We trusted this company with our import clearance and commercially sensitive information. Instead, they disclosed our outstanding invoices and payment status to third-party logistics companies, resulting in our logistics provider contacting us about our finances. In our view, this was completely unnecessary and showed a serious lack of professionalism and discretion.
When we raised a formal complaint, there was no apology, no accountability and no willingness to acknowledge our concerns. Instead, they justified their actions and terminated our account.
If confidentiality, professionalism and trust are important to your business, I would strongly recommend using a different customs clearance agent.
