Great service all round. Kevin laid the carpet. He worked with care and precision—a very clean and tidy worker. Up to now, we are pleased with the carpet and fitting. Looks great. Highly recommended.

wouldn’t use again and they won’t comeback again. Owner , Mr Paul David has a terrible attitude, his brother, Jason was caught on cctv taking away an expensive box of karndean flooring which I had paid for.
Also had a little damp problem at the front door area of my new extension, caused by the builder. They came out twice in the past eight months , saying it’s still damp. The problem was corrected they then said they would not come out anymore, I paid 4k and offered to pay extra to come out.
The floor fitter became pally with the builder, that just sums it up. Two people doing the pro verbial in the bucket.

Salesman is good , however that’s about it. Typical, take a new job and then leave you when theirs a small problem.

Paid to have cushion floor fitted to our caravan awful job, gaps left in places, other places not cut enough so floor bubbling, after I had cut around the edges properly hoovered it and the floor just lifts so either no or very little spray glue used didn't bother ringing the shop after seeing the other bad reviews just wish I had checked reviews before paying but because I had used them a few years before I didn't. Clearly gone down hill with the fitters they employ.fitters answer to my missus just needs chalk around the edges.

I would not recommend this company at all.
1. On Friday I went down to pay at 2pm (they advertise open until 3:30pm). The shop was shut, blinds down, so I’d paid for an Uber for nothing. No apology when I rang either.
2. On fitting day, the fitters left my divan bed completely dismantled and just rushed off without putting it back together. At no point were we told the room had to be totally empty. I even told the woman in the shop beforehand there would still be a wardrobe and bed in the room, and I wrote it down on a note I gave her. Still, no apology – just a rude, dismissive attitude on the phone.
3. My dad, who’s 70 with arthritis, rang to complain because we were both struggling to move things. He said how shocking the service was, and instead of helping, the woman passed the phone to the fitter. The fitter then shouted “are you f***ing deaf?” at my dad when he couldn’t hear properly. Aggressive, unprofessional and completely unacceptable.

The carpet itself might be fine, but the way we were treated was awful – rude staff, no care given, and outright hostility. Definitely not how customers should be treated.

Terrible experience, carpet fitter left a gap in cupboard, carpet has lines in it, he used old underlay didn't offer me new stuff, and left before I could check practically ran out the door didn't offer me metal runner were carpet stops, just spoke to carpet fitter finally after 5 days and his attitude was disgusting telling me it wasn't his fault for the gap he didn't measure it, well neither did I!! And if it didn't fit he should of just said I stead of leaving it looking like a disgrace! I will never use this place again avoid!!

Had my kitchen and hall layed with cushion floor .when the fitters left I noticed a hole in my fridge .long story but the fitter offered me £60 the price of fitting .After a few calls the fitter said Paul told him of and he had to sort it out .anyway the fitter said one of the men in pauls shop said he new a man from St Helen that can fix it .when he came to fix it nearly a week later the man said to me he was the fitters friend .I asked him if he had the experience to fix the hole he said he did . And his dad will come help him put fridge in garden .knock on door the man opened the door and it was the fitter not his dad .when they finished the said don't touch fridge till dry and he took a photo then left .Next morning I looked at fridge hole still there I took pic and phoned fitter he sad they will do it again I told him I speak to Paul his reply was do what you want .he said there's other marks on fridge .I went to pauls spoke to him he sad they didn't do the hole that I done it he phoned fitter and said to send him the pic what his friend took showed me there was nothing on it .I showed hi the pic I took that morning he said I done it .Never use that place again

Shop staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Prices were very competitive and not pushy. It was a few months from getting the quote to booking in the job. Had the entire house done with herringbone laminate apart from the stairs and landing which was carpeted, and the entire downstairs floor screeded and upstairs laid with 6mm ply first. 3 days were estimated to complete the work. Fitters were on time and left to get on with the job, calling with updates each day. The finish was excellent and better than we could have hoped for. Thank you

Shop staff were able to help us choose the right carpet for our house and carpet fitter Pete was really courteous and efficient in fitting the carpet. We are really pleased with the result and would highly recommend Paul's Carpets.

Young lad come out to measure shown me all samples on Monday, earliest to book fitting was Saturday. Two men come on time, done an excellent job, and helped me put my corner couch back together. Excellent job from beginning to end, and cheaper than anywhere els. I would definitely be using these all the time. Highly recommended I couldn’t thank you more.

Kevin fitted carpet yesterday and work was absolutely brilliant, thank you! Totally blown away by the work completed by Matt and Cameron, Freddie must be so proud. They’ve done work before for me with laying flooring so I just had to ask for them again, no disrespect to the others though. From start to finish they knew what I wanted, explained how they would do it and cleaned up as they went along. First rate job and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. It’s so nice when you get such a good service, especially from all 3 workers. You’ve made me so happy and I feel like I’ve got a new house xx

you buy a carpet but they will not leave off cuts like many other carpet suppliers and ofcourse these remnants are useful for putting under furniture etc. You pay for it remember

Pauls Carpets, Kirkby, Liverpool, Merseyside. If you are looking for a carpet look no further than the above. I give them 5 star rating, and I am not easy to please. Ask for the Manager Dave who will do exactly what it says on the tin. No frills no mess just good service. The fitters Robbie and his son I can't say enough good things about, brilliant, friendly excellent at the job. Will use again no messing.

The girl who ran the shop great helpful polite, then to blokes turned up 3hrs late , carpet not fitted correct, then the bits of pile left from cutting left all over , left hall door off said it needs to be cut , to close above the carpet , the kitchen door that was left on didn't even close
And digs into chrome finisher , then i walked out of the front door all the bits of offcuts left all over front path with bits of the chrome finisher as well as bits of gripper rods , the van turned up absolutely filthy! ! My first thought was let's hope his work boots are cleaner than his van , if he's going to walk on my carpet , I don't know what part of the company they represent? But if they just work for Paul himself? Well them 2 men will not be able to carpet over the terrable advertisement they gave for Paul carpets !! Attitude absolutely dire! They said without saying it carnt be arsed !!! Shame really because the girl in the shop , I showed her what colours I'd decorated in , an what carpet would she recamend, colour wise , she went straight to it ! I didn't have to look at any others, that was it , nice one chuck !!! Pity about Stan an olly , jst glad I didn't need a piano moving !!!@

Salesman man amazing so helpful... but thats were the good news ends.... fitter was shocking left our house an absolute mess. Took us 6 hours to get it back togeterger.... was obviously in a rush as we heard him on the phone to his mates saying ill be round soon..... kids duvets lashed over the toilet system beds left against the wall and lots more bad attitude. I sent pictures to paul the owner and he didnt ecen have the manners to ring me back. So i believe his is the core problem of this amateur outfit dont touch them with a barge pole.... that great salesmsn we met at the start you should get a job at a proper outfit your are too good for these amateurs

Only used this company on 2 occasions and both times the fitters were terrible. 1st time had carpet supplied and fitted. The fitter spent all his time with his phone stuck to his ear arranging a night out. Left a big chunk of carpet sticking out that I had to cut off. 2nd time had lino supplied and fitted. 2 blokes turned up and seemed in a desperate rush to get the job done in record time. Glue EVERYWHERE. Spent ages cleaning up. Terrible fitting job - had to re-glue several bits and had to trim a ragged edge. Not impressed. Not much cheaper than main High Street carpet company either.

Great service from Paul and his team, already this year they’ve done several large jobs for us at Velocity trampoline parks, spaceworld in Prescot and Otterspool adventures, all done on time, polite fitters and a clean job and a fair price, we would recommend them. Used Paul's Carpets on a few occasions now and wouldn't go anywhere else. Really cheap compared to other local shops and bigger retailers but the same if not better quality Carpet. The staff are all extremely helpful and will aim to meet your needs within your budget.
