them to anyone.

Terrible Service, Use Another Company!
I had a policy with Petplan for 3 years; they had no problem taking the money during that time, but when my dog became terminally ill they found reasons not to pay out for the diagnostics, even though it should have been covered. I have used a number of pet insurance companies worldwide, but petplan.nl is clearly the worst. If you need pet insurance I recommend that you use one of the other pet insurance companies.
Don't believe everything you read on Petplan reviews one trustpilot site says excellent the other site says bad
You will see there is two reviews for Petplan by trustpilot one says they're excellent the other says bad thanks for all the reviews on this site I won't be getting Petplan
Shocking!
I have a dog who is now 13. I have paid pet plan since he was a puppy. I took my dog to the vets last year & they noticed "fatty lumps" , but were not concerned over them & I didnt claim for them!
However just received a letter from Petplan with a list of "exclusions" to my now policy, which they have bumped up by £5 a month - now £35.00 a month, and guess what? They have excluded claiming for ANY LUMPS!
My dog now has a lump, a lump my vets are concerned about & want to test incase of cancer, however Petplan wont cover it, all because of this exclusion!
My advice : Dont waste your money - put £35 into a bank account every month and keep it for emergencies for your dog! Dont waste money on petplan as they will find every loophole under the sun to not cover you.
