Spoke to Joey at Customer Service today about my order, and not only did he advise me about my ordered product but he gave me advice on set up, and options to choose a more scalable model. I really appreciated his candour, attitude and customer focus. Well done Joey and PC renewed. I'd recommend them to my friends, family and neighbours.

Ordered a thinkpad from PC Renewed a month ago and so far its running great.

Item turned up in great condition (well packed,) clean and running well with no issues at all. Ive installed all programs Ive needed with no trouble, and had quick responses from the team about order updates as they went on. They also shared information about the stages of the renewal in the emails which I appreciated.

I would recommend them, and will certainly use again if there was ever a need.

Absolutely over the moon. Fantastic price and my surface pro looks and works like it was brand new. Only 36 cycles on the battery.

I ordered a Lenovo Thinkpad L14 Gen 1 in late January. Although it was a gift for me, I chose and ordered what I wanted. Initially looked on eBay and contacted a seller, I was expecting a half-response but Joey got back to me promptly with an answer and I was allowed to delay the order. Joey also answered my various other silly questions and I ended up ordering from their website in the end as I prefer to go direct if I can.

The options to spec it etc were great and I requested a unit with >80% battery life which I duly got. The 2-year warranty is also a great touch (the additional year is extra cost) as well. I had a bit of an issue with choosing and ordering RAM but after sending photos of a RAM stick I'd purchased, Joey said that they would ship it with the same 16GB RAM module, so I now have 32GB!

The laptop itself was in almost perfect condition; you would not be able to tell that it is not new from looking at it. Very slight mark/scuff on the bottom but to be expected with used laptops. I believe they wrap the outside in vinyl wrap and this makes it look brand new. Everything worked perfectly and this range of ThinkPads are lovely machines. I am dual-booting OSs and this works very well on the ThinkPad.

I had a very minor issue in that I ordered a blue lid but it was shipped with the standard black. On contacting pcrenewed this was quickly sorted and a blue template of the wrap was sent the next day, although I think I will keep the black now!

Absolutely top service from start to finish. I have experienced so much awful service over the years and the refurb market can have its pitfalls but pc renewed were excellent and deserve credit. Would 100% reccommend.

Short story - good communication, great value, excellent warranty (I've not had to use that but my feeling is they will stand behind it). Delivery is pretty slow - expect a week or so - but if you're not in a rush it's worth the wait.

Long story - I've bought a couple of old ThinkPads from these folks. One had their standard windows install and vinyl wrap - it was great, no complaints, but the wrap was very slightly annoying to me (it's really not obvious that it's wrapped at all except the edges feel a bit sharp).

For the second purchase I asked that they not add the wrap, and also not bother with Windows as I was installing Linux. The were able to provide a machine to that spec no problem.

I'd deffo buy from them again.

This afternoon I took delivery of a Lenovo Thinkpad L14 G2 with i5-1145g7 CPU but with ssd upgraded from 256GB to 1TB and RAM also raised from 16 to 32GB. They also made sure the BIOS/UEFI was as up to date as possible; fantastic service, making me feel a valued customer.
After several discussions with PC-R sales personnel, particularly Joey and Paul, I also did not have the usual Windows 11 installed but had a totally clean 1TB ssd on which I have this evening installed Linux-Mint-22.3, having been a Linux user for 21 years. I was aware before I bought this machine that it is one of the Ubuntu Certified laptops so there was little likelihood of any real difficulties; that turned out to be even better than I expected
What a fantastic combination they have turned out to be!
The Laptop appears to be completely new, runs better and much faster than I had anticipated and I am simply stunned at the ease and speed of this whole purchase.
I had bought a refurbished laptop before but from another UK company which was very good but they could not, or would not, sell a laptop without an OS so i came to PCR instead.
Real 5 star service for which I'm incredibly grateful.
If I need any more computer hardware I am certain where I shall look first!

Did my research using Claude.ai before committing to a refurbished laptop, and PCRenewed came out on top. Glad I went with it.

I cannot thank Joey and Lewis (Hamilton?) enough for the online help they gave me today salvaging my highly valued Microsoft Office apps and importantly 'Publisher' for offline (lifetime licence) use in advance of Microsoft dumping Publisher in October 2026.

I live outside the UK and had problems with their website accepting my order for a laptop. I phoned customer support and was greeted by a guy called 'Joey'. I explained my issues.
He took ownership of the problem, and said he'd call me back in 10 mins.
True to his word, he called having found the best solution.
Only a week later the laptop arrived with all the requested BIOS settings.
As for the laptop, the condition was indisguishable from new. I thoroughly checked every aspect of the hardware, it's performance and tested various operating systems.
Everything is perfect! A big thank you to PCrenewed.co.uk. In a world of 'chatbots', LLM's posing as intelligence, etc, We need more 'Joey's', Thanks dude!

I bought a laptop from PC Renewed back in August and had a small issue with the charging port. I wasn’t sure where I stood with customer service, so I reached out—half expecting a long process. Instead, within a couple of days they sent me a brand-new charger!

I thanked them but mentioned the connection was still a bit wobbly. To my surprise, they emailed again offering a simple repair, a returns label, and to sort it all out for me. Honestly—wow.

Very accommodating, willing to supply a laptop without Windows and with a BIOS that will boot from a USB drive straight out of the box. A good price and the computer looks like new - about £100 cheaper than another refurbisher who insisted they install Windows. Quickly set my mind at rest over a very minor communications glitch. To explain, I use a Linux operating system, so have to install it myself from USB

Had an excellent experience with pcrenewed.
Having ordered the wrong pc in the first instance, they found me a replacement that was more to my liking, which wasn't easy to do.
Now have a laptop which does exactly what I wanted and looks like new.

I bought a refurbished Lenovo laptop from PCRenewed some 6 months ago. The price was good and delivery was prompt.

But there were a couple of problems - and the way the company dealt with them justifies a five-star review. The first laptop I received was faulty (a non-functioning screen). The company immediately agreed to its return - at their expense - and to the supply of a replacement. This arrived promptly .... and the company also offered to extend the warranty from 12 to 18 months.

Some time later, I discovered that the laptop, which was originally designed and built with two batteries (an internal and an external one) did not have the internal battery installed. I informed PCRenewed. While they said that they did not guarantee to provide two batteries in a dual-battery laptop, they nevertheless agreed to provide the missing battery, at no charge. It arrived a few days later.

The real test of a company's customer service is how they respond when things don't go smoothly, or when problems crop up. This experience shows that PCRenewed are getting it right.

For that reason I am happy to recommend them, and will certainly look to them if or when I need to buy any more computers.

Minor issue with specific model sent was proactively dealt with in minutes via their customer services (who really did want to sort out the issue!)

Incredibly happy with the X280 Thinkpad I purchased a few months ago. Initially hesitant about buying refurbished, but this purchase changed my perception. Arrived promptly in Grade A condition as advertised, and came with the official Lenovo cable. Performance is outstanding , with AI tools like Gemini and ChatGPT running smoothly with no lags and the internal speakers are great quality. Only minor issue I've encountered so far is having to restart the laptop sometimes from the login screen when the keyboard doesn't respond, but it's not very often. Highly recommend PC Renewed for anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality device and customer service at an excellent price.
