Lovely light and airy chalet, modern and comfortable fixtures and fittings, great kitchen appliances and good size bathroom, excellent shower and heated towel rail....and large towels!
Norton park is on the bus route to either Dartmouth or Totnes and runs hourly during the week, just wait at gate or pull in opposite.
Booking and contact with our hosts was excellent.
We throughly enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely choose the correct location, unfortunately the photographs on the Original Cottages website are not accurate, these pictures are of the Lodge are well outdated. We found numerous stains on the suite, lots of food crumb under the cushions on the sofa and chairs and frayed upholstery, dangerously sharp broken foot peddle on bin, cracked bath panel, loose carpet strip into main bedroom, and a lot of wear and tare. We were really disappointed overall and thought it was sad that the upkeep of the property has been neglected, such a shame it is situated in one of the best positions on the site. A lot of money paid to feel let down by the standard. The Lodge is very much in need of some TLC.

Clean bungalow well provided for with equipment ,very convenient to beach, ideal for our break . Lovely walks from the site along beach and inland .Access road poor and hedgerows cause it to be narrow brushing sides of car, could be difficult at peak times of year with several cars going up and down . Parking area large but drain at entrance sits very proud so low cars may find it difficult in poor weather

Booked 5 nights in wales , on the day of the holiday we were travelling to wales got within 30 miles of the cottage when I received a text telling me the cottage was cancelled due to some building work all we were offered was our money back no compensation nothing won’t go with this company again

As expected with a loft apartment lots of stairs but the clean and spacious accommodation with great views was worth the climb.

I can not access my account to manage my booking because theyve changed company details and nobody will help, cant get anyone to contact me back, although quick to be in touch when you owe them money

Owner ignored our concerns.
Original cottages dealt with our concerns and have responded appropriately but the cottage overall was not great for the money. I was most concerned with two sewage spills that required attention. Staff dealt promptly and kept me informed but owner just ignored us.

This property was absolutely fantastic and exceeded all our expectations! We were a group of 21 celebrating a 60th birthday and had an amazing time. The two children in our group especially loved the play area and games room, which kept them happily entertained. The hot tubs were a big hit, and the views were simply breathtaking.

Thanks to the spacious layout, it never felt crowded, everyone had their own space to relax, but there were plenty of opportunities for us to come together, which made the experience even more special. We ventured out on a walk to explore the local area, which was a highlight - especially with the brilliant weather we had on the weekend.

The property is very secluded, which meant we could enjoy playing music and celebrating without worry. I would absolutely recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!

Great place to stay. Lovely spacious clean barn with secluded garden and fabulous views. Local to lots of sightseeing places. From booking the holiday to actually going on holiday original cottages were informative and professional.

High quality cottage with outstanding views. The lack of ability to buy groceries locally is an issue and at he time of our visit surrounding building work and the infants school next door gave constant noise during weekdays.

Lovely views of the bay but noisy with neighbours beneath our apartment during evening. Apparently it is known to other residents. Cars like to race up the hill on way to mumbles so can get a bit irritating but the sound of the sea is beautiful . Cutlery and crockery was dirty so had to wash them all before we could use them. Mattress needs replacing as very stained and also pillows were stained too.
Shame as it was in a good location but not for us again.
