Absolutely outstanding support from Jonathan at Pandle!
I can’t thank him enough for his incredible patience and persistence. I’m not the quickest when it comes to understanding accounting systems, but Jonathan never made me feel rushed or silly. I had a problem using Pandle and raised a query. James responded immediately with a solution. Brilliant service.

Just started to use Pandle alongside my current accounting sheets so far so good. Pandle basic is totally free of charge and is certainly good enough for my small business. Takes a bit of getting used to but what doesnt however there is plenty of help available online in helping navigate around Pandle. Its worth using so just try it.

This accountancy software is extremely slow compared to other options on the market. It consistently takes an excessive amount of time to load and process transactions.

Pandle's online support team fails to provide adequate assistance for complicated errors. When issues are too time-consuming to resolve, they suggest that you pay for bookkeeping services from their parent company. This is unacceptable.

I have encountered numerous errors this year that have thrown my accounts out of balance. The rules I created, which have not changed, no longer function correctly, and multiple errors have compounded the issue.

I have formally requested a full investigation into these matters but have not received a comprehensive response. Pandle’s seemingly reluctance to offer a detailed explanation appears to be a strategy to coerce me into paying for bookkeeping services.

Despite my requests for an investigation, I was informed that I needed to pay for bookkeeping. The parent company (accountancy partnership) outright refused to file my accounts until this bill was settled, leaving me uncertain regarding my actual liability for the charges. This situation is unacceptable.

There is a lot to like about Pandle - it has a very good range of features for the price, it's simple to use, for the most part it works smoothly, and perhaps one of the most attractive aspects is the price, which is pretty much unmatched in the current market.

However, there are a few drawbacks to be aware of, the main ones I have discovered so far are as follows:

- Limited reporting options. Eg, the P&L only allows one period of account to be presented - no monthly or quarterly breakdowns and no comparisons with previous periods. Although this limitation can be overcome by exporting data to Excel, it would be nice to have more reporting flexibility within Pandle itself.
- No proper audit trail. If there is more than one user then there is no way to prove who did what and when entries were entered/modified. I very much hope this can be addressed in a future update.
- Whilst the projects feature is very nicely presented, there is no way to properly split individual supplier invoices between projects, which creates an issue if you need to easily allocate costs to each project. There is no option either to reallocate costs to projects via journal entries.
- Other than the projects feature, which is quite limited as above, there is no other means of tracking transactions by department, location, etc.
- If you place heavy reliance on importing data into Pandle (eg supplier invoices exported from data capture software), it seems that the processing time for data imports can fluctuate, with the system apparently freezing at certain times.

There is no doubt that Pandle is an excellent option for small businesses - sole traders, one/two person companies, etc. There are certain limitations compared to the bigger players in the market, but there are enough excellent features, coupled with the very reasonable price, that make Pandle a very attractive proposition.

Good software and easy to use.

I have been working with Pandle for more than 5 years, and it is such a straightforward software perfect for busy independent professionals that need to keep up with HMRC obligations. The software keeps getting better but to me the support is crucial. The AI capability is helpful but sometimes you need a more organic explanation when there is a glitch! I recently experienced a glitch with my bank feeds and panicked as 3 days i kept looking into the issue and needed to submit the VAT return but with no time to upload the bank statements to map it in the software, I was patiently helped by one of the support team Ben Salisbury. He helped me at his end overcome the tech glitch and by magic my bank feed were there enable me to do the work I needed to do quick and efficiently. Big thank you for help!

Connor resolved my issue correctly and immediately. Good service, which is a far cry from a few years ago when I first started using the software and they wouldn't even acknowledge crystal-clear evidence of issues. Glad to see the improvement.
