Absolutely useless. They just close a case with no opportunity to redress. The company sent out the goods, courier says they were delivered. This was not the case. The intermediate courier passes it... See more

Their customer service; their ability to fairly and transparently resolve disputes; and easily accessing money paid on your account are now things of the past! It is a bother to deal with PayPal now.

Bixby it's response to the little people of repayment for their mess up. O o'wal

It’s honestly beyond frustrating. As a single father with three kids, I’ve been up for over 30 hours since yesterday morning, and this stress is truly exhausting. The fact that DoorDash and PayPal can take my money instantly but take days to process a refund for their own errors, like the canceled order from Sarah's Kitchen, is unacceptable, especially when other options like Klarna are available. This delay left me with a negative balance, causing immediate financial hardship and preventing me from providing dinner. The mental stress and total lack of accountability, from payment to botched delivery and customer service, is truly unacceptable. At least my kids' dinner was delivered, but that doesn't negate the overall negative impact."

this is by far the worst banking app…

this is by far the worst banking app that they have out there I got some cryptocurrency to me yesterday and all of a sudden after I was verifying my identity by my biometrics and by my code that they send to your phone it started saying we can't verify it's you we're having a hard time verifying that you or however they say it and so I called them and was on the phone with them for an hour and a half for them to tell me oh give it 24 hours and you know try again and wouldn't do nothing to fix it to help me and that's all the money that I had and I was stuck out of town with my 4-year-old son at home waiting for me to get back And no way back because I couldn't get my money so I tried this morning and it's doing the same thing it ended up letting me actually sell $200 and then letting me send $20 and then it started doing the the messages again they couldn't verify it was me so I called them back and I messaged them in the app and in the app they just repeat the same things over and over and you can't get heads or tails out of them so I called their phone number back And the same thing give it a full 24 hours because it's the system security and I said well I don't care I was doing my biometrics and I was doing the pen that they send to your phone and there was no reason for the system to even put this block or whatever it is on my PayPal to where I couldn't do nothing with it I can't even sell it and they keep telling me oh we'll just sell it and put it in another account while I can't even do that I keep trying to explain to him so I can't get nothing out of them but they're telling me to wait another 24 hours so we'll see if it works tomorrow morning If it don't if anybody has any suggestions about what I should do about it let me know?
UPDATE: NOW THEY'RE TELLING ME ON THE APP THAT IT'LL BE A WEEK BECAUSE I CHANGED INFORMATION ON MY PAYPAL THAT I DIDN'T CHANGE THEY CHANGE THEY CHANGED MY PHONE NUMBER BACK TO MY OLD PHONE NUMBER IF THEY SAID IT COULD HAVE BEEN BECAUSE OF MY PHONE SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WHAT TO BELIEVE OR WHAT ANYTHING OUT OF THESE PEOPLE

Scam

Today I was scammed by a fraudulent company, informed PayPal only to be told to raise a complaint, it's impossible if the company has stolen my money.

Press to pay £8.99
Charged £59.97

It was a fraud, but PayPal don't care.

Deleting PayPal asap I have already deleted my card off it.

It's fine until you need help, there is no way to contact them for help.

I have replied to their request and they have still refused to reimburse me the £50 they blatantly stole from me

I used paypal to buy some trading robots from a conpny aierio that i later found out sell priducts that do not work.
I opened a case in paypal only to find out that paypal upheld the claim in sellers favour.
It appears that paypal pay scammers if they provide something whether or not it works.

scammers

I am submitting a formal consumer complaint regarding Creative Fabrica B.V., based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
A charge was applied to my account for a Studio AI subscription without my clear understanding.when I registered to the Studio Al I I didn't notice that will be charges from using it the instructions weren't clear for me so I understand that I have free trial one month how come the refund doesn't accept even the policy doesn't clear to me. I contacted Creative Fabrica’s support team to request a refund, explaining that . However, my request was refused / not resolved.
I believe this practice is unfair, particularly regarding automatic subscription charges for digital services without clear consumer consent or adequate refund options.
I am kindly requesting your assistance in reviewing this matter and supporting a fair resolution

After fourteen years of being a loyal…

After fourteen years of being a loyal customer they will and truly let me down and sided with a big company who proved themselves to be liars! Unbelievable and shameful. Easier to pick on an individual I guess rather than a company. I will no longer ever use PayPal again after this most disappointing experience. Basically I bought something from Debenhams online using PayPal, it was wrong, didn't fit, I sent it back with the instructions included, then when they failed to refund my account back to PayPal, I launched a dispute, it has gone on for three months now with PayPal having all the evidence requested from me that it was returned, then they say but it wasn't too the tracking we provided so they are studying with Debenhams, who lied by saying they had sent a refund but didn't. Now PayPal want me to pay the £356 for an item I don't even have! That they have evidence from me was returned. What happened to my statutory rights PayPal? Debenhams? I'm not paying, over my dead body. Just such a shame it's come to this. They say it's because I didn't use their tracking which I didn't even know about until after I had been so efficient as to already send the item back. Sorry, my fault for not being a mind reader I guess! Anyway, I would avoid at all costs. I'm sure it's good for other things, but please be careful if you use credit and have to return anything to the seller. Dispute is still ongoing since November by the way even tho they say it's closed and they refuse to do anymore. Not that they actually bothered doing anything to retrieve the money from Debenhams anyway. They kept asking me to add then when I did they still rejected it!

I paid for an order

I paid for an order, and right after that the seller charged me again for a service I never ordered and never authorized. That is an unauthorized charge, plain and simple.

When I reported this, PayPal denied my claim saying that “if an item is materially similar to the seller’s description, it is not considered significantly not as described.” This response makes no sense. My claim was not about the item or its description. It was about money being taken without my consent.

Who cares if an item matches a description when the real problem is that a seller is taking money they were never allowed to take? That is not a mistake, that is theft.

It feels like PayPal Support did not even read my claim properly. After many years of using PayPal, I am closing my account. Banks take unauthorized charges seriously. PayPal clearly does not!

Since 1 star is the lowest rating I can give, I am forced to choose it. Otherwise, I would give PayPal a 0 without hesitation.

We have used PayPal as a payment…

We have used PayPal as a payment provider for our business and this experience has confirmed why so many merchants warn against them.

A buyer incorrectly installed an item, refused to troubleshoot, then opened a “not as described” claim. PayPal required a return. The buyer sent the item back using a courier that left the parcel outside our closed premises, unattended, with no signature or handover. The courier marked it as “signed” despite nobody accepting delivery.

We never received the item. PayPal refunded the buyer anyway.

Despite clear photographic evidence showing the parcel left outside shutters and no proof that the seller ever regained possession, PayPal considered this a “successful delivery”. This ignores basic commercial reality: delivery is not the same as receipt.

As a business, we lost both the product and £339.99, plus fees, purely because PayPal defaulted to the easiest outcome rather than a fair one. Phone support simply repeats scripts and ignores evidence. There is no meaningful accountability, no proper appeal process, and no understanding of how real businesses operate.

PayPal may be convenient for buyers, but it is actively dangerous for sellers. If you value your stock, your time, or your sanity, do not rely on PayPal for dispute resolution.

We are now reducing and phasing out PayPal entirely.

Solicitors have been instructed.

$477.70 Held for 180+ Days - Systematic Deception by PayPal Philippines

I am a victim of systematic deception by PayPal Philippines. My $477.70 USD has been held for over 180 days. Even after the completion of the 180-day period, every single withdrawal attempt is being DENIED without any valid reason.
I have been misled by 9 different agents (Adnan, Shubham, Zohaib, Jasmin, Daphne, Wali, Dhruv, Shabanaz, & Ghazali) who repeatedly gave me false promises and told me to "wait for 72 hours."
Case ID: PP-L_560589870250
I have already filed a formal complaint with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). This is pure financial harassment and a violation of consumer rights. I demand my funds immediately!

Do not use Paypal. It goes in favor of the seller

Paypal has not considered the information sent and has donated it to the seller in a flagrant case of inoperability of the seller (Vicinityclo.de), which does not provide more people in its customer service. It also sets up automatic payments without your consent. I'd never needed PayPal before. Now I know it's useless. Beware. Look for another payment platform.

Paypal supporting scams

When I contacted PayPal for help after being scammed by Domestika, the response was purely a box-checking exercise. Yes, Domestika may technically follow the rules, but as many users are aware, they rely heavily on dark patterns to lure customers into subscriptions they don’t intend to sign up for. Unfortunately, I fell into one of those traps.

I’ve been a PayPal customer for many years, and this experience made it clear that PayPal does not meaningfully protect its users in situations like this. By siding with companies that use deceptive practices, PayPal is effectively signaling that this behavior is acceptable and will continue to be supported.

This has shown me I’m better off relying directly on my bank, where there is at least some level of customer advocacy. Seeing PayPal’s low rating on Trustpilot is not surprising after this experience.

You’ve lost a long-time customer. One account may not matter on its own, but over time, these decisions do add up.

I called PayPal because they win venmo and nothing nobody can help? I just want to withdraw my money and close these accounts!!! I will never ever use these services again for anything not a dollar transaction ever! I have a business and you will never make a penny on any transactions best of luck

The credit account is really difficult

The credit account is really difficult. They don't allow balance transfers. It is like you will pay them for the eternity and you will never be able to escape . There is no way to make an adjustment to pay your debt and also you can't close the account with a balance. You need to clear it before you will be able to close. On the telephone call, they were not helpful at all

They're asking me to pay for receiving a damaged item.

I chose PayPal France thinking I would have the purchase protection they promise, but they offer absolutely no protection! When ordering from one of their merchants, I received a damaged item. The seller isn't responding to their direct customer service, so I opened a case with PayPal because that's precisely why I chose PayPal—to protect myself from this kind of situation. They're demanding that I return the item to their merchant AT MY OWN EXPENSE, even though it costs €25!! Can you imagine?! Basically, I'm the one who has to pay because I received a damaged item…
