Great product

Great product! Life changing for my Cockapoo with megaesphogus. Keeps him from eating everything he sees outside. Now he can run and play in the yard. Great service. Quick delivery

I bought this product to protect my dogs' ears from grass seed in the Fall. It works well for this. My only complaint is the black mesh. It looks scary on the dogs (frightens other people on the trail) and impairs the dogs' vision, causing them to bump into me a lot when wearing the hoods.

Hello Lori. Thank you for your feedback and for sharing how well the OutFox Field Guard works for your dog! We understand your preference for a different color. The Field Guard is designed in black because it’s the easiest color for dogs to see through and reduces glare, making it more comfortable for them to wear. Black also helps dogs be less aware of the mesh, allowing them to adjust more easily. We've explored options for a mesh with a different color on the outside while keeping the black interior for visibility, but unfortunately, we haven't found any that match the quality we prioritize. We appreciate your understanding and support!"

Great product, responsive company

I needed the masks asap because I had lost one (I have two dogs). The company was very responsive and turned the order around in just a couple of days. I love the masks, the dogs do very well with them. Foxtails are expensive, I just spent $1000, $500 per dog four days apart. Because I didn't have the masks on! That won't happen again. It's an amazing product.

Dogs tolerate them well

Shipped immediately with good instructions on how to fit it and put it on. To my surprise, my German Shepherds tolerated them well. There was a little pawing for a few minutes the first time, and since then they seem not to mind. I pulled two evil foxtails that were trapped by the net during the very first walk :(

We love and depend on these to keep our dog free of porcupine quills. She runs in the woods, swims, and solo adventures off leash. The guard is well made and holds up for a reasonable amount of time. We never mind replacing it because one vet visit = $300+

Works Great! Even for a picky dog!

What a great product! Less than an hour into using it my dog was comfortable and running around (not pawing at it or shaking his head to get it off). He figured out how to drink water through it immediately and it did not seem to impact his ability to do so in any way. One roll in a bed of foxtails later, the OutFox Field Guard was COATED in foxtails, but none on my dog's face/ears! It works!

The Outfox Field guard has been a life…

The Outfox Field guard has been a life saver for our dogs. Without them we have had to take them to the vet at least once each season to remove foxtails from various parts of their bodies. Once one dog had a six-inch blade of grass that had to be removed from her nose. I won't take the dogs hiking without the guards.

Great product - money well spent!

Best money spent. It is such a relief to let my dog run around in foxtail areas and know her nose, eyes, mouth and ears are protected. She doesn't even know she has it on. I have used it for years. I bought the first one after a complicated procedure to remove a nasal foxtail. He was a big, goofy Pitbull mix who loved to go on hikes. While wearing it, he swam, drank water, carried his ball and ran around in fields loving life. It's light weight, comfortable and neither of my dogs had any problem getting used to wearing it.
