WOW WOW WOW! Held my wedding at Pennard House on the 24.08.2024. What an amazing venue with incredible staff. From the time of our arrival on the Friday until we left on the Sunday, the entire staff (front facing and those working behind the scenes) went above and beyond for me and my family and to make my wedding better than I had dreamed it would be. Guests even commented it’s the best wedding and venue (with their pristine gardens) they have ever been too.

Charlie and Ellie were fabulous and nothing was ever too much trouble, They kept everything on track from getting me ready, to father daughter reveal and escorting me and the bridesmaids to the beautiful All Saints Church all the way to the end of our wedding reception, it all went so perfectly. All our guests have commented on how friendly and professional all of the staff were with smiling faces. Massive thanks to Denise the catering manager and her team, whose food was superb and is still being talked about. Guests commented that they had never seen so many empty plates at a wedding.

Charlie and Ellie were professional and efficient but also easygoing and felt like friends and were by my side every step of the way. The house was like a home away from home, the food and breakfasts from helga were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, she even helped my grandad who has got Alzheimer’s and made him feel extremely comfortable. All the staff in the house the night before, wedding morning and morning after were fabulous and I cannot thank them enough.

From the minute we viewed Pennard and decided to book, the whole process was so professional, efficient and organised. It was amazing to attend the food tasting day which helped us choose our menu and canapés. The communication from Pennard/Charlie running up to the wedding was fabulous and made me feel relaxed and at ease leading up to the wedding and on the day. Every detail was thought of and managed perfectly even Charlie showing me how to hang my dress to ensure no creases the night before.

Me and my family will be forever grateful to every member of the Pennard House staff for making mine and Rich’s wedding weekend more than perfect! I will remember it forever. :)

This family-owned country estate is a hidden gem in the rolling Somerset countryside, and its dreamy English elegance makes it a truly special venue.

Pennard House is an exclusive use wedding and events venue, perfect for anyone looking for something a little different. The venue offers a tailor-made event, uniquely designed to perfectly suit your style. From the moment my clients arrived, they felt right at home, and the day was truly special and personal to them.

The Grade II listed Manor House has a homely feel, with grand reception rooms and luxury bedrooms, all set in 4 acres of lush gardens and surrounded by 180 acres of meadows, woodlands, and apple orchards. The converted Coach House event venue is ideal for all manners of parties and was the perfect setting for my clients' celebration.

In addition to the stunning Manor House, the surrounding grounds of Pennard House are simply breathtaking. The croquet lawn, tipis in the garden, and freshwater swimming lake all add to the truly English setting, and I was able to capture some truly stunning images.

Overall, I would highly recommend Pennard House as a wedding venue. The venue offers a unique and personal experience, and the stunning setting provides endless opportunities for beautiful wedding photographs. I was truly grateful to be a part of such a special day, and I am confident that any couple who chooses to hold their wedding at Pennard House will have a truly unforgettable experience.
