Improved service lately.
I have been an Optiontown customer for 2 years and have purchased several flight passes with my preferred airline. The experience improved over time; at first, they were a bit clumsy, but now they respond quickly and sort issues. Unfortunately, the airline I regularly used to travel to my home country increased its prices on Optiontown by 70%! It’s no longer convenient to buy tickets in a pass. I can save money by purchasing a single flight in advance from other providers.
Fraud team—please take action
Fraud team—please take action. After purchasing the flight pass, the booking experience is completely different from what was promised. For every booking, you are forced to pay an additional amount that is almost double the actual fare. Once you are trapped, there is no way to recover your money. I lost money twice, and now there are no options left. This is a scam website. Please be aware.
Refunded ticket without notification
Fraud scammer
I had buy ticket with extra money as compare to airline website

Advertise the airline but not providing service. They have the form to provide the perfect details but always fails. After reaching out they mentioned they do not provide the service for the airline. Then why keep the name of the airlines.
pricing is trap

highly recommend dont go for it
Be careful — unfair extra charge after confirmed booking
I’ve been a loyal Optiontown customer for years, but my recent experience has been extremely disappointing and unfair.
I purchased two separate Travel Passes for the Moroni–Paris and Paris–Moroni routes. When I paid, the booking status showed as “pending.” I had to contact Optiontown myself to get it confirmed. Their team told me they had verified everything with the airline and then manually confirmed the booking.
If there had truly been any issue with missing fees or system errors, this is exactly when it should have been detected — before confirmation. Yet they validated my reservation, I completed one flight successfully, and everything was fine for weeks.
Then, out of nowhere, they demanded an extra USD 3,300, claiming there had been a “system error.” Even one of their own representatives admitted in writing that “the system did not ask for it while booking.”
Despite this clear admission that the problem came from their system — and despite the fact that they had personally confirmed my booking — they blocked my other valid Travel Passes until I pay this unjustified amount.
This behavior contradicts their own Terms of Service, which clearly state that all fees must be displayed before completing the transaction. It’s a serious lack of transparency and professionalism.
⚠️ My advice: Be extremely cautious before buying from Optiontown. Keep screenshots of every step, and don’t assume that a confirmed booking means you’re safe. Their system — and apparently their internal checks — cannot be trusted.

Optiontown has been one of my greatest experience in planning, booking and enjoying flight travel. Not only, they have saved hundreds of flight search hours that I used to spend earlier, they have made my flight booking and traveling experience at its best!! Thank you Optiontown for creating such a marvel in the aviation industry.

Unauthorized Deduction Without Consent – Breach of Trust
I purchased an Oman Air Flight Pass through Optiontown (OCN: 1007277639) with an invoice amount of 851 OMR. However, instead of charging the full amount upfront, only 85.1 OMR was initially deducted from my friend’s credit card, even though the invoice showed 851 OMR.
Later, due to a system failure, I was unable to book my remaining flights. Optiontown promised to refund 256 OMR but refunded only 25.6 OMR instead.
The most serious issue, however, happened afterward: Optiontown deducted 510 OMR from my friend’s credit card without his consent or mine, and without any prior notice. While I acknowledge that this was the correct outstanding balance, the way it was processed was completely unacceptable. No company should store card details and later deduct funds without clear communication and explicit authorization.
This action caused me to lose goodwill with my friend, whose card was charged unexpectedly. Beyond the technical issues and poor handling of refunds, this raises a much bigger concern: payment security and data privacy. Customers must be able to trust that their payment details will not be used without permission.
Because of this breach of trust, I am demanding compensation for the distress and damage caused, even though I do not dispute the amount deducted itself.
Optiontown needs to take responsibility for:
• Processing a deduction without cardholder consent.
• Failing to inform me before taking the payment.
• Mishandling refunds and creating unnecessary confusion.
I urge Optiontown to address this matter with seriousness and accountability. And I strongly advise potential customers to be extremely cautious when dealing with this platform.

Scam-Like Experience – Flight Pass Is a Rip-Off
I gave Optiontown nearly three months to fix a simple issue. I even deleted my initial review to allow them time. That courtesy was completely wasted.
I have now missed the booking window due to their persistent inaction. Despite countless emails, all I ever received were copy-paste excuses blaming a so-called “technical issue.” No fix. No follow-up. No ownership. Just silence and delays.
Their own terms require bookings to be made 90 days in advance — and thanks to their negligence, that window has now closed. I paid for a service I was never allowed to use.
Optiontown’s customer service has been utterly useless, offering nothing but scripted responses and empty promises. No urgency, no escalation, no compensation — not even basic respect for a paying customer.
This experience has been infuriating, deeply disappointing, and frankly feels like a scam. I have lost time, money, and trust.
Avoid the Oman Air Flight Pass at all costs. It’s a broken system backed by incompetent support. You risk losing your money entirely.
