Following on from having our whole house treated for wordworm,we found a further attack on our kitchen roof. We contacted the Liverpool office and they booked us in with Chris Fox who was our previous inspector who attended promptly and he arranged a top up on our previous treatment. This was undertaken in a very short timescale with Steve Morgan the technician on the day, turning up on time, had a very professional persona, explained everything that he was about to do,covered everything that was still in our gutted kitchen with plastic and completed the spraying in a controlled and professional manner. He explained we would need to leave the area unoccupied kitchen for 24hrs and kindly left warning signs on both of the entrance doors to remind us. Although we had to have a revisit due to us finding further woodworm in the kitchen while gutting the kitchen for a new refit,we can honestly say it was completed professionally with no fuss and gave us the confidence that we had now sorted the woodworm issue. We would have no problem in recommending Peter Cox to complete any work with any of the services they offer. It should certainly be the first call you make if you have any restoration issues. 10 out of 10 all around and hence the 5star review. Thank you and well done.

Evert visited site this week to carry out redrilling of brickwork where a previous team had not drilled deep enough into the inside skin of cavity wall . He actually purchased a longer tube than he is usually supplied with so that he could ensure the work could be done correctly .I am now confident that it has been done correctly. Thank you Evert for resolving all our problems

Great service from the first phone contact to the finished job. Very accommodating to 4 date changes! Reliable and professional throughout as well as being friendly and kind.
Only one wee draw back - when calling the operator took a while each phone call to locate our postcode despite having called many times.... but a big thank you to L-A for being so patient and kind.
Thank you

Dissappointed with Peter Cox.
Had fully dpc injected back in 2019.
It didn’t work and apparently this is due to the plastering not being done only injection of DPC.
We’ve tried to get this remedied but as Peter cox did half the job other damp companies won’t touch it.
Peter cox want hundreds of pounds on top of the thousands already paid to re survey.
I had the team who did the work back out and they made a hole in the wall and said I need to find someone to render in sand and cement. Left the hole in the wall which I had to fill.
If anyone from Peter Cox reads this please do feel free to get in touch and remedy this.

I had some damp issues in my home and after calling a few companies I opted for the professionalism of Peter Cox. I am a female home owner so it was a little daunting. My surveyor “Shannon” was fabulous and explained everything I needed to know, why, when, how and prevention. Shane was really good. He did most of the work, removed floorboards, joists and replaced and took the concrete off the walls. Very respectful with my furniture and left my home clean daily. (Couldn’t help the obvious dust). Andy was also a good plasterer very pleased with the work and redecorating has just stated. Thank you.

They provided an excellent service from start to finish. The staff were all very efficient and professional. They gave above and beyond. Special mention must be made about Gary Bayne and Colin who worked on the job. I would not hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them.

Kennan Priddey and Andy Coleman are highly recommended. Their persistence and customer focus were excellent in helping find a good practical solution to a non standard problem.
They did not rush to just give a bulk standard solution. They really got to understand the issue and then find the best cost effective solution.
Cannot express enough how supported they made ne feel and confident we would wolve it.

Installation of Helifix reinforcement bars and replastering.
Office staff were very helpful, were happy to answer any questions.
Site inspection was carried out with dilligence.
Works were completed on time, no mess left behind.
Could not have gone better.

Peter Cox Edinburgh (Toni, Stefan, Brian and Scott) did an absolutely amazing job at guiding me through the process, surveying the property twice and getting the quote and job organised and done. I was dreading this part of our basement renovation and having not gone far at all with the London office, I nearly gave up. It was all thanks to Toni that I continued to pursue this and Stefan’s survey was very detailed and put me at ease with what was involved. Brian and Scott completed the work in 3 days, no details spared and left the property in great condition, they even helped our electrician! If you live in Edinburgh and need damp proofing done, please get in touch with them, they are an ace team!

Billy Vernon-Hamilton did a thorough job treating our small attic space for woodworm even though he had to climb inside on his knees.
He was very friendly and a good communicator.
Thank you Billy!

Peter Cox have just completed our new damp proof installation, At all times we have found all the staff to be professional and friendly!
Nigel and a colleague did the survey and explained what work was needed to be undertaken, upon agreeing the cost a start date was booked. Any further contact with the office was dealt with by Claire in a very pleasant manner. John did the first part removing the skirting boards and doing the actual damp proof installation. Next came Andy the plasterer, who did an excellent job. Finally Rob came to reinstate the skirting boards and completed the job. At all times the tradesmen treated my property as if it was their own with all the care required. At all stages they cleaned up after themselves! All in all a very positive installation.
