We have been attending Petits Pois toddler class for a year now, I bring my 4yo and 1yo son. Andrea has been great at allowing my youngest to come with my eldest as I don't have other child care options, he initially sat with me but now has decided it's time for him to join in too! I love the format of the class and how it's suitable for the range of ages in the class. I think it's great to have younger children watch and learn off the older ones. A variety of songs, props, stories, craft and games are packed into the 45mins class. The classes are seasonal and so topics change throughout the terms and year. Andrea is highly engaging for both young and old. Children are encouraged to join in but never forced. She is considerate of adult and children's fears and allergies. I am thrilled to have a class so local to us. It is so clear that Andrea cares and works very hard for those that attend her class. I'd highly recommend both from an educational but also entertaining toddler class to attend. I believe Andrea is happy for you to try her class out as a PAYG option to see if it is right for you, so long as there is space in her class.
Me and my little boy have attended since covid lifted and my little boy loves it so much. His french vocabulary is getting better and better. He looks forward to Tuesday every week and absolutely adores Andrea. I’ve chosen to have no pictures on social media of my little boy and Andrea has always respecting my wishes. There has never been any accidental posting and he is such an active part of the group so I know that is Probably hard.

I had attended Andrea’s classes for 2 and a half years with my son who’s now 4. She is the most amazing teacher, so engaging and has helped my son gain a lot of confidence.
Every single class is full of exciting learning for them (and us). Songs, craft, dancing and more props than a pantomime!!
Also Andrea is the loveliest women ❤️
Don’t hesitate to get booked on a class.

Andrea goes above and beyond! The classes are so lovely.
My little girl already adores French and she is only 9 months old!
Can't wait for the January term.
You should be so proud of what you've achieved Andrea !

The kindest, most fun teacher!
I have attended Andrea’s classes for the best part of 4 years. As I know many other families are long term, returning attendees. It’s a great place for adults and children to make friends (that includes with Andrea). My daughter’s will bring achievements from school/dancing/nursery to class to show her. They adore her!
With after school class her professional teaching background can be noted, she teaches, interacts and entertains a class full of primary children with ease and the children’s joy in participating is clear.
In babies/toddler classes, Andrea could not be rivalled, she is fun, charismatic, helpful (I’ve attended class with 2 energetic girls are one point) and gives every single class her all. You will never see a bigger collection of props and gadgets to aid fun-filled learning!
Honestly, from the original (very catchy) songs to the crafts and activities, you will never look back. A brilliant class for all ages.

I've started attending these classes in 2018 when my daughter was 2, she's now 6 and we go to the after school classes.
I was blown away by how fun and engaging Andrea made the classes and my daughter has a real interest in French as a result of it. The preparation, the organisation and the effort Andrea goes to is truly amazing.
I recommended this class to my friend who now takes her son to the after school class and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these classes to anyone. I only wish I'd have had a French teacher like Andrea.

We attended Les Petits Pois Fun French for the Christmas party lesson and had so much fun! What Andrea packs into these classes just amazes me. Singing and dancing to so many fun Christmas songs in French, games that included my toddler and 12m old, two gorgeous Christmas crafts that I will cherish forever and most importantly, magical memories made.
Andrea even went out of her way to take a festive photo of the mums with their children as we all know Mama is usually the one taking the photos and never in them.
The little details are chosen with care, suitable for all and even us Big Peas had a whale of a time.
Such incredible value for a jam packed session. There is a reason this is an Award Winning Class and the amount of love Andrea pours into her sessions, and the sheer joy she brings each and every week is second to none.
Joyeux Noel 🎄 (still singing the Santa got stuck in the chimney song!)
Andrea is an amazing teacher! My daughter has loved the classes since she started the baby class in September 2018. She’s now in the after school class, which I get to enjoy too 🙂 Can’t recommend these classes enough!

We’ve been coming to Andrea’s classes since my daughter was 8 months old. From the very first class she has loved it. It’s not an exaggeration to say she doesn’t take her eyes off Andrea the whole time. She sits and watches everything she does with a smile on her face. She’s learning how to pay attention and listen to stories.
My daughter is 11 months old now and can clap her hands when you ask her to in French. She loves playing with her French flash cards at home too (it’s one of her favourite games). She’s learning so much and Andrea is a fantastic teacher. We love the classes and feel very lucky to have a class like this in our area. I couldn’t recommend them, or Andrea, enough.

Andrea’s classes are just fabulous. I high recommend you attend with your child, the younger you start the better. There are no other classes quite like these ones. Andrea is fantastic with the children, her sessions are engaging, educating, fun, exciting and full of variation. There is so much thought that goes into every single class, so many resources, it’s quite clear how dedicated Andrea is to her work and how much she loves what she does. My son LOVES his French classes and has picked up the language far better than I ever thought he would. Children are sponges and Andrea teaches them such important skills, not only the language, but listening skills, turn taking, team work, singing, dancing, fine motor, building relationships and many more! Songs are fantastic and really catchy, only thing I’d say is they are a tad low in pitch for children, but my son sings them all the time. I hope Andrea’s classes grow across the country as every child needs them in their lives!

I have been attending Andrea’s classes for over a year. I have tried many baby & toddler classes and will say this class is by far the best! Andrea is a lovely person and the effort she puts in to each class is amazing! Xx

Absolutely fantastic class.
My little boy has been attending since he was around 1.5years old - he was a little apprehensive at first but Andreas warm, understanding and empathetic nature settled him into the class well.
Seeing him grow and develop in his French has been amazing and the wide variety of activities, songs and crafts that we do each week means the little ones learn quickly whilst having a fun time with their friends they have followed through the journey.
It is clear that Andrea puts so much time and effort into her classes and loves the children dearly.
This is a small business and Andrea does her up most to accommodate class swaps if it’s available, but sometimes unexpected situations mean that little ones do miss a session; but this is just like nursery - we pay each month for set days at nursery and don’t get reimbursed if the child is sick or on holiday, so this isn’t an area which I feel would reduce the five star review I am giving today (if I could give her a hundred stars I would)
Overall, I want to say a big massive thank you to Andrea for all the time, effort and care she has shown towards me and my little boy.
WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Au Revoir et merci Andrea ❤️

What a class! Andrea is amazing. Her planning, diversity, enthusiasm and love for what she does shines through. I have been coming to classes for years with my two youngest children, they love it and so do I. I have been to lots of classes over the years and have also taught pre school classes and these are fantastic, you won’t be disappointed!

Andrea is amazing. My little man struggles in social situation at points he went to class and hid under the chair for parts of the sessions Andrea was so caring and never pushed him or excluded him but worked with him. If you saw him at class now you would never know confident shouting out answers and so comfortable with Andrea. Im so impressed with the classes and now my daughter attends too and its her favourite part of the week we have to play the CDs everytime we are in the car. I cant recommend Andrea and her classes enough even through COVID her classes were so fun and unique.

Grab a seat because this is going to take a while!
Andrea and Les Petits Pois are AMAZING! There’s no other way to describe.
My child started Les Petits Pois around 3 years ago, he has multiple additional needs and from day one Andrea has been supportive and accommodating! I started him in the 4-8 year olds class but we quickly realised it wasn’t suitable for him, although his age was over 4, developmentally, mentally and socially he was much younger, I spoke with Andrea and asked about the possibility of him joining the younger class 18months - 4 years as I felt that was more suitable to his additional needs and development at the time…Andrea wholeheartedly agreed with me and was more than happy to swap us to the younger class, and my son has absolutely thrived in being in that class, it was absolutely what he needed and Andrea was extremely helpful, professional, friendly, polite and downright lovely about it. She has taken extra care with him due to his needs, never pushing him, being very understanding when he’s having off days, including him in ways that he’s comfortable with, and always being supportive.
Due to his additional needs he has a restricted diet so on the weeks when classes have a food element Andrea always makes the time and effort to speak to me in advance to ensure that my son is ok with what she has planned and if it’s not suitable she provides an alternative option. She couldn’t be more helpful!
And it’s not just my child she supports, she’s even gone out of her way to support me, I have a horrific phobia of bananas so when there was a few weeks with banana props Andrea was super supportive and gave me advance warning before she brought them out so I could hide, when there was banana slices for a craft she offered both to help my son with the banana craft AND provided an alternative for us! She really does go above and beyond to support and help her customers!
When my child was having an assessment for autism and we needed speech and language to do an assessment in a setting other than home Andrea came to the rescue and very kindly offered us to bring the speech and language therapist along to class so she could observe my child and support the assessment. If that’s not helpful and supportive then I don’t know what is!!
I also have seen the 1* review left saying about photo permission being ignored and I can genuinely say this is an absolute load of lies! I have never given permission for my child’s photo to be used and Andrea has been very supportive and helpful, she takes pictures of him during class but only sends them to me privately. And on the 2 occasions she has uploaded photos to Facebook which contained my child in (mistakes happen! it’s easily done) I’ve sent her a quick message bringing it to her attention and she’s apologised profusely and removed them immediately. You can’t ask for fairer than that can you!
Also, and I promise I’m nearly finished now, if you’ve made it this far then thank you! Due to my sons additional needs he doesn’t have many friends and he struggles with social communication, I was quite upset this year as I realised he’ll never have a big birthday party etc like other children, Andrea was amazing, she listened to me crying over it and she made extra effort to include him that week, she even had the class sing happy birthday to him AND let him hand out the stickers at the end of the class (he’s still talking about that 2 months later! It was the highlight of his birthday).
Nearly there haha just want to summarise and say Andrea couldn’t be more supportive and helpful, she’s brilliant with the kids and parents, we adore the classes and highly highly recommend to everyone! You won’t find a better class around!

I started attending Andrea’s toddler class with my daughter, Thea, just after lockdown. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the classes and you could see her confidence growing each session. The classes always had a good mixture of sitting, singing, listening and also more active and creative tasks. She would happily go away and show others the skills she had been learning in French class. When my daughter started attending nursery full time I switch over to the baby class with my son, Elijah. Elijah gets excited as soon as we walk into class and is always enthralled by Andrea and watching her every move. I have loved this class and will continue attending with my son for as long as we are able to 💗💙

Extremely disappointing treatment of me and my family by the class teacher.
Had been very happily attending the classes since October half term then in early December baby missed a class due to hospital, asked (in person) if baby could possibly attend an alternative class, but was told emphatically no (fair enough as this wasn't the teacher's fault). A week later, the class was cancelled by the teacher due to a problem at the venue. Again asked (via social media) if there would be an alternative class or a credit for next half term. Again emphatically told no. Then received an angry phone call from the teacher saying that by asking her these questions I had behaved highly inappropriately and that my grandchild was no longer welcome at the class.
Obviously the teacher is free to like or dislike whoever she pleases but to treat her customers in this way is extremely poor.
In addition, baby's parent had requested that no photos were to be taken of baby and used on social media. However the teacher ignored this, and took and posted photos anyway. Baby's parent then felt obliged/pressured to give consent retrospectively.
All in all, what should have been a fun, happy experience, soon turned into a very negative one thanks to the teacher's disproportionate reaction to a couple of simple requests.

This is the best baby and toddler group I’ve been too. It’s so much fun for the little ones and we all learn a little French together. Andreas enthusiasm is infectious, you can’t help but love her classes.
Really engaged our 5 year old great mix of practical and oral French.
