I ordered a precision machined aluminum disc. I was very impressed with how well it was packaged.
The disc was vacuum sealed into the center of a large square cardboard sandwich, which was securely taped on all sides. It looked like it could have been dropped out of a plane, and it would have still arrived to me undamaged.
Kudos....very impressive!

Online metals is ok if you need something in small quantities. If your a machinist like me they are usless unless you want to get everything oversized and not use stock sizes. There material generally comes banged up, beat up and scratched up. So make sure if your machining it to get it oversized for what you are doing because most of the defects will not clean up with a jitterbug.

Ordering was easy and finding the items I was looking for was simple. The checkout process is easy, but if you have an established net30 account it should default to that form of payment. I only use your sight occasionally and forgot that I had setup terms with so I put this purchase on my Credit card and i would have preferred to have had it on net30 terms.

As a DIY, I found your web site search not very useful. Also, I don't know if there are some mistakes or not but I found "Nominal Size" to be near meaningless. e.g., I really need some 1.5 inch ID stainless pipe and never did find it. It sure seems to me that should be common size.
