This appeared to be a scam. So sorry we did not leave the tour, as we got suspicious right from the beginning. Only afterwards we found a lot of negative reviews about Mathew, completely recognisable. Paid way too much. Hardly any adequate and professional information, Matthew certainly wasn’t a former student and the silly jokes were not what we came for. Don’t book this!
I went on an official guided walk of Oxford and our guide, Alan was so knowledgeable. He explained so much of the history of the colleges which made it so much more interesting. It was well worth the two hours, in fact he went over his time and was happy to do so. I would certainly recommend this tour, so helpful in many ways.
