Scum bag called Ed, took out money and never turned up for the wedding. Reported to police? Case is still ongoing through small claims court.

Please please please, do not trust this man!

Do not use this company!

Scammed me out of my money, never turnt up to my wedding.. my bank (Monz*** ) will not cover or refund me…

Absolute scum bag! Blocked my number - reported to fraud so hopefully they will do something

SCAM! AVOID, this guy took our money and never showed up! Company dissolved in 2015 now operating under the name Boss Exclusive Limited (also a dodgy company) check on Companies House website!

Scum bag, paid and contact night before our wedding confirming all is fine for the morning. Morning came no show on 10.6.23 and funny enough blocked all our numbers DO NOT USE ed is a scammer luckily the bank returned our money!!!

CON MAN!! HE WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY!! If I could give 0 stars I would - there was a big picture on the wall at our venue which as lovely as it was was not what we wanted at the end of the aisle - after a lot of stress putting a plan together to cover the photo Ed was extremely helpful and knew exactly what we needed and put my mind at ease straight away after thinking it might not be possible. We messaged back and forth and he was quick to reply and answered all my questions.

It got to a month before the wedding and I hadn’t heard from him in a while and for a week or so I couldn’t shake this horrible feeling about it so I googled the company name and there was a horrible review posted one day ago saying the company had taken their money and not done the job so obviously it didn’t fill us with a lot of hope. After messaging we were told the review was left by a ex partner and he can guarantee he will personally be at our wedding on the day of the job. Although we were by no means convinced by what he had to say - one side of me looked at some other reviews I had since found on a website called ‘bark’ and it seems the business had once been amazing with 5* reviews up until 2020/21 where there has since been a few similar to the one mentioned above. In my mind I thought maybe however horrible it is to take peoples money i thought maybe this is a man who got hit by hard times in Covid and has struggled to recover but is trying to turn things around since he seemed to be putting in a lot of effort for a job he was only going to gain £175 for.

This however is clearly not the case because 8 days before the wedding was the last time I heard from this man and he made no attempt to turn up to install our draping. Luckily for us we knew he could possibly be a no show so a company called ‘hire your day’ saved our day and allowed us to hire draping from them to put up our selves otherwise it would have had a massive impact on our day and decor and I would hate to think of other people booking with him not knowing and him ruining their day as well as taking their money.

Ed from original draping provided good communication and was able to assist us within a relatively small time window, despite having other contracts at the same time as our wedding event timeframe in other parts of the country.

We did have some setbacks, due to vehicle difficulties preventing a site visit but my partner and I were very happy with the end result. The drapes were up in a relatively small time window with no issues, despite the arranged tables and chairs in the room.

I would recommend original draping and use their services again for future business.
