Since 2014, PERCKO’s mission is to develop innovative yet simple solutions to help people embrace their everyday activities without the apprehension caused by back pain.

Inspired by the back pain his father experienced as a dentist from hunching over his patients, Alexis Ucko, founded PERCKO together with Quentin Perraudeau. As two engineers they wanted to work with health professionals including Osteopaths, Physiotherapists, Doctors in Biomechanics, to find a simple and effective solution to reduce spinal pain (neck pain, back pain, low back pain) by stimulating a dynamic posture. They developed a tech-embedded T-shirt: A system of patented tensors are positioned strategically on the upper body for a double action, on the shoulders to open the chest and on the lower back to align the spine and the pelvis. Having formed partnerships with textile innovation specialists and an osteopathic clinic, PERCKO developed a discreet undershirt made from a high-quality breathable, and thin fabric. This differs from systems that were overly complex or restricting, frequently offering short-term pain relief but causing muscle atrophy in the long term. The bestselling textile range is now registered as a medical device. This includes: the everyday underwear, the sports T-shirt, and the vest for manual activities.

Awesome tshirt

I have had knee problems, the doctor recommended me the percko t-shirt, which helps to keep a good body position. I’ve bought 1 nude and 1 black, and I love them. They indeed keep the body straight, and relieve knee pain right away. Moreover , very pleasant and comfortable to wear. I recommend to everybody

Still waiting for my replacement!

Updating my review.

After writing this, I was sent the item within a matter of days. It’s just a shame that they never found the parcel I sent back, despite Royal Mail confirming that it has been delivered.

Thanks for eventually sorting this out, Percko.

Sent my item back which was delivered to them on the 29th July.

Claimed they didn't receive it before I told them that I had tracking information which showed this! Said 4 days ago that they were looking to see if they have it, still nothing back and currently £100 out of pocket.

VERY unhappy. I Just want my item!

1 item sent with a hole in it , called and said would receive a replacement to no fruition. Disappointing as not cheap, poor quality and service.

Poor customer service

I haven't purchased yet but did send them a message requestung a call as i have questions and a medical condition i need to discuss to verify if the product is right for me. I haven't heard anything. It's been 4 days and i was wanting to use my £10 off voucher which they gave me for signing up to their newsletter which is only valid for 10 days! No chance of using that then I guess. Would be nice to actually speak to a person rather than messaging.

I haven't actually placed my order yet.

I emailed yourselves for support on the 14th and did not get a response until the 19th of July. Your email notification claims you get back to customers in a maximum of 2 working days, it took 3 working days for me.

I received an email response yesterday providing a contact number for customer service. I called the number straight away, made my query re my medical condition; I enquired if the garment would constrict me as I suffer with nerve pain as anything tight would trigger pain - she said not (but she didnt convince me). I then asked how do you configure the size from a person's height as I am short in the body and long in the leg, the vest is for the upper body. I offered my dress size but she could not convert into the European size and said she would need to see a picture of me. Anyway I emailed the picture, provided my height, shoulder to hip measurement and dress size even though she asked for none of this, just the picture. I thought it very odd. I am still awaiting a response. I have 4 days left to use the £10 off voucher. You should allow around a month seen as your customer service responses are so slow.

If I do go ahead with the purchase and find my nerve pain is triggered with this I will be returning. I couldn't find a number on your website to call and I feel your customer service person struggled to fully understand me. If you wish to discuss anything then please email me via your customer service representative Rebecca and I will happily provide my number for you to call me.

I can see a difference in my posture…

I can see a difference in my posture almost within a few days. The biggest problem is keeping the vest in place sticking to underwear. Also not sure I ordered the correct size. Although followed directions. Doesn’t pull down far enough, according to the back picture.

Great product

Great product: you can feel the difference whilst wearing. Size was PK4 (originally chart indicated I was PK3 so had to exchange - all went smoothly with that transition). Only two weeks in so far but I am confident it will help further with posture - and I do feel taller!

Absolutely disgusted with the customer service

I ordered 2 of these but was not impressed so I returned them by registered mail as advised at a cost of over £7.00. I received an email advising that I was entitled to refund and the refund would be made within 14 days. I waited but no refund. I emailed the 'happiness officer' and she advised she would try to refund again. Several days later, still no refund. I emailed the so called 'happiness Officer again who advised that payment was made into my account on 1st June. It wasn't. I sent a copy of my bank statement which clearly showed that payment had not been refunded. Once again a reply today from the 'happiness officer to say they would try again to refund.

Happy with the Vest

Happy with the Vest I still suffer from back pain but when I had a massage recently I was told that I had improved a lot so I am hoping that , in time the pain will start to recede

Vests returned a month ago but still no refund ...

Not impressed with company at all ... originally ordered Percko vests back in April. Followed guidelines on website for measurements which prompted me to a PK4 size. This is an expensive purchase for me, but decided to give it a go. Vests took much longer than website delivery time shown, as even though it said "in stock", they weren't, but eventually arrived. Tried them for around 2 weeks, but very uncomfortable, riding up at the back and the front band cutting across my bust. Contacted Percko to query size, only to be told I actually needed PK7 - 3 sizes larger than website recommended. It was suggested I return for exchange, and did so at MY expense, even though error was not my fault. The PK7 replacements arrived quickly, but I found them far too big and not tight enough to give any pressure - there was actually a gap between the fabric and my shoulders when I sat down, so doing nothing. I contacted Percko again, asking for a refund and sent them back - at MY expense again! Nothing heard for over a week, checked tracking and confirmed delivered on 13 May. Despite several emails to and replies from Percko's "Customer Happiness Officer", promising my Paypal refund is "being processed", then "is pending" and various other excuses, I still have not received my £174.40 refund and I am further out of pocket for 2 returns, one of which was not my fault. Contrary to very good reviews others have posted here, I have found Percko to be the exact opposite, and I am now raising a Paypal dispute for my refund. No more excuses Percko, your "Customer Happiness Officer" has failed to make me happy and want my money back please ...

Update: Amazing the power of a review here ... within 5 minutes of responding to Percko's request for my order details, I have a full refund ... still shouldn't have taken this long or having to resort to posting here to receive it. Thank you Percko

The size 4 fits

The size 4 replacing the size 3 ordered arrived yesterday. At least I can put it on. It is comfy and a good fit across my chest. I did expect more support at the shoulders to pull them back and thus hold me more upright.

With regards to the support provided by the tensors, they are designed to remind you to engage your posture rather than pull it into position for you. By doing so, your core muscles are engaged and strengthen over time. This is why we say it takes three weeks to feel an improvement, as it's a process of teaching your body what it needs to do and what feels right.

Good customer service and nice product, however...

Good customer service and nice product. Unfortunately the product was too small, and you must totally rely on the website to suggest the right size as they don't use 'standard' sizes or measurements. They offered me an easy return or exchange option but then I was responsible for the postage cost, and with a high value item it isn't cheap... I totally understand being responsible for return postage if you're at fault for ordering the wrong size, but here the sizing was totally out of my control.

*** EDIT: Offered me a refund on postage, asked for my bank details. That was two months ago and still not received. Multiple chase ups, always reply but never receive my money. Nice gesture but no results ***

Poor, very poor customer service. AVOID.

My wife bought one of the vests as a surprise for me. She ordered the size recommended by their website and it was too small despite correctly inputting all my details. I contacted Percko's customer services and after exchanging photo's showing how tight it was, they recommended exchanging it for a different size. They requested that I returned the original vest, at my own expense - £10 for tracking service, together with a returns form which clearly indicated I wanted an exchange for a larger size.
Simple, so I thought. Oh no, couldn't be more wrong.
No replacement vest was ever sent out. They have offered to refund us, but they are missing the point here. My wife had bought me something to try and help with my back, but all I ended up with was a lot of hassle. So now I have backache and a headache.
Thanks for that Percko, I will not be recommending your customer service or your vests!

Excellent customer service

Percko has been a very helpful company to deal with, the customer service is excellent. The only reason for my 4 star is that the lyne up female vest does not accomodate a larger bust size with a narrower longer body. I found it too short and very loose around my middle so not having the proper effect, I have ended up with the male tshirt which is longer but not really tight enough over my shoulders. It would be good if they had an option for a longer female version.
