I purchased a 2024 Vauxhall Mokka Electric from Pentagon Nottingham in early October 2025.
Before buying, both the salesperson and the signed order form clearly stated the mileage as 6,418 miles. However, when I collected the car on 15 October, the odometer showed around 8,000 miles.
I immediately raised this with Pentagon, but was told over the phone that I could only return the car for a refund — no reasonable compensation was offered. Later, the manager claimed that the higher mileage was “pre-advertised” on purpose and offered only a set of carpet mats, which I found inadequate.
This experience left me disappointed. I believe that accurate mileage should be clearly and honestly presented to customers before purchase. I hope Pentagon will review its internal communication and sales transparency to prevent similar issues in the future.
Update (20 Oct 2025): Pentagon Motor Group has replied asking me to contact their management team, but no contact details were provided.

Their reply completely ignores everything I actually wrote about — the poor communication, unreturned calls and emails, delays, and being repeatedly fobbed off.
Instead of acknowledging the poor service or offering an apology, they focused only on the warranty company declining the repair — something I already knew and even mentioned myself.
This total lack of accountability is exactly why I wrote this review. Pentagon Warrington seem incapable of recognising or responding to customer dissatisfaction. Even when directly told, they deflect, deny, and take no responsibility.
Now for context — here’s what actually happened:
⸻
I bought a Ford B-Max from another dealer with a warranty. When my car started juddering and losing power, I thought taking it to Ford Pentagon Warrington would give me the best care under warranty. I was so wrong.
They seem unaware of basic customer service: keeping customers informed, returning calls or emails, managing expectations, or showing any empathy. You have to chase for everything. They never apologise — they just don’t seem to care.
My first appointment took four weeks to get. My husband mentioned to the service agent Mark Llewellyn that it could be a Powershift/clutch issue (a known Ford fault). Mark was reassuring, but when the car came back, he said it only needed a software update — which I paid for — and to return if the problem continued.
The issue persisted. I rang back and waited another five weeks for an appointment. When I finally got through (after endless calls and ignored messages), I was told it needed another software update. I questioned how this could be better than the one I’d just paid for.
I spoke to Manager Caroline Wright, who admitted the mechanic “couldn’t justify” doing anything with the clutch but claimed the shuddering had “improved but not resolved.” She told me to drive it for a week, and if the problem continued, to drop the keys back anytime without waiting for another appointment. I reluctantly agreed.
When the second update didn’t fix it, I returned on 22 Sept. Mark said they’d investigate and be in touch. They weren’t.
After chasing by email and phone (again, no reply), I finally got a message saying they hadn’t even looked at the car and it would go in “early next week.” No apology, no update, no offer to return the car in the meantime.
It was finally checked on 30 Sept — after sitting there all week. This time, they said the clutch needed replacing — exactly what my husband had suggested months earlier.
When I asked questions about the clutch kit and warranty process, I got short, unhelpful answers. I had to chase repeatedly. Caroline’s tone was abrupt; emails went unanswered. I asked on 2 Oct for confirmation they’d contact my warranty company — no reply. My husband had to call days later before anything happened.
After weeks of delays, poor communication, dismissive attitudes, and repeated chasing, I decided not to give them any more of my money and took my car elsewhere.
On top of all this, the Ford Powershift automatic gearbox has a known design fault, with similar problems reported and claimed across the world. For a Ford-approved service centre to show no awareness — or worse, no concern — about these recurring issues shows a worrying level of carelessness and ignorance towards their customers.
This whole experience has honestly put me off the entire Ford brand, not just this dealership. For a main dealer, the standard of customer care here is shockingly poor. You expect professionalism, transparency, and respect — not silence and indifference.

Today, 16th October 2025, I arranged a day off work to take my Jaecoo 7 into the service department at Sheffield for a DAB issue which was scheduled to be repaired under warranty.
I dropped the car off at 8am when the department opened, I was informed it may not be ready till 5pm, which I accepted. At 3:15 pm I went to Sheffield, as I I hadn't heard any update, to be informed it hadn't been done, and eould not be done today. While the young lady on the reception was polite, and professional I feel the same cannot be said for her work colleagues. To expect people to take time off work and be without their car for a full day and still not have the problem resolved is disappointing to say the least.

Although it took a little longer than I expected due to obtaining parts, I am very happy with the work. Made my 7 year old car with just over 16,000 miles on the clock, look like new again, thanks

The customer service was super friendly and quick to reply.
My order arrived fast.
I'll definitely buy from Pentagon again!

Took our Vauxhall Corsa in with a charging issue. After around 5 hours they rang and said there wasn’t any fault despite showing them evidence of the issue. Found out they simply plugged a diagnostic machine in which would’ve taken 2 mins. Spoke to the workshop manager who after myself explaining the issue with him said I could leave it with them. I said what would you do with it ?? He shrugged his shoulders and said I don’t know ??
Said he would look into it and despite me make making numerous phone calls and the service reception being rude and telling me nobody from the workshop can come to the phone the problem remains unresolved!!!

We purchased a used Ford Ranger in February 2024 with a 5-year Pentagon warranty. Unfortunately, the truck has already developed several issues that should be covered under the warranty.
This is where the real problem begins. Despite numerous attempts, I have been unable to speak to anyone directly—always being pushed to use an online portal. I emailed on 12th August asking to be contacted urgently and only received an automated acknowledgment. Weeks passed with no follow-up.
On 2nd September, I tried live chat and was initially reassured, but once again, no one has followed up. It’s now 1st October, and I am still waiting for any meaningful response.
If I had seen these reviews before, I would never have spent £35,000 with this company. Their customer service is beyond disappointing, and I feel completely let down.
If anyone from Pentagon actually reads these reviews my extended warranty number is PENTA1019435 I'm sure you can pull up my details and contact me before I look at other avenues to pursue this.

Matt was great in making a video of the car and going over in detail all the imperfections in the bodywork and showing that the car was working perfectly. It was not possible to visit the car prior to travelling to Derby to collect the car. Matt even picked us up at the station and took us round to Pentagon. The car is great. Tips: check all the car systems function to your satisfaction before taking the car away, good advice everywhere probably. All in all a great positive experience.

The only gripe I have was the delay in picking up my car from the local garage where it was (they had been unable to mend it). I understand that you are very busy but it meant I was without a car for a week until the courtesy car arrived and as I live in the country, a mile away from the nearest bus route and 3 miles from the nearest shop, made life a little difficult. Otherwise I could not fault the service, the people I dealt with either on the phone or in person. The fact that the car's return was delayed for a week by a drunk deciding to hurl himself at the car as it was being driven back to me, has left me with a story I can dine out on for months!

The Renault dealership is terrible. I never had such bad customer service. They don't answer phones, don't return calls. If you do buy a car don't expect them to honour the warranty.....
Edit 15/9/25
Thanks for your reply, but have contacted you directly/ Renault Uk and seems that nobody in your organisation is actually bothered about the lack of customer service.

Recently purchased a new work van with the help of Amelia, she was very helpful and supportive with this purchase. I would definitely return to this dealership and recommend to others.

Awful. Went to check a car i had reserved with cash in place. They failed to tell me about a big dent right through a style line and botched amateur attempt to cover it up by the previous owner. Scuffed front wing and big dent in the bonnet. None of this was shown in photos.
It go worse when I got in the car which smelled absolutely horrendous and the speedometer screen was scratched really badly. The pictures did show the screen but it looked like it just hadn't been dried after being wiped. Nothing else was clear from the pictures.
On top of that the rear fold down drinks holder was absolutely filthy and still covered in coffee, obviously missed by the valeters.
It was obvious to me the car had not been checked over before I arrived and the salesman claimed he couldn't smell anything bad (absolute garbage). He also said if I'd have asked him, he would have told me about any problems...how about just being upfront, honest and knowing what you're selling. It would've taken a few minutes to look it over, it took me less than 2 minutes to see for myself.
I had reserved this car DAYS before I went to look at it, there's no excuse. Completely unprepared and obviously not bothered about the sale.
By contrast, I have just put a new deposit on a car elsewhere and they have sent a brand new video documenting the condition of the whole car in detail, without being prompted to do so. I will not bother with Pentagon in the future.

I bought a car from Pentagon Peugeot Burton on Trent less than a year ago. Since then the car has broken down multiple times. Whilst the car was under warranty they did fix the car, however once the warranty ran out they did absolutely nothing to help, leaving me stranded and wouldn't even supply me with a courtesy car. The car finance company are now dealing with the situation and even they are finding the dealerships customer support hard to get in contact with as all they do is pass the book. They've made their sale, that's all they care about!

David was very helpful. Even moved a car all the way from Lincoln for me.

I have used this garage for years and I can say that today was the best customer service ever. Every one was extremely helpful, was kept informed throughout and my car returned by lunch time. My only tip do not use the Seat online booking - call direct they are far more helpful.
